The real question is who's Top Dog's. lol 22
The SAS is where it all started from the World of Spec Ops!!!!! They deserve nothing but RESPECT!!!!!🫡🫡🫡
What always cracks me up is the civvies arguing who’s best and giving uninformed reasons why one side is better than the other…….then you listen to the guys who have actually operated in these units and they have nothing but total respect for eachother…..🇬🇧+🇺🇸 💪
I've only met 3 SF guys in a civilian capacity, even then, they were the ones asking all the questions, interested in what everyone had to say and always the last doing whatever it is was being done. Anyone can be like that in their lives, you don't have to be a soldier. It's a lot of work though, it's easier to come here and get a little reflected glory through those that do do it.
@@jelkel25I met an ex SAS guy at a book signing about ten years ago. Very impressive intellectually and looked like he was carved out of granite.
It's the same across the entire military. Basement dwelling keyboard warriors giving it mouth, but the service personnel themselves never have a bad word to say about their counterparts. Some of our politicians could learn a thing a thing or two from their example!
its called being polite to the yanks
@@stirlingmoss4621 It's called you being just the sort of know-it-all, experienced-none-of-it **** referred to in the comments. So what unit do you serve in?
My dad (Miley Carter) was 22nd in the regiment in the late 50’s early 60’s doesn’t talk much about it. I’ve read more in books about him than he’s told me. He’s 89 now and still very humble.
That's how it should be. Not getting on the net saying you served. So what ? So did millions of others.
humble=feeling ashamed

Us British Squaddies have to pass a banter course to get promoted 😅 Loved working with the US Troops, had the pleasure of working with your WARHAMMER Call Signs on a regular basis in Helmand!!
Long live our American brothers love from uk 🇬🇧
Back at you brother!😎👍
Doesn't matter who anyone thinks they are no one can "TROLL" the SAS or any other special forces.
You sir are dispotickly wong because I have it on good authority that 2 British citizens trolled the SAS at Brecon Beacons, 2010 lions 🦁 in fact one of the trollers was on tag having just been released from prison and how do I know this as fact…..because it was my pleasure 😇 my idea and my family experience and to be fair we could have been shot because we found the killing house itself and a tank 😂

Sorry to say but spec ops started with the Germans Otto skorzeny, surname spelt wrong but easy to look up if u need the correct spelling 😊

Really neat to see interviews with these guys, thanks
Note - it is "two two SAS" not "twenty two SAS"
…..regiment 😉 🇬🇧
@@sierrayankee91 No, just "two two SAS" as the op originally suggested, like "four five Commando", or "two Para", and so on.
Oh right ok, yeah you’re right sir.👍🏻 🇬🇧
Well, that's 4 SAS.
There’s always banter between the UK and the US forces but ultimately when it hits the fan we fight together

Point of order: its 'Two two SAS', not 'Twenty two SAS'. And absolutely not 'The 22nd SAS'
For the Americans it’s Natiural cos 82nd . 101st etc…. Leave them be their hearts in the right place 😂
"How much is a double nine nine with raspberry ripple and a flake" three four five roger."why we talking like this " Its my SAS 22 training" wow😂😂
Surprised the SAS Lads didn't offer to give it Another Go just as a Demo!?
I was a Special Forces Submarine fighter pilot who transferred to the Interstellar Space Corp. We had freefallen onto the planet ZOG to fight off giant Spiders that threatened to invade Terra. I was bitten several times by Spiders during this mission, so I can now climb skyscrapers faster than a 7.62 can reach its intended target.
I was in the assault team that went into the Face of Mars, which was the HQ of Commander Ziggy Stardust. However he identified, he had a ton of spiders on Mars.
I wish I could say we achieved a total victory, but he pulled out his guitar and played it.
Thanks for your service
🤣
Violence speed momentum
As an ex British army serviceman. No one calls the the SAS Twenty two. We all call them Two-Two SAS
Roger!
What bs is this I was infantry for ten years I never called the sas ,2 2 sas
As a total system these guys are up there at the top BUT it’s easy to say your the best when you have the most highly funded war machine behind you, the technology, state or the art weapons systems, upto date satellite intelligence etc, as far as whose the best fighters logic would tell you it’s the poorly equipped but very determined guys that these SF guys are sent to fight, they do it without all the fancy advanced kit, no air support to rescue them when things get sticky etc, like Mark Luttrels seal team that got wiped out in Afghanistan, I know the official story is they got overrun by hundreds of Taliban but the guy who rescued Mark Luttrel said there was only 50 fighters in the area & only about 15 the actual area where the battle occurred, the seals had a big head start to get away yet we’re still intercepted by the Taliban fighters & decimated, regular western non SF squaddies wouldn’t stand a chance against those fighters, every clip I see of engagements in Afghanistan the NATO forces suck, take cover, fire a few rounds from a distance & call in air support to fend off an attack by the Taliban, those squaddies don’t really have experience in actual combat, they’re more like expert comms operators, air support on speed dial kinda guys.
If the tables were turned I don’t think western forces would even consider fighting a enemy with superior technology & firepower that they themselves didn’t possess, never in history has there ever been such an ill equipped but extremely determined & fearless group of men take on a behemoth of a coalition force with massive firepower & unlimited resources yet come out on top, never in history.
So we have to take these claims of being the best with a large sack of salt tbh.
PS.
I’ve worked along side with the SAS and observed the Rangers so I do know the difference from either regular soldier’s and the Spec ops guys!
What is an Army operator? Is that the same as a soldier?
It is a term that originally meant a member of Delta Force (CAG) but has evolved to mean any SOF member.
Special Operations guy, hence “operator”. Broadly most of they can be called soldiers (as long as they are Army) but operator is more specific
Someone who connects phone calls at base?
I’m here because I’m a Ft. Bragg groupie😂😂
The question should be: Why are we always fighting in wars WE start?
It's not twenty-two SAS, it's two two SAS.
No SAS then no Delta Force. The creator of Delta was a troop leader in the SAS and with what he learned he created Delta at the end of his attachment.
No Spartans then no SAS 😂. What’s you’re point dude
@@connorhall8463 So you're saying if Sterling hadn't been a Spartan there'd be no SAS ? My point is how does your brain keep you breathing ?

Someone doesn’t know what they’re talking about 😂. Delta selects for the exact same types of people as SAS.
SAS>the rest
Delta Force was formed after a US officer Charles Beckworth came back to the US after a posting to the SAS. He campaigned for a similar unit and Delta Force was formed with similar selection process and set up. Not sure if the selection and set up of Delta is still the same as it was 50 years ago since Delta were set up.
I worked with British volunteers in Ukraine. They were awesome.

Is that why yr on here
I take it you’re here for the sausage?
No, I'm trainee plastics. You're sausage the boys.
The non US ranger soldiers are by comparison, not even close to the SAS/SBS as soldiers, let alone better. Rangers and green berets and US Navy seals are very similar but have different missions to the brits. These US forces do cross train with the brits as do the Aussie and Kiwi SAS units. So with exceptions, the US Army is not fit to act in any role of support to either the SAS or SBS, in fairness not many Armies are.
If your going to talk about our SF boys, do the research and get the lingo right please. No one calls them 'twenty two SAS', its 'two two SAS'. Its a bit like calling the Gren Berets the Green Berries......especially after you've even had some SAS on your Pod!!!!
Interesting. In American English, beret is pronounced bə-ˈrā, but in British English, it is pronounced be-rēz. Learn something new everyday.
@@kevinong1735 going by the dictionary pronounciation you have added, I don’t understand how it sounds. Phonetically our version sounds more like berray, with a silent T. The dictionary description of how us Brits apparently say it ‘berēz’
