    Is the app able to function/ display sensor data offline?

    How accurate is the temperature reading. i'd like to see a comparrison between temperature readouts on the expensive thermal cam you have and this one. Usually if it's that small you can't really put a lot of technology inside it there has to be something that's lacking on the small little camera. Then run a USB extension cable to the interior and plug into a phone or tablet. I use a snake camera with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 that sells for around $200 and suspect this would also work. You might need to find or fabricate a weather proof housing. The tablet might even work as a HUD with a semi-mirrored screen if the app allows image reversal. Good luck!

    DOES NOT WORK with new Iphones. The connector is for lightning ports

      It comes with a type c connector, which is the new standard for iPhones, and the same connector I used for my Samsung.

      @@GreyManPrepping and that worked for your iPhone??? I assumed one said android and one said iPhone (options they gave) was also due to the operating system. I ask because if you have an iPhone and you ordered the android option because of the USB C connector and it worked, I will just send back the one I bought “for iPhones” that came with a lightning port and get the android one for my iPhone 15

    sweet video, you had me 90% sold with your footage. i have been wanting one of these for like 10 years, and it appears that they can finaly do everything i want, i want to look at circuit boards, fuse boxes, warm foot steps, people in the woods, birds in the trees, live stock in the fields, the outside and inside of our homes for hvac purposes, my wired for my solar pv system and battery bank/inveter and the until i ordered came with a gun mount. when you showed the jet going over head i was like yep, this may be what i am getting.
    i have a pretty good size drone. i may mount the camera and a small phone on it and remote into the phone to access the infrared camera and app, but that manual focus could prove to be a problem in this application. but i got to start some where.
    i had to dig a bit to find the android version but i found it and the discount code worked too, the camera kit i chose was $429.99, the discount code was for $42 off, so a tad under $400 plus tax, will be here tomorrow
    thanks again

    Thats not Infrared its thermal.

  • @bingothelegend
    @bingothelegend Год назад +2

    The reason this technology is so cheap is because of the delay. True thermal optics have no delay or very very little delay. The delay is problem with walking, driving, and or shooting. You can not walk or drive with the delay for obvious reasons. The hunting aspect is completely unethical because by the time you pull the trigger the thing you shot at could have moved possibly causing a glancing non legal shot or it could make you miss and hit the baby or insert example. That delay is small but is a complete game changer.

      Yes, but for instance in building industry, just a couple of years ago people run around with 10 times more expensive but not less delayed heat cameras detecting heat leaks and made a living out of it. 😀
