Just a friendly reminder that for Unlicensed Datel Discs (Action Replay, Advance Game Port, etc.) You will need a modified version of CleanRip
They merged that into the latest builds

Do you have to keep all three files? I understand the ISO file is main one. Does it matter if you delete the other two?
No, iso is all you need
I recently installed homebrew and cleanrip on my Wii for the purpose of ripping my GameCube games so I can play them on dolphin on my laptop. After I complete the cleanrip process on my GC game I take the usb out from my Wii and plug it into my laptop. To my surprise there are 0 files detected in my usb. What was cleanrip even ripping to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you select the sd card
@@ArchadesGames I think I just found out what happened. My game was downloaded onto the usb that I have cleanrip installed on. Idk why that happened but atleast I can still use that

If I am low on SD card space, and I enabled the "New device per chunk" option, what do I do when it asks me to insert a device for the next chunk? I am scared of what will happen if I take the SD card out, since isn't CleanRip running off the SD card? Will it crash? Or am I able to just eject the SD card safely and move the ISO chunks to another storage device?
(I am wondering what a Wii Music TAS would sound like, so I am trying to dump Wii Music. I am uncertain if my SD can fit Wii Music. I will update if I had enough space, but answer the question anyways for anyone who finds this comment.)
Update: I had enough space, but I think I waited too long and it said "Copy failed," then said that 0 discs were dumped and asked if I wanted to dump another disc. Now I know that I don't need the chunks in my situation, but again, it would be nice to answer the question anyways.
Is this an optimal way to check whether or not your scratched gamecube 100% work?
This is probably a bit late, but I'd wager the only real way to be sure is to try ripping it a few times and see if it works.

very few games had revisions on the GameCube, so most will be 1.00
I’m not sure what to do. I am trying to download melee to the file but it stops a little after 9 minutes left, it says “unrecoverd error”
Means there is an area it can't read. Can try cleaning it.
Think I'll get a wii again.. think I still have all my games backed up on a hdd. Did ripping it with a pc come first because I still have a dvd drive but I also remember ripping them from console too ?? Think I still have a modded one from xbox 360??
Only like 3 DVD drives could actually read Wii/GC discs so more likely you did them with a console.

Great video, cheers! How do you rip cube games with multiple discs, for example resident evil? Is there a specific process to merge the files or anything as part way through resident evil, the cube system prompts you to open the door and insert disc 2. Not sure how this would work during emulation. Thanks in advance!
You rip both discs then use the change disc function in dolphin to swap them

When the screen pops up that says "Insert a SD FAT32 formatted device", if you hit A to continue, does it format the device or is that just a menu that comes up no mater what? My SD is FAT32, but the way the menu is, confuses me and I don't want to accidentally format it.
