Something that has worked for me is to just find things to keep you busy. Spend more time on academics, work, service to community, hobbies, etc. surprisingly fulfilling.
If you’re struggling with this though and need a slower start, I recommend music. Instead of scrolling, turn on a playlist or set up a queue of music for how long you feel like scrolling and put your phone down. You can read, doodle, do puzzles, etc while you’re listening, and at the start even play games on your phone. This is what I’ve done and I’ve significantly reduced my screen time while still being what some would call unproductive
I actually do it both at the same time coming and Netflix, scrolling motivation in breaks between studying, RUclips when I'm getting ready. I'm actually scared.
There is a feature where RUclips doesn't recommend you any videos. I DON'T know the name but if you probably Google something like RUclips no video recommendations you will find it
Try deleting it on your phone but keep it on your other devices. You still have access to RUclips but since it's less convenient to use another device you'll start using it less
Here is how to calculate the percentage of time. 1. Convert the hours into minutes. 2. Find the chosen percentage of that number 3. Convert that into hours/minutes
Gohar, your channel is a hidden treasure, my life changed after knowing it, you really have very smart ideas and the way you explain things is so simple, I'll support you till the end thank you very much for being existed ❤

It actually takes ~30 days to build a habit, so try doing it in slower, ~2/3 week increments. That and keep the final timer length for at least 2/3 weeks. Then it becomes a habit and boom, no more phone addiction!
It would be better if you summed up all in one unit, like there are 11 hours total and did the percent decrease in increments of 10 like you did for that, you could use the time for what you wanted and got aloted because it just wouldn’t be for those apps and the proportions that they got in the beginning
If i lived in a first world country that has at least a sidewalk and a green grass field i can walk on, or a friend to hangout and talk with all day, i wouldn't be locked up in my room staring at my phone all day...
That requires a little motivation, I have none of that.
