I've been a big chrome fan for over a decade, with the recent upgrade of my computer and my operating system to windows 10/11, noticing Edge made me curious about if it is indeed better (because the design looked much cleaner and appealing to me), with the recent videos about this browser you sure proved it is superior, at least in my opinion haha. Thanks so much for these useful videos! You're great!
Thanks to you, I also switched to Edge, in my private as well as my business enviornment. Thank you Leila and Team for constantly putting out awesome and - even more importantly - useful content.
Only thing I wish if Edge could remember the page number of the PDF file that I opened last time using it. That way we can start reading the PDF file from where we left at.
As usual a very useful video from you. Thank you Leila for introducing these Edge features. I am sure all of them will come in handy sometime or the other for many people. Would you kindly enlighten me on the following. 1. Comparison between favourites, collections and tab groups 2. Comparative impact of 1.) on the performance of the browser ie. RAM usage 3. What are the downsides of the features introduced in the video that users should be mindful of. Thank you
What a fantastic video on Edge. MS did a great job moving to chromium, but they've added so much that Edge is really the best out there. It feels fresh, and the additional features work so well. I had no idea there was an edge task manager - Thanks for that - I no longer have to close Edge when a tab hangs - that will save me so much time. Love it. Your videos are amazing and so helpful. This was a very beneficial sub!! Wishing you the best in all you do!! Roll on 3 mill subs!!
Edge has been my default browser for more than one year and your tips have just enhanced what I will be able to do. I have found Edge a little difficult to navigate in the mobile version, so I hope you come out with video about the using the mobile version of Edge. Keep making us more efficient with your videos - thank you!!
I love #1, Organize your ideas with collections. It's like an easy Evernote or OneNote! I love watching your videos. You're so professional and easy to listen to. Keep up the great work!
I switched to Edge because of your last video "Why I prefer edge to chrome" and post seeing this I'll never go back in fact the features you have highlighted are amazing and so useful. For me, two features will add more to my productivity which are (grouping) & (profiles switching) Also for us as a large enterprise, managing edge updates via WSUS is way better than managing chrome updates... So that made us switch recently to Edge across our enterprise.
Wow! By far, you are one of the best presenters I have come across. Very clear and such a great voice. You are very easy to understand. I am making the switch to Edge because of your presentation.
Holy diver! The different profiles tip was the most useful. I now have three Edge icons. One for my private sites, one for my day job sites and one for my consultant sites. No longer do I have to jump in and out of Microsoft 365 accounts and HCL Connections accounts. Brilliant! And thank you for showing us the group and vertical tabs functions!
Vertical Tab is one the most useful feature, when so many tabs got open, other tabs won't get small icon sized, rather we get nice scrollable list of Tabs 👍
Nice video very useful for a fellow EDGE user. My favorite feature is bookmarking web pages and moving them around like a file. Also like the PDF view in browser and highlighting text.
I spent a fair about of time setting up Edge tabs only to find that when you close Edge they all disappear. I was able to "restore pages" and get them back until I eventually lost them all. Too bad MS didn't allow for their persistence! I'll not be using those again. That being said, perhaps I overlooked a setting that I should have set in order to maintain the tabs.....if so, I'd appreciate hearing more about that. However, thank you much for all of your tips and how-to's...I've found them very helpful.
Humbled!! I thought I was using all or most of the features of Edge. Apparently there is more functionality to Collections. I love collections. Thanks for Browser Task Manager, Math Solver and Tab groups. I love the Friendly URL. I have switched to Edge for the most part.
Outstanding, Leila! I've been using Edge as one of my browsers for quite a while, but I just learned 5 new things here, thank you :) I must read up on Profiles, that could be very handy for me. While I knew about Collections, I haven't used them-your demo was very impressive, looks a great feature. To date my favorite aspect of Edge is that it opens some sites my other browsers choke on-of course, long may that continue.
I love your videos, you bring us useful information that can be applied immediately. I am so thankful for this video; about five of the features I actually need to use forthwith. I am still in the process of migrating to Edge full-time, but thanks to you, I use it much more often than previously, and it's great. Keep up the great work. 💓💓💓
Wow fantastic video. I will start using Collections right away, since it seems a better way to organise favorites etc. than just folder in the favorite bar.
That's it, 1st thing in the morning at work I'm switching to Edge. Screenshot annotation for me! Thanks so much for giving us this video. Humble subscriber xx
Thank you for the great tips. I am looking forward a new video for automating Edge using Excel VBA. I miss using my Excel utility I had for filling out forms in Explorer.
Wow, can't thank you enough Leila! You have given me a real "Edge" in using this latest browser with it's super cool features! Collections and PDF annotation is going to be most useful for me specially! 😊👍
Another useful thing I found was if I copy a large volume of data (like a paragraph or a page) from Edge to MS Word, it doesn't bring up any garbage as opposed to other pdf readers like Adobe or Firefox wherein they separate each copied line with a tab and I had to spend time in removing those unnecessary tabs. Edge is smart enough to realize that all lines in a paragraph are to be separated by a space instead of a tab which is super helpful.
I must admit, I have only just started using Edge and am already a fan! I am especially thrilled with the built-in Reader Mode function with its very cool options! (And I was hunting high and low for browser add-ons for chrome this week). Well, I will be spending more time with Edge, thank you!
Sections, math solver & hyperlink features are my favourite, came to know from your video. Thanks Leila, very useful video. I am now a fan of edge, after seeing your videos
5 years on......I'm still enjoying your videos. I have learnt lot, and as the saying goes....learning never stops..... These unemployed days.....I'm still learning.
You convinced me to switch with the last Edge video. I really like vertical tabs but the fly-out is a little too sensitive to open when you don't mean to open it because you moved your cursor a little too close to the edge. One feature in Chrome that Edge does not have is with History. If you accidentally close Edge when there is another of those little popup windows still open, when you open Edge the next time you find all the tabs from your last session are not there because it opens to the last open window (usually some ad or useless stuff). You then have to go back to History and reopen each tab (you wanted to reopen with the new session) one at a time. I often have fifteen or twenty tabs saved to go back to later. In Chrome, you do lose your session like in Edge but under their History those are all grouped together and you can reopen all the tabs with one click. No big deal. With Edge, a big deal...and pain. I wonder if Edge Collections will save and reopen each one under each collection. Thanks for all your hard work and clear and concise teaching, Leila.
Great video. May I suggest that while using the right click features, Edge should also show a tab showing the complete list of its capabilities to choose from for easy access and not just random clicks on icons around the page...
In the Enterprise, Edge integrates with your SharePoint Online environment and M365 licensing. The Edge search window will not only search online resources, but it can also show you results from your SharePoint tenant. Also, the Edge homescreen / new tab can be set to show things like upcoming dates in your Outlook, what recent documents you've been in, and other notable things around your Enterprise.
Very well-organized and clear presentation of some important features that I didn't know about and that will be very helpful to me. I gave this video a much-deserved "Like." Thanks!
*Do you know that since you released this video, I never left Edge anymore?* Either it is on my Windows, on my MacBook Pro or even on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Its ability to synchronize itself it way beyond my imagination. Thank you for this life changing video, thank you. Again, Congratulations for your 1M subscribers. I've been with you since you were just around less than 100K, here you are now. Continue what you do, it is marvelous.
I know you prefer edge over chrome. There are also other good browsers, can you make browser comparison? Like, brave vs opera vs Pale Moon vs Edge vs firefox... Is privacy is a myth?
Opera is so bad at privacy, I don't know the moon one but Vivaldi, Firefox and Brave are the best option for privacy. Edge itself is much more private than opera yandex and chrome
Many thanks for these great tips! There is one thing however that I try to solve for a while now: How to change the web app icon, e.g. when it is pinned to Start? Sometimes Edge doesn‘t select a meaningful icon or uses the same icon for several apps. So, it would really be useful to be able to change the app icon. Many thanks again!
Past Friendly URL is a great feature, helps a lot in the day to day tasks to reference links to others. It was the main reason I'm trying to make edge the first choice
When Edge first came out it was slow and bloated, reminded me of the time I had to carry a refrigerator up a flight of stairs. Now it's gotten much lighter and faster, way better user experience. I've started using it over Chrome as well. Thanks for the Videos!
thanks ma'am i was just hating edge for not having group tab which i loved in chrome i have been using edge for a lot of time but was pissed that it didnt had taht group tab feature thank you for your help maam

My favorite feature is the ability to browse the Internet. 👍🏻😎
I had no idea it could do that
Thanks for this Top Tip! 😆
#protip
Wow! This changed my entire view about technology
Thanks, you just changed my mind.
I have doubts with Edge, but now you encouraged me to give it a try ; ), like always, your videos are just great, thanks
Edge is really epic, ngl.
Thank you Leila! Because of you Edge is my default browser. ❤️❤️❤️
Me too!
Me too!
I'm also in the line😂😅

It Shouldn't be forced feature but there must be an option to remember my page or etc.
l have the same concern.
Suggest it to Microsoft feedback. I suggested password lock on one note on mobile apps and Microsoft implemented it a year later.

Yet another great video from Leila that has me convinced to stick with edge 😀😀😀
Another Great video! I will be keen to hear more about screenshots annotation.

Falling in love with edge 😍💕
Vertical Tab is one the most useful feature, when so many tabs got open, other tabs won't get small icon sized, rather we get nice scrollable list of Tabs 👍
Google is really slacking and Microsoft is getting serious about improving web browsing. I had no idea about this but it's soooo good!
Nice video very useful for a fellow EDGE user. My favorite feature is bookmarking web pages and moving them around like a file. Also like the PDF view in browser and highlighting text.
Great video!
Did anyone else pause the video and go look at that resort in Italy? I miss travel

I was a Google Chrme fan. You have changed my perception. From now on I am going to give Edge a try. Thanks for the insightful video

I just discovered your channel today and I have spent the last 3 hours watching your videos. Thank you for the tip and resources provided.
Awesome! Thank you!
Tab groups are very cool. Chrome has this as well and it can be a sanity saver. Works literally the exact same way (same steps)
