The main thing about this patch is that it was a deathball counter. But right now its either a 25min stomp or a 45-1h standstill, I really liked the state of the game before November where it was 30-40mins but it felt balanced (post shiv nerf)
The game seems to be in one of the worst states I've seen. I have been held hostage for 45-60 minutes in most of my games before on average were 25-35 minutes
i’m in phantom and checked my last games only one lasted over 40 minutes out of my last 3 pages bro and it was 40 minutes 2 seconds most games end at the thirty minute mark
i feel like the snowball intention did the opposite this update. Played roughly 10 games today and 9 of them ended in 20mins or less. I feel like once a team takes towers they just run straight through your base. I wish you would get time off your death counter if all towers are taken so you have a chance to defend at least 1 time.
@@spazalicious5208 they changed how melee behaves when someone is dashing, labelled under '- Improved various issues with Heavy Melee vs Dash/Parry when there is latency', although this is was really poorly done. Even when I play at sub 20 ping, my melees only register client side and not server side so no damage done
I've noticed that when I dash several meters away from a heavy melee I don't get hit anymore like I used to, so I've been happy with whatever they did lol
Nerfing anti heal is okay but nerfing healing again is dumb as fuck , now playing full talk means shit if a haze can wipe out 4k of your hp in 4 seconds or less

to add on, I wouldn’t be mad if these were close matches but even ones where my team is getting stomped are stalled by the anti snowball features. It doesn’t result in defenders catching up when you’re caught in a bad team comp / can’t win team fights or secure urns or mid
@@tret6362 I've noticed a huge increase in match times too. Wipe the team then not able to end for another 10 mins because of the respawn timer decrease on patron
As was mentioned in video, we are playtesters. They change, we test. They collect data, we report. Or don't, but there is no such goal to please playtesters. The game is in development and our job is to find out what works best according to valve's plans. Even though we don't know the plans, even though we are not paid with money but pure fun from the game.
How about Guardians not being such a worthless statue, and actually having peripheral vision too. Wraith, Haze, Bebop, Kelvin…all can push guardians with sub 10k souls, easily. Meanwhile other heroes have to build to even push a guardian or walker until north of 8-10k.
You’re right you totally can’t have yamatos ult permanently for like 4k in items and she actually doesn’t get completely nullified by an ability like vind crow which doesn’t have more soul value for a lower cooldown
I like the game, but I'll play it when the game releases and balance patches slow down once they get to a point where the game is stable. I hate learning how to play, fight, and position myself just for that to change without my knowledge because I don't stick my nose in balance patches every update. I don't dislike the play testing, I just can't personally bring myself to play in the middle of all of it.
I used to play a couple of games every day after work and 5-7 games on weekends for ranked. But lately I failed in keeping up with every change in the meta. At one point my main simply became 2-3 times weaker and even with the new recommended builds I couldn't contribute enough to matches. After that I realized that the game was becoming like a second job, so I just deleted it. Deadlock was fun for me, but not anymore. Maybe I'll return later, when it ends alpha and becomes more stable.
Used to main Abrams when I was stoned and say "there's a new glitch where Abrams can't die" when people raged.

I don't know how people say these games go on too short I've been in hundreds of games already and most are 40+ minutes
High elo games tend to be shorter, lower elo games tend to be longer because people do not understand how to end and don't play for win conditions

I had a game where every1 was at 30k and a vindicta was at 60k farm. They have broken the matchmaking too

metal skin and deflect bullets being the items that shut down haze as a hero entirely, start building them
