This is as clear as mud to me. I just want to carry on with my original layout. But now I can't get into my kaptop because a screen has appeared saying LET'S GET YOU SET UP WITH MICROSOFT EDGE and I cant get rid of it. I'm 80 years old and was perfectly happy without😢😢
I have a new Gateway slim laptop and when I am online I move the mouse and for some reason the video or article I am viewing all of the sudden expands to take the whole screen and Ii exit out of the browser and click back on and its b ack to normal

So I play roblox in my computer and one day I logged off and got on internet wasent working on it was on it tho and i held the power button thinking it will reset it and den it showed Microsoft ege and my internet still doesn’t work on roblox pls help
What you also need to know, Netflix does not work .. It works with any other browser but not with Edge. Even with all extensions disabled Netflix will not work.
Hi Dutch, Not sure where you are based. But given your inquiry i have just checked. We are based in the UK and Ireland. Just checked there. Netflix is running perfectly through the browser (Edge). @@MicrosoftExpertZoneUKI Thanks! I'm based in the Netherlands. The Netflix Microsoft store app works fine, not a problem with the app at all. And I must apologise, I just found out my VPN was the culprit and not Edge. I have disabled my Surfshark VPN and Netflix is working fine, I hope this will help other Netflix users that have a problem when using MS Edge, try disabling your VPN. Not sure why this is the case since I whitelisted Netflix within the VPN and other browsers don't seem to have this issue, but it is what it is at this point.
I hate microsoft edge. I have removed the browser. I have also taken steps to stop it reinstalling on my machine. The reason why I don't like it? They don't give you the choice to uninstall it. It is forced on you if you use windows. I am suspicious of Microsofts motive for not giving you the choice to uninstall the browser. I have no app to open it but even now it still tries to force it's way back on to my system. I have to restart my computer to get rid of this stubborn pain in the arse. What ever the reason maybe, it's not going to be for the consumers benefit. It may be a commercial reason but I feel there is something more sinister going on. Microsoft obviously do not learn from history that things that are forced on people are usually not for their benefit. I control my machine and what goes on it. I refuse to be dictated to by any corporation.
