Common misunderstanding is that the wifi connects to the home's wifi. It's basically a blutooth between the camera and the phone. Home internet speed has no bearing.

Sir, i have the same/similar device. The hang-up I am having is when i press record. The device ersases or forgets the other other videos I've filmed. Now, when I press stop record. The device continues to record Now what about the icons in the top, right corner of the screen? I interpret these to mean mode or function, i cannot get multiple recordings. Is it the loop feature? From what I understand the loop feature will override your first video/picture if you run out of storage on your SD card while you are filming or taking a picture of something.
I connect to mine through the app but when I push to play a video the camera shuts off and then I have to connect all over again. It's done this three times
Just bought this. Its my first action camera. How long will the batteries last if you are using wifi? Also, might be a dumb question, do you keep the pastic tab in the battery?
True or false: out of the box, the camera cannot…. a) receive power from a non-battery source? b) send its video view streamed live in real time to a separate recoding device? c) send stream to separate streaming device for live streaming on facebook, RUclips etc?
Guess I'm not smart enough. Just bought this little guy and can't get the camera to connect to my internet. WI-FI indicator flashes but never goes solid. All the APP shows on my Android phone is internet won't connect. What am I doing wrong??
You don't connect to your internet, you connect your phone to the wifi signal of the camera (in wifi settings, ACTION CAM will show as an option once you've put the camera in wifi mode as shown above. 1) put camera in wifi mode (make sure you have good charge if trying to download video, otherwise plug into a power source) 2) put phone on the wifi signal from the camera 3) go to app and select what you want. I read that it's better to just download the videos instead of trying to view them through the app but I can't attest to this.
Got the camera to connect to my wifi, however, when I open the App it says OFFLINE no matter what I click on. The App seems to be sub standard even worthless. Also, I haven't installed a micro sd card yet, not sure if that has something to do with it but according to other reviews, they are having the same offline App issue ! Any fixes out there ! Want to use it for a desk cam.
You do need a card for the app to "read". However, I still got an error message and all I did was uninstall and reinstall the app. Worked fine the 2nd time. It's still tricky though. I wish they'd fix the app AND make the camera readable as a USB with MAC computers. My computer doesn't see it at all. SMH

I can say that I have an 18 minute video. Not sure if that's a settings issue, card size issue, both?
