I've made your chickpea quesadillas, lentils, cheese sauce, cauliflower soup, white bean soup, and pumpkin pasta. You've taught me about bouquet garni and gremolata (gremolata changed my life. I'd eat it with a tire if I could). I've owned cookbooks from Alinea, El Bulli, Noma, etc. I've spent mortgages on cookbooks. Those places in which it'll take 5 years to find an ingredient and 10 years to be bumped off the waitlist for dining. But did I ever cook from them? No. Your recipes are the ones I wait for and repeatedly return to. Can't wait for your next cookbook.Take all the downtime you need. We fans of yours (diehard loyalists) will always be here. :)

I loved this recipe! I used the components to make a “burger” by adding the herby sauce to both buns and added the other elements in addition to some tomato slices. Super easy and delicious. Thanks for sharing! ❤️

Made the “easy sweet potato Dal” from your book today. Sooo good hubby liked it too and he does not usually eat sweet potato. Fabulous for this very cold day.
here is a challenge, do a grocery shopping list for a meal plan for the month with all the ingredients that someone would need (spices and dry ingredients) and the weeky meal plan and shopping list for the week. For someone that is new with indian recipes it is hard to figure out what spices the is must buys.

I appreciate the transcript. I have a hearing disability and I am always rewinding to get the exact wording but don’t have to here! Mahalo from Hilo, Hawaii. We have a wonderful farmers market. I am on a low carb, diabetic vegan diet, to control my cholesterol without drugs, ha ha. I think this recipe is better for dietetics than pasta dishes. Like you, a vegan diet has transformed my creativity in my cooking.

I use my salad spinner for my tofu and canned vegan beans
