The title of the video is misleading: when do you show and use the original Microcube? - this is just another demo of the GX. Some people claim the original sounds better than the GX. I would have liked to see this, given the video title.

I'm glad you made the vid, but I'm disappointed that you didn't have a Microcube there to do a back to back comparison as is suggested by the title of Microcube GX vs Microcube. I wanted to know about the differences in the sound.

A nice demo. One point, however: 2.7kg (6 lbs) is not "just over the weight of a bag of sugar". It's the weight of nearly three bags of sugar. Still light enough for portable use, of course, but no featherweight.
Maybe he buys 2.5kg bags of sugar 🤷🏻♂️

Does the i cube link work as regular aux in for mp3s etc?
Yes On my micro cube gx the I cube link works as a normal aux input I can plug in my android phone and record what I play and play along songs from my phone so I think you can do the same thing whit your mp3 player:-)
What is the pickup position for the acoustic simulator?
I find middle pickup is the best for this setting
can this amp handle a low F# or a low E of an 8 string guitar ?
Played low on clean I can play my bass on it for practice in the bedroom. No jamming
@hbunited 12, i prefer the new GX range given the choice but there are some great deals to be had on the previous models now too. Try them both for yourself if you get the chance so you can get a feel for them

I read reviews of amplitube in the app store and people were complaining about latency problems- so I returned the I rig HD I had bought the day before. What do you use with irig that works well? Garageband or something else?
This microcube seems the way to go if you want to project your sound outside instead of just in your headphones?

Joel Molina lower overall power basically think of it as a power knob and low u can get break up faster with the gain and regular volume elevated

Ordererd a Cube not long ago. The only thing I need now is a Guatemalan cleaner to come in and mess up my settings so I can properly test the memory function 😅
Sounds like I can just use I rig.. Roland super smart idea get customers to use apple so they figure out they don't need you.

Hi mate I got this amp I've never had one before.i really need your help I can't get the guitar to come though the amp.no sound I tryed your settings other vids I am lost I doing something wrong do I need the app to make it turn on? Roland never did figure out how to make an acoustic sound that actually sounds like acoustic. Roland always creates an electric sounding acoustic. It's like they can't figure out how to model acoustic resonance, ambiance, and harmonics, for a convincing acoustic sound.
It's not such an easy task... even something very powerful and expensive like the Axe FX II cannot make an electric guitar sound like a convincing acoustic guitar (not that that is the unit's purpose).
Why not Android also? Only the Fanboy Iphone BS!
