You can see how Loki spoke to Thor and told him the things he always wanted to hear from his father, it shows that even as much as Loki says he hates Thor, Thor is the only thing that makes him a god, that and Frigga
@Abhay Thakur Conversation was with Loki. Even creators revelated that.... That, how he don't want that hammer was that one little easter egg, because he cant take it.... Loki is extremly inteligent and he know his father and mother even better than Thor, he know best, what will father say to Loki, if Odin was here...... But, there is plot...Loki is based on lore better man, than his adoptive father "Odin was", Odin was still hartless ruler, but he want peace and he change his way of life, but he is still same.. Loki is in heart very good man, who want to be bad, just to achive his goals. But he hate it.... He in trully love his brother and mother lot more, than Odin was...
And mother in Norse mythology he wants turned himself into a mare to get the attention of a stallion but sadly sorry I got a bit too interested and impregnated Loki he gave birth to an eight-legged horse and also lucky was married to a woman called Seeger and they had two children but sadly they were used in loki's punishment don't ask me why look up look it up on RUclips or Google
Maybe at this moment in time but remember, he finally gets to bond with Loki like he always wanted to middle way through Ragnarok and in the beginning of Infinity War.
I feel like we needed SO MANY more of these sorta Loki moments because at the end of the day it's these very moments his character shines on the most. He's crazily unpredictable, powerfully deceptive, and cunning. At every moment you're secure of something, someone, only for there to be a major twist and you realize it's all Loki's doing / himself. Like ok, Loki semi sacrificed himself, touched Thor's heart, died on a good note. Here you have Odin have a heartwarming talk with Thor, Thor walks away happy, only for us the fans to realize that it was truly Loki giving you that big ass WTF, making you wonder "What the hell!!!! You just died! And how are you here when you died ELSEWHERE! AND WHERE'S OR WHAT HAPPENED TO ODIN?! " They're moments that at the first time really leave you shocked cuz as the movie ends, Loki, on the throne of Asgard, WITHOUT THOR OR ODIN, to stop him???? That's some marvelous planning on Loki's part. God I wished we had more of these mindblower sorta moments before he died. 😓
Someone ought to tell Thor, that he needs to play the game in order to change the game. If he were to accept the crown maybe the net brutality and violence would decrease in the realms due to his actions.
I've heard it argued that one cannot change a system as part of it; by adhering to its rules. Better to replace it than to compromise one's principles long enough to fix what's broken. What if Thor had come to like the power of the throne?
I don’t believe he could have though which is why he didn’t accept the hammer as that would have been a dead give away due to his unworthiness. He may act as king but still has no where near the power of Odin himself evidenced in Thor 3 when Thor forces him to reveal his true self.
@@goobot1 I think, he can lift that with telekinesis, because for lift you need hand, but with telekinesis you can manipulated with it... And Loki is extremly powerfull in that.... He can get thor hammer, use telekinesis and it will looks, like he holding it, but i think, he was little bit afraid, because he can risk it don't work and he was not achive his full potential..
The average person (most of you) here in the comments carries the spirit of Loki, yet unaware of the extend of your own multi-level existence. Therefore, humanity has already been sentenced, similar to what you see in this clip, to a destiny of relentless warfare of nations, deceitful iniquity, religious hypocrisy, random killings, social strife, friendly betrayal, spiritual abandonment, and the smell and taste of death until a point of earthly finality.
because Thor is asking to be excluded from line of succession. For that, he has to be expelled from royal family, therefore Odin is meant to excommunicate him. In which case he is not supposed to praise him afterwards (or speak in good way about him publicly overall). Thor is essentially asking to be banished again.
Damn... Odin's best moment as a father was actually done by Loki in disguise.
I love how Loki played off taking back Mjonir. Odin could have held it but Loki could not so he “let” Thor keep it.

Who knew Loki could be a good father?
Fenrir.
LOKI IS TRYING HARDER AND HARDER TO LEARN HOW TO BE A REAL and BETTER GOD.

“It belongs to you, if you’re worthy of it”... he new he couldn’t lift it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So mischevious
Is it just me, or does Thor seem to love Loki more when he thinks his brother is dead?
everyone's like that though
@@deus.angelus that's pretty cynical. But I have to agree.
Well I mean, loki alive caused more stress and problems than anything to thor. When he thinks he's dead, all that's left is the brotherly love.
Maybe at this moment in time but remember, he finally gets to bond with Loki like he always wanted to middle way through Ragnarok and in the beginning of Infinity War.
It’s because he realises what his brother truly means to him

2:11 Is it weird that as Thor turns to leave, the voice that immediately comes to my head is Edna Mode? "NO CAPES!"
Edna?
Yes that is super strange
not weird at all. It only demonstrates you are an Incredibles fan. Nothing wrong with that. It is a good movie
Loki loves to become Captain America and odin 🤣😂
The only thing i hated on this twist is how they butcher it in Ragnarok
Loki sound like Odin..hela wasn't wrong
that are some hilarious reminders from the movies
Are we sure Thor isn't the adopted one?
😂😂😂😂@@foldabotZ
"When you speak do I never hear mother's voice?"
Say what you will about the movie overall, but this final exchange, twist and all, is really good

I wish it was Odin. Such a lost opportunity.
NGL I hate how they brought Loki back
such a wholesome convo between odin and thor. I wish it wasnt loki lmao
The greatest scene ever
The fact that Loki didn't take away Thor's power even when he could have

Loki is no way near that powerful. It's only an illusion.
He can't lift the hammer
He couldn’t which is why he told him to keep it

This is still one of the best endings the mcu had. Imo made up for any misses in the film and gave me hope for the third one.
Again, Thor falls for Loki's illusions. Which doesn't take him until the beginning of the next movie to find out.

It’s like Loki has 3 lives
The only reason he let Thor keep the hammer because he knew he couldn't lift it but Odin can so Thor would have found out
Tywin: Keep it. A one-eyed man with no family needs all the help he can get.
I'm sorry what? Did people say that Thor has no arc in this movie? I guess if they added a fart joke people might have noticed.

Yeah! I’ll do you one better! Who is Odin!
I’ll do _you_ one better! WHY is Odin!
Odin is at Planet Earth same place Thor loves after he overthrown banished and cursed by Loki thus disguising of him and seizing control of Asgard
why couldn't odin wish thor good fortune
It’s not Odin
@@tahaymvids1631 I know that but thor responded by saying in know you cant
Fortune isn't something that you can wish and it happens.
Because he's speaking as King and not as Thor's father. But then it's double layered as it turns out it's not Odin at all.
