I have never been so insulted by a government. I will not speak for others but I worked frontline every day of the pandemic. I was covering colleagues who were dropping like flies with covid. Never got a break to the point I had to be signed off with stress for the first time in my working career of 30 years. There were no bonuses, I think we got a mug. I didn't even bother to collect mine. I worked tirelessly to also help my partner keep their own restaurant going through the pandemic. I have now been told the hours I accrued in leave I couldn't take are now forfeited. The energy Bill's are gonna send my other halfs restaurant into the ground.
We are now being slaughtered by fat cats and this government is holding the gate open and sharpening the axes.
If I hear her say that they have capped leccy and gas again I'll go mad. As others have said it is cancelled out by the interest rate rise.
0 hour contracts, very little remuneration for staff from companies taking in millions. Lucky if they get basic wage. Appalling hours and working conditions.
About time the British Public told the government to stick it, never have I felt so much resentment for a government.

A friend of mine was overjoyed when Boris took over, that soon soured and day in day out I was receiving text messages about how awful he was. Now... he wants Boris back! He thinks he was wonderful. Why? Because he can't afford to pay his mortgage and bills. It doesn't matter who is in power now, the financial system is ruined. If a handful of people own all the wealth then eventually the whole system shuts down, the basics of that are shown on a Monopoly board... In the end the game stops because no one can afford anything, the rich own everything and in the end that becomes nothing. Businesses are shutting, homes will be repossessed, transport companies can't afford fuel, food production costs for forced vegetables is going to be unaffordable, food supply chains shut down and in the end we have major problems even getting the basics. The rich are still fleecing the system and bankers are pocketing billions... yet they don't seem to realise that soon, no amount of wealth will help them, everything will ground to a halt, they won't have anywhere to spend their cash. When that happens we will see civil unrest, and the first facing trouble will be the ones that got us into this situation, the rich, religions who sit on vast amounts of wealth and our corrupt governments. I'm sure many will disagree and try and remain optimistic, but come back to me in 2 years and feel free to laugh at me if i'm wrong. I won't be, the system is broken. Good luck guys, this is going to get interesting.

My wife is permanently at home and extremely poorly and cannot work. My youngest son is at high school and even he comes to me worried about how we as a nation can afford to live. For a young boy he is worried about “my” welfare as he can see how stressed i am. When the mortgage rates go up we will be losing our home at this rate… I have always paid my way in life and pay my taxes… now i am having my families life taken from them… This is not right on so many levels.
My mental health is suffering and so is my youngest sons… again this is not right.
I used to vote. conservative … but in the last 15 years have been voting labour as they appear to be slightly kinder to the population.
Not all, but most of the tries are so detached and removed from us…. There is another agenda going on here.. over control of peoples finances, forcing people en-mass to be begging for help from the government… this is how total society control starts, slowly making everyone completely dependent on the government for a normal life as they are panic stricken into submission.
I have never felt so strongly and I hate the way i am thinking, but it just makes no sense……. Unless Putin is in on this so-called world order, I believe its just an excuse for a terrible disassociated government.

I've seen almost all stand up comedies, but that bit at the end with the general election ... every bit of it hilarious. From the question to her answer to the mp's laugh and to the speaker's expression..... this is british sarcasm at it's best......This woman is dangerous anyway

A wooden Truss that has collapsed letting the rain pour in. She is dreadful in every way. Reminds me of a supply teacher in front of a rowdy class for the first time at PMQ's.

    Was that Prime Minister's Questions?
Thanks to the lax Speaker it felt more like Opposition Leaders Questions.
Hoyle needs to demand answers from the PM, not questions.
