    Just got this to use as my first beginner amp, I chose this one because it had all the cool effects and is very light while sounding good.

      good call. never sell it. always good for a practice amp. even if you have all the great tube amps in the world.

    Pretty sweet little amp. I want one now. Wish you would have brought that phaser in with that Tele and strummed a little Waylon Jennings.

    Great choice with the G&L too. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I did not know you played regular electric guitar though!

    Thanks for this. Still to need to hear more of the Black Panel being played. I'm after that particular sound and not sure if this amp can do it.

    have you tried to play guitar on the mic setting? gain at 3 o-clock. sweet sweet distortion tone. i wonder what pedal can do that very same tone.

    Really good Demo, I'm looking for a small kinda Amp to use outside. But not for guitar but Native American flute. I have a wireless mic. I want something that give me that kind of playing in a cave sound if you know what I mean.
    I was wondering if this or the other one with twin speakers would be better.
    I just want to take it to the forest or by a river to play the flute.

    Great little practice and knock around amp. Jamming at max volume though, batteries don't last long, so have spares or plug in with adapter... 😎

      If you use dollar store cheap batteries they wont last for beans. The hardly run a clock. I use Everready's and the go a long time. Hope this helps.

    I dont remember when I first heard these amp .might be 2006 or 2012 ..really want one but not able to buy at that time until Oct 2022.found one used..grab it. the things i like about these amp is easy to dial..from acoustic to brit combo sounds good .classic stack is kinda love and hate . rectifier on these not so much for me.. for clean..these amp win.

    I'm a 57 year old DJ. I play many instruments but the lead guitar was my favorite. It's the hardest to play.
    I got me a Micro Cube but no guitar 🎸😒

    What settings did you use for the Blues lessons w/ overdriven tone ?

    • @neightmorris
      @neightmorris 3 года назад

      for a great overdriven sound try the brit combo-tone at 1o’clock -gain at 4 o’clock- and volume at 9 o’clock. add delay 50% Rock out!

  • @benwright6330

    ..the next model, the micro cube GX is 3 watts and has a master volume knob whereas the older one, the regular micro cube your demoing, is 2 watts and no master volume, but I wonder which one Sounds better, ..the GX is 1 pound lighter than the regular micro cube.
    ..your Playing is Heavenly by the way, ..especially them old time Hank Williams Sr tones your gettin' 🌌

    i use distorion boss ds-2 to this amplifier but it sounds horrible like a lot noises there. anyone please tell me what should i do? or should i use jc clean when i use distortion?

    • @Havanacuba1985
      @Havanacuba1985 4 года назад +1

      Try turning down the gain/distortion setting and set the volume /level to full and use it as a clean boost . Reduce volume or add gain to tAste

    why for a modeling amp do the Rolands kick so much ass when it comes to others?
    easy those great guitar pedals you like to stomp from boss effects.. Roland owns Boss so all those great effects are coming straight out of the Boss family.
    I've had my micro cube now for almost 5 years and has not failed me at all it fits into like a child's backpack and you can pour do it everywhere you want with six AA batteries at just one of the most greatest amps and it gets loud enough to where you can really enjoy it if you're playing along with a track and blend yourself in..
    most of the stuff that I goof around with on my RUclips channel with the electric utilize the Roland micro cube right there just do a cell phone no effects no microphones.
    plus it goes with me in the big 18-wheeler all the time and that's what I love about it can sit there and jam out on one of my cheaper Ibanez but still be able to practice and have fun.. I tell people to your blackstar your other stuff Fender Mustang most people don't get the opportunity because where they go to buy their music they don't sell the Roland microthey go to the big box stores and that's what's pretty much there for them to see... but I tell people once you try one you will have so much fun you'll want one..granted it's not super loud but it will rock the hell out of a bedroom a hotel room I have used the MB rectifier I was wailin some heavy licks and got called from the front desk saying we got a complaintm you need to turn down the amp. lol
    the phaser and flanger are awesome when he want to play some vintage Joe Walsh solo stuff.
    but if you want to know what to do without micing and studio just as is Let it fly. just check out some of the videos on my RUclips channel it's done in the bedroom with a cheap old boombox or on its own with just an LG v20 cell phone on video record no edits.. faults and all but you can definitely hear what it sounds like if you were to buy it and don't have all the studio trickery or micing
    capabilities and just want to know what it's like if you were jamming in the bedroom..

    I just bought a Micro cube amp from goodwill for 4 dollars and it works great except for one switch, any of the six settings from acoustic to R-Fier does not work. it's just a clean sound regardless what setting it's on. what I'm trying to do is disassemble it and run a test on the components on the circuit board. Or would you know what part it is that needs replaced and I can do the work being I took it to a shop and without any work done they wanted up front 60 bucks, so I just want to do it myself just need a schematic.. where to find that and part ?
    Thanks.

      You can order parts straight from Roland. It probably just needs a new switch

      No

    • @truckerkevthepaidtourist
      @truckerkevthepaidtourist 4 года назад

      no it's not it was designed way before Bluetooth technology was readily available everywhere.
      what it will do though is kick-ass with like a portable CD player if you have one kind of looks like the old Sony Walkman you can plug it into the auxiliary Jack and just rock out to the CD.. and you can also plug your phone in the same way
