Yep, timing made a gigantic difference for me. C6 Grand Sport on 13-15 psi boost, running 10 degrees at 5200 rpm (torque peak) up to 15 degrees at 6700 rpm. On E85, I can run 18 degrees at torque peak and 22 at 6700. HP Tuners shows the torque PID is maxed out, can't reliably estimate HP that method but it should be over 1,000 at the crank. You can feel the difference easily when putting in the E85. Super fun.
Yes sir! There's other PIDs to log for estimated Tq. I log two the delivered engine tq which is the one that peaks at 640 and trans engine tq which won't stop at 640 on the scanner.
Have a lot of stock block videos so not sure which one specifically. But if it's the fox body that car is still going strong. I just haven't been able to go to the track lately with them since they're a little over a 6 hour round trip from me. The owner/builder of that car also has a youtube if you want to follow his progress more in depth his channel is nigel stst
It was hot. When I got on the dyno it was 89 out but the humidity made it worse but in the base it was in the 90s and at the end was 102-103 it sucked. I went to the track Thursday and Thursday ended up being the hottest day of the week this week. Did the 5gen z28 have a special diff? I'm running the 3.45 out of a manual 5gen ss but it has the posi mod done to the LSD.
@@andrewd843 in still learning. I have a 2016 SS sedan 6MT and I want to run 3.91s. I think the ZL1 or 1LE diffs need the spare tire compartment trimmed to fit in the SS sedan. But either the camaro SS or Z28 diff is better than the Stock SS sedan diff and is a direct swap just add the truetrac. I dont know.. that's why I asked.
@@burtgummerVerified zl1 diffs aren't a straight swap. The 1le 3.90 is a straight swap. I've had a camaro diff for along time now. Our stock diff started to suck years ago so I did a camaro 3.27 diff. Then broke that and went to a camaro 3.45.
Thanks for sharing Andrew. I like seeing and collecting data so this is cool to see real numbers.
Thanks for checking it out!

@@sniperpronerfmods9811 anytime! I always try to make sure my videos of his car cover different things vs his videos so it's not the same thing twice.
Love the info. Glad you're doing well.
Its hotter than satan's armpit here too🥵
Are you running a Z28 diff with a trutrac?
