The bodies they were digging up were American Soldiers that had been killed or died of wounds while in captivity, in short, Jessica Lynch’s team.
The reason they wore chem suits was because there was a concern about chemical warfare being used against US Forces.
Do as I say and not as I do was pretty much the reason why I got out of the Army.
It goes against everything I was ever taught about leadership.
The 'hurry up and wait' though, that seems inescapable.
too many chiefs, not enough indians, and the ongoing negative vibe.
seemed like it was "a place" where the losers of american society got on board in order to make a living...get a monthly paycheck.
What y’all went through is a hellish nightmare. You, sir, and your fellow soldiers are super-heroes.
God Bless the Ranger Battalion. Thank you sir.
“Heroes are not made. They are born out of circumstances and rise to the occasion when their spirit can no longer coexist with the hypocrisy of injustice to others.” ~ Shannon L. Alder
of this is why as much as I miss being a soldier, I hate the military with such total passion. every officer, especially the generals are enemies of everything good and honest in the world.
Yeah Jay officers are just Pile a titions.
Bit of a blanket statement.
Those chem suits are pure torture. Talk about irresponsible "leadership"...
When I was in the Army we got issued the original MOPP gear. What a bitch!!!
Brother I was Task Force Tarawa 1/2 Charlie Company, hit Nasiryah on March 23, 2003, we saw the burning vehicle's and couldn't figure out what was going on , we investigated a little but our mission was to secure the bridge. Thats when our comm failed us and shit went down from there.
Same we were 1/4 right next to you. They were going down the line picking bodies for this rescue. Spooky looking operators in flight suits and high speed gear. Had 300 Republican gaurd coming at us. NVGs were almost inop due to the overcast. All we had was lightning to see in the dark. Crazy night
F 2/8 gentlemen. 🤘🏻
Rangers Lead The Way!!!! Semper Fi from a Marine Grunt!!! You guys are awesome
I know that smell. Local marine came home n was lost for maybe 3 months poor guy hung himself in the woods i help n stayed with him 🙏 🤲
We were digging through each other's vomit. I took a drink from my camelback... something was wrong. The nozzle had been dragging in the mud produced from the coarpses.

Thank you!
God bless that Staff Sgt.

"I'm sorry your trauma is not service-connected".
Thank You
Ya, I knew that Jessica’s fellow soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice, but I hadn’t heard anything about their bodies being dug up. What an awful yet touching story at the same time. Leave no man(woman) behind.
Lol the more things change... I'll always remember one morning in 1985 we did PT, and according to the radio that morning the temp was 29F - in Georgia lol. And our PT uniform at the time was the yellow "Bumblebee" shorts and t-shirts. Yet the entire company leadership from the CO all the way down to the platoon sgts were wearing the yellow "Banana Suit" which was a full length sweatsuit.
Of course the whole company got its ass chewed though for being "unmotivated" lol.
I like your content and interview style but the thumbnail pic/title is misleading and creates an inference that is disrespectful to Lynch.
Note to self... vicks vapor rub is added to ready bag...😢
That wouldn't even touch this. Not even a little
I wasn't there. But I was unlucky enough to experienced mass graves in Iraq.
As a private soldier with a Scottish regiment working with the S B S S A S they were so chill no snobbery with the them just professional you need to be able to trust the ones around you 💯 in the army there is to much at stake
what regiment pal i was former SG . agree with your status though inter regiments definitely had snobbery about them .
I was support staff with 3PPCLI working from CFB Wainwright. I had an opportunity to work with a company of Gurkha's as a driver back in the 70's.
Great bunch of guys, very polite and very professional. I managed to refrain from asking to see one of their Kukri's as rumour has it if they draw the knife it has to taste blood.
I think that’s exactly what happens with us when on operations, different story, sometimes when back home, but when there’s a common goal and a war on we do come together, but i have had many experiences and conversations and when people in theatre realise some situations have been minipulated, let’s say, it’s really awful and makes people question everything
Vicks vaporub on the upper lip can't fuck with that smell.
That’s a myth
@@saulayala4970 What's a myth? That menthol masks unpleasant odors? It's smell is unique, and it's most prominent feature. Even when the menthol is long gone, it's still the only thing you can smell. Mentholated petroleum jelly under the nose does mask the odor of decomposition to some extent, but its effectiveness is inversely proportional to ripeness. Vaporub + a cool mint listerine breath strip = maximal sensory saturation. It's not perfect, but it's pretty fucking legit.
@@saulayala4970 how can it be a myth that menthol helps to disguise unpleasant odors? I mean, menthol is used to freshen bad breath. That's like saying birds are a myth. It doesn't even make sense.
@@tehmtbz I know first hand. The only thing that works is some gas masks and some odor masks if you get a good fir. Not really doable when it’s 115 degrees indoors and out. Some people can handle the decomp smell and some can’t.
You just take a deep breath. If you can take it, you will know right then and there. If you gag once, you’re done. If you start yawning, you’re done.
I’ve never ever seen anyone, any professional, from investigators, M.E. personnel, to clean up people , bust out with Vicks
The odor is at another level. It sticks to your clothes and hair. It sticks to your nose hair and you smell it hours later.
@@saulayala4970 that was the point, right? Three weeks ripe in the desert. Vicks works well enough in the circumstances I've used it. I'd rather use it than not. But digging up a mass grave in the desert is worlds apart from a week old death by natural causes in a home.
@davidhooksteadinterviews - Can you please make a video about the strange deaths of Mark Leshikar and William J. Lavigne?
A little annoyed with the, were better than you attitudes in the military. Can team, and teamwork come before attitudes? Much respect to the Ranger unit task with recovering those bodies!
??? Where's that coming from?
@@scallopohare9431 You didn't hear the Ranger, in the beginning speak of ST6 attitudes about their involvement on this mission?
@@keithjackson4985 No, will go back in a bit.
Okay, he did say the other group "was not too nice" when his group tried to hitch a ride. That's all that came up on my playing the video. I was candy ass Air Force, but I heard way worse!
@@scallopohare9431I think the part you are missing is that he was understating it in the extreme. “They were not too nice” translates into “They were real cunts”.
Unfortunately in the SOF community there is a prevalent prima Donna attitude and a “we are sooo much better and more deserving than you” attitude among many even though the target of those attitudes are often the ones that come to your rescue when the atrocious planning of your command comes and bites you in the arse and they don’t get all shitty about your ragged battered arse hitching a ride to safety with them.
So many a-holes in the Army especially amongst the Lifers! Very good Soldiers too, those mostly were amongst the one and done enlisted Soldiers.
As a Lifer, I can tell you I always tried to protect my troops from lifers. I was of course enlisted. I also never forgot who screwed my guys over and as a lifer usually found creative revenge with the help of the S-1 shop and the E-4 mafia.
The smell, that’ll never go away.
God bles you guys.
Stay Gold America Peace
He’s talking about Miller. regular army is full of them. My coworker was a defensive back at Georgia. When he said yard line he was talking about Miller. I’d bet a case of mustard sardines and a case of honey bunnies it’s Miler. He would have been by then a major. Of course I could be wrong. We will never know unless you ask in person and really ? In the town in Georgia they making fun of him. He was relieved of a command when he got involved with a local young girl. Of course I could be wrong. When you hear moving the yard line it’s got to be that nut job. Just think general Millie Xs 20. Complete nut job
Yep he did indeed get his butt in trouble over that young girl.
SEALs man...
Who was dug up? Why?
It was the soldiers killed in the 507th ambush when Lynch was taken. According to an old article there were 8 members of the 507th maint and 1 member of 3rd ID. They were buried in shallow graves near the hospital where the rescue took place.
@@kmill5009 thank you for the info. Now it all makes sense.
Dominiquie Vandenberg a former French foreign legion para commando posted a picture on his RUclips account of his friend ishman at Osama Ibn Ladin burial in 2003 and his account got suspended and phone and computer broke that had this picture. Osama aka Tim Ossman died of kidney failure
They were in a hurry to get rid of the supposed body. Burial at sea. Huh?
That fn O had a butt buddy put him in for a BS.
I'm ex RN and like everyone else had experience with the difference between the ratings and the officer ranks....
Even though the general ethos is not give an order or command that you would not carry out yourself, the need to keep discipline and good order by demonstrating privilege of rank is most evident..... for example,if your ship has to anchor off shore and transport from ship to shore is via " liberty boat" on regular schedule, there is always a queue ( both ways) , the rules are very simple, going ashore the ordinary crew get on first and wait for the officers, when arriving the officers get off first..... it's just to make sure everyone knows their place,if two officers are drunk and get injured ( during a celebration in their " wardroom" the incident is called " high spirits" and acceptable behaviour, when a lower rank does the same it's called " skylarking" which is an offence......
The vast majority of the time it's just how it is and part of military discipline,
But it can be a serious issue when indecision causes frustration.... like when the SAS unit on surveillance was arrested by " friendly police" , the two man team was shown on local TV with obvious wounds from being beaten. The atmosphere was bad enough in the rest of the unit but turned into an explosive rage when the story of them being handed over to a paramilitary group..... the government and military commanders couldn't come to an agreement so the SAS went in rescue mode without permission, with help from regular and armoured regiments they stormed the prison and other positions given by military intelligence and rescued them both.......it was only after the success of the rescue that it was retrospectively granted......
Wish this had been rehearsed a bit before releasing it as good a report as this is. Salute for a heroic effort
Ranger leadership has been into s&m since the 80s
The informant. Was. A. Very. Spiritual. Man. He had. Gotten a. Vision and. Followed it
Who were the bodies that were dug up and what was the purpose of burning them for?
It was U.S soliders that were killed when lynch was captured they were buried in shallow graves they were digging them up to send them home so they can be buried at home
Stays with ya for a day or 2… that odor. Watched experienced detectives put Vicks up their noses with q-tips… thus destroying their mucus membrane… 24-36 hours. It goes away.
Get Andy Stumpf on he was there too
🙄
Say what you mean. Eye rolling is feminine af.
Sad
Navy SEAL's aren't going to rescue some random American hanging out on a farm. What was that guy REALLY doing in Africa that he was contacted by guerilla's?
Slippage is a hard to pull on
Dr. Edwynn Shlaemmer m.d. ?
So her story is untruthful?
She told the truth, the Government lied. The usual bullshit.
Was Jessica Lynch being medically treated at the hospital or getting tortured?
Pretty sure she was just there but was left alone or necessarily being treated but I heard they didn’t do anything to her so didn’t get tortured or anything like that.
@@Chazb369Andy stumpf implied she was raped but the majority of her injuries are from the initial crash. I think he talks about it on a jre episode

@@06raimondishe really wasn’t
@@06raimondi he’s just being dramatic trying to sound all cool and make it way worse than it was. As far as I know from the actual rescue op they didn’t even encounter any enemy’s and she was pretty much fine just banged up and was brought to that hospital where they “rescued” casually walked in and got her out. I wasn’t there but there’s plenty of real footage of the rescue and don’t forget the whole point was for the media to use it as American propaganda yes I love our country but we do have our propaganda. They propped her up to be some war hero that was rescued meanwhile nobody knows or gives a fuck about the others who died in the accident along side her. Big mess and made up to be something that it isn’t. Her vehicle got attacked. She lived. Brought to hospital. We get her from hospital. She goes home and there’s fckn parades for her and she’s blasted all over the media. For what?? Living? How about the other heroes who actually died. No here’s a cute looking female soldier she’s PERFECT for our machine! Literally vaught from The Boys.
👍
And to this day she is still drpping
Why were you wearing MOPP gear ?? .............
Well, if there's one thing that doesn't change, is the Ranger regt and stupidity. Those commanders never cease to amaze me with their planning/preparation part of a mission... It's fairly simple... the one third two third rule...
The Army gave her a Bronze Star for being a scared crybaby that refused to defend herself.
Wasn't she knocked out? Not sure how to defend yourself when you're knocked out?! 🤷🏾
@@kenzisdad02because she DIDNT defend herself, she was caught up in an ambush and it is perfectly normal to freeze up in a situation like that. But for some reason the army decided to use this as a psyop and paint her as Rambo who fought till her last round
@user-gt5me3nf6b I thought her friend crashed the Humvee trying to escape? I know she never fired a shot and the gov tried to paint her as a hero.... But I didn't know she ever had a chance to engage?
@@kenzisdad02 exactly, also doesn’t make sense the way the US army tried to paint it aswell, she was ambushed but for some odd reason tried to make it seem she ‘did everything’ she could

Ya'll do know this story has been blown way out of proportion by now, everyone tells a different story looking for fame, and 99% of people claiming to be there were not within eyesight of the scene. I'm so tired of this crap. I will be honest, I don't believe a word these soldiers say at this point not a word. Humans just can't help themself they lie their ass off. @ 5:00 I knew for sure this man is lying, no fk'ing way they talked like this to a superior I don't care what was going on. These podcasts just give platforms for bullsh*t and y'all eat it up and the podcast dude makes a lot of cash.
I worked in animal Rendering, I can tell you I have smelled it all.
How long are you going to drag these out? Man is struggling for content.
The Army mantra, "hurry up and wait'
You should have had South Africa or the French doing the work there as they are the only Armies or countries that can make war in Africa.
I believe the USA had their behinds handed to them a couple of time in Africa.
The Brits got their shit pushed in fighting in Africa too.
really...hmmm
And what does digging up bodies have anything to do with Jessica? This is a sad story for sure, but relevance, please?
I think maybe something went down before and those graves were maybe because of that, unfortunately I experienced some awful stuff doing security for the Red Cross in Bosnia, and mistakes are made that resulted in situations like that, I couldn’t believe how the world watched when teenagers and men were getting bussed into the forests, I believe preventable, with the AirPower and available units, I got so close to that and was in a scuffle, I still thought it was going to be stopped
They were her teammates
What y'all should REALLY pay attention to is that this guy says the hypocrisy of the Colonel in shorts was worse than what they dug up. This guy is weak. We ALL wore our charcoal when we crossed North. Yes, Officers do their own thing; my XO flipped out on me and cost me my rank, our CO disobeyed direct orders to take shelter during an incoming mortar raid and got the Purple Heart for the resulting injury, and our West Point graduate was just casually looking around and trying to figure out what the *plink* *plink* *plink* was around him during his first fire fight! "Integrity means doing what's right; even when no one is looking." That was up on our Company wall, and I'm sure some of you guys had it too. It doesn't matter what someone else is doing, you have your orders. Does it suck? Yes. Will that Colonel be the first to die in a chem attack? Yes. Drink water and shut up, soldier.

JESSICA LYNCH HAS BEEN SHOWN TO BE A LITTLE HUSSY,PICTURES CAME OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE OF HER PLAYING VOLLEYBALL TOPLESS WHILE ON DUTY.
Super disturbing.
I'm going to need to see this evidence for myself, alone.

Ok doesn’t mean let her die in a foreign country. All caps makes it seem like ur mad she got saved 😂
Never shall i leave a fallen comrade. Until democrats took over the military
And what also makes me sick about trying to force women into combat roles is the Rangers Special Forces two women that have stated they did not complete the course like previous all male classes before them
How does any of this explain anything about the title of the video? Wtf am I missing here?!!!
what does sink in they never sent any rescue attempt until the woman got captured and after the men soldiers died
At the end of the day we should have never been there and no US troops should have made the ultimate sacrifice for nothing. It breaks my heart so many died for a lie. I think the Iraq invasion changed America and made many of us question why should we be loyal to a government that deceived us and threw so many lives away like they were nothing.
