Hell yeah my dude good video I'm more of a low tone metal so-called djent metal kind of guy but I really like that clean tone I think it would carry the low with it well🍻
Just picked one of these up and found the amp sounds significantly fatter and loses some of that small amp boxy sound by cranking the master and adjust overall volume with the amplifier volume.
What do you think of the Cube Street, Jason? I have two of them that I use to use together with a GT-8 effects processor but now I need something even smaller. Your review makes me want to sell one of them and get this Micro Cube GX. Should I do it?
@@JasonJohnContos I think the Street Cube is particularly good for a small bar PA gig, or street gigs, of course, but it's a tad expensive for a basic home practice amp, although, if you can swing it, I've been told the Street Cube is really fantastic. It's trusted by street dudes the world over, even with pedals and alt. power sources and all that. There's one street busker girl on here from UK that uses it, and she says she invested in one overdrive and one good Reverb FX pedal, and that's it, plus someone built her a rechargeable current-inverter power box for it, to help increase playing time. Roland makes a good product, no doubt. I think the Street Cube is also a bit higher-powered. If you can blow like $600 the Roland Jazz Chorus amp is beyond great.
People on the street aren't gonna bust on you for not having a full Boss rack of pedals! hehe. And who the hell in their right mind would lug their Vox AC30 around on the street, even if you can find a power source? Not a great idea. Oh it's raining! ZOTTTTTT Oh snap, I'm electrocuted, and my AC30 blew up. Bugger.
I have the old version, and I own the jazz chorus 22. Seriously the best practice amps ever IMO. Great video
Really want a JC-22 but can't find any used rn, how does the JC setting on the micro cube compare?
@@FusRoMoose It compares really well actually…I love the micro cube!

Yes for home definitely. Obviously to play djent live you’ll need something much bigger!
I just got this amp. Sep. 2019... Pretty sweet... It is pretty loud for a 3watt battery powered amp... Lots of crunch for a small amp...
It seems we agree then that’s it’s an amazing little box!!

Hi the Street Cube is also fantastic. If it’s too big for you then yes I 100% recommend these Microcubes! Good luck!

None of these mini amps have tons of low end, but you cannot expect much from this size amp, really. Maybe if you ran it into a cabinet.
Perfect for a mix, guitar doesn’t need low end in most cases
@@alexmurphy5289 That's true, how much low end do you need? You just don't want an amp to sound tinny, etc.
