      Yes they did. I live in Denver, I’m only 5 hours from Chama. Been there and rode 484, but raining and cold end of September 2021.

    Nice run to film. I am putting the finishing touches on a few new kits along the Cumbres & Toltec, such as Cumbres Pass, Osier, and Sublette structures. Glad you got a chance to take this trip. - Mike McCarville

    it is specificaly 3 ft narrow gauge. Cape Gauge (the narrow gauge used in Japan and parts of africa) is 3ft 6in gauge.

    • @TheTrainFreak
      @TheTrainFreak  10 дней назад

      Yes, it is exactly 3 foot in gauge. There might of been some logging RR's that used 3'6" but I wouldn't know of any from the top of my head.

    • @TheTrainFreak
      @TheTrainFreak  5 месяцев назад +1

      I honestly don't remember. It was a buffet but I do remember them posting it on their website. Food IMHO was really good and they also had Vegan options for those with food allergies.

    So the locomotive in the video is 484 but where is 488, 463 and 489

    • @TheTrainFreak

      To my understanding, they are rotated but I'm sure there is more information online.

      488 and 463 are in service. 489 is being put back together after getting work on its running gear and a new firepan.
