Well Magy, earth is always in the middle of everything because it is "Midgard", middle earth, the middle of the nine realms. It literally is in the middle of everything.
If that final kissing scene at the end of the movie looked extra passionate, that's because it was real. That was Hemsworth's wife playing Jane Foster. They figured since no one would see her face anyway, just put a wig over her blonde hair & go for it. Micro spoiler: she's in the next Thor film too & if you don't blink you will see her face for a second.
This was a blast to watch with you ladies. One question is indeed what will Loki do while on the throne but a better question could be.. Where is Odin?
That scene with the scientist guy Selvig running around naked wasn't actually in the script. The actor (Stellan Skarsgård) had just been out on a night of very heavy drinking - I tell you man, those Swedes you can't take them anywhere! - and was eventually apprehended by Police. Fortunately several bystanders recorded the events with their phones, and the footage was worked into the movie.
Kenneth branagh, who directed the first Thor, mentioned that he was unsure how to bring up the shirtless scenes to Chris because he didn't know whether he'd want to do it, but when he did ask, Chris was like 'of course I'm taking my shirt off. I haven't done all this work for nothing'
"I want that! I want that scenery! I want to wake up or get to bed with that." Only Magy knows if she's talking about the view from the window or Chris Hemsworth. We call those Doubles in rap lyrics. Magy proving herself a lyrical rapper.
Hi Magy, I really liked the reaction you gave to the movie. You girls are both great. I hope to continue enjoying your reactions. Thanks for your videos 😊😊😊
That Rock creature Thor kills is an important teaser for what's to come. I COULD be wrong, but I think this rock creature is a call out to the Animated Marvel Movie Planet Hulk. Which is a Movie I believe you two would really love. That and Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. And Finally there's a Hulk double feature called Hulk vs. which has two individual movies where he fights Thor in one movie and Wolverine in the other. Hulk vs Wolverine however, is the more popular and most reacted to of the two.
Hi Magy, I loved the reaction you gave to this movie. I don't miss any of your videos and you are both great, I always like your reactions. I would like to make a suggestion if you could make a reaction to a very good movie called Treasure Planet, although it is not very well known it is great. Thank you for every video you make 😊😊😊😊😊😊
GREAT REACTION YALL! As a Tv show recommendation. "Cyberpunk Edgerunners" is an emotional masterpiece that you should both watch. It's only 10 episodes at 30 minutes each. It's an anime that will stick with you for a long time.
*Fun Fact, ladies: When Thor kisses Jane after the credits, that was not Natalie Portman. She was unavailable, so Chris Hemsworth’s wife played Jane Foster for the kiss!* 😘
*I like how this film fleshes out the relationship with Thor and Loki more, and, in the end credits scene, it introduces the the term “infinity stones”. And Magy, I noticed your face when that was said.* 😎
31:33 if it wasn't yet another illusion/trick by Loki, this would've been by far the most emotional scene in the movie, that rushed "I'm sorry" right before passing, as if trying to unburden his soul and part with his brother on good terms.
Once again, Odin narrating the intro makes that whole war/exposition dump so much more epic. The dark elves are presented as an incredible threat, especially Malekith, their ruler, who apparently has created the Ether - one of the Infinity Stones. Thor's character development kept a steady pace in this movie too - he did everything he could to save Jane, he prioritized Asgard's safety even if it meant disobeying his father's command, he gave Loki another chance to redeem himself and help defend their home. Loki, as always, stole the show with his little sarcastic quips, the chaotic way in which he does things, his strained interactions with everyone around him. This movie emphasized his self-defeating nature the best - he tips of the dark elf berserker which leads directly to Frigga's death - his adoptive mother being quite possibly the only person in Asgard he cares for without an ulterior motive. Frigga got a bit more screentime in this movie and she proved beyond a doubt just what an incredible badass she was. Her death devastated the rest of her family in such unique ways - Odin somehow grew even colder, ready to sacrifice everyone, to the last asgardian, in order to deal with the dark elves once and for all. Loki was truly unravelled by the news. Thor was the only one who kept a somewhat clear head, knowing exactly what to do next in order to keep his people safe and save Jane. Frigga's funeral scene is possibly one of the most beautiful ones in the MCU. Jane's character felt like she was just along for the ride, not too much development, she helped out when needed - overall served as a romantic interest to Thor. It was a nice touch, how Dr. Selvig still deals with the fact that Loki controlled him during the events of "The Avengers" - he's a bit more eccentric now. Darcy and her unpaid intern offered us some good comedic relief moments with their antics. Every single scene in which Thor and Loki have been together was great, if anything we needed a lot more of that this movie. 42:05 keep in mind this post credits scene - it's relevant for future movies. Thank you for the amazing reaction, commentary and the comprehensive discussion at the end ❤
HER story?? Well she feel in love with a boy MUCH younger than her whi had a very specvial destiny and fathered his twins. But because of that boy's destiny and the mystical powers linked to him and to her FROM him she dies just after giving birth.....Oh wait; that's someone else. LOL.
17:18 - She does become Thor's wife in the comics, so the movies will get there at some point. She's such a great actress (Blindspot), so it'll be nice to see more of her.
Hey Girls if you are not oppsed to taking suggestions I have a suggestion for a new show to request that you watch. Well two actually; The first is the (2004) Battlestar Galactica A sicence fiction show that is one of my all time favorite shows of zany genre. The other show is called Orphan Black and is from 2013 - 1017. Oh and one last one I almost forgot from (2006) the TV Show Heroes I think you'd REALLY like that one most of all.
Yeah, Magy would LOVE Battlestar Galactica if she ever gave it a chance. It feels like a hard sell, though. I mean, she only just finally got to Stranger Things. lol
@@jdovma1 Are you really comparing Battlestar Galactica to stranger things. They aren't even remotely similar in any way. One is a Sci-Fi Epic space drama. The other is a coming of age teen angst horror. I mean she enjoyed JJ Abrams Star Trek somewhat and that's a good base for BSG. But stranger things??? I don't see the relevance.
@@patrickcromwell7554 I'm not comparing them. What they are has nothing to do with this. I'm saying it took this long for her to get to a current popular show like Stranger Things that most reactors are doing. It may be difficult to convince her to devote her time to one from 20 years ago that she might not realize has the kind of cult following Battlestar has. I said she would love it. But there's a lot of movies and shows she will love that she doesn't get to. I've been bugging her to watch obvious classics like Shawshank and Karate Kid for like four years. lol She gravitates to what she gravitates to. There's a lot of content she might be more confident in the viewership to do reactions for. And I'm not saying that's how it should be, I think she should watch it, I'm saying that its likely what it is. Not sure how that got lost in translation. PS - When did she react to Star Trek? Was some Patreon only thing?
As much as I love the relationship between Thor and Jane I sometimes wish that Thor and Sif got together because not only were they together in the comics but they’re married in Norse mythology. Mostly I just feel bad for Jaimie Alexander who played Sif. She got seriously injured filming this movie and wasn’t brought back for almost a decade!
People say that’s the worst Thor movie. But besides the generic villain, this is a good Thor movie. Ragnarok is a better story, but not thaaat good the way they made in my opinion. This at least have jokes in the right moments and not a lot of them.
I love Darcy so much. That humor just always gets me. Her timing is impeccable.
Thor 3 : Ragnarok is one of best movie of entire marvel cinematic universe...
All this talk about Loki. I can't wait for you guys to react to the Loki series and its finale.
loki redemption is incredible
Unforgivable! You've cut the best moment in the movie, Loki's reaction to his mother's death!🥺
Well Magy, earth is always in the middle of everything because it is "Midgard", middle earth, the middle of the nine realms. It literally is in the middle of everything.
Basically we’re mid in everything
Laura knows she fix Loki as she can fix all the “bad boys”. 😉
"Perfect. They found a parking space." 🤣
Fun fact: the kissing part in the last end credit is actually Thor's actor's wife (which is why they dont show her face)
Favorite part is still the establishing of the line of people who will kill Loki if he betrays Thor again.
If that final kissing scene at the end of the movie looked extra passionate, that's because it was real. That was Hemsworth's wife playing Jane Foster. They figured since no one would see her face anyway, just put a wig over her blonde hair & go for it. Underrated as hell. This is the beauty of reactions ❤
22:54 magy’s sad realization there lol
Lara will definitely enjoy the Loki series as a little girl
5:54 in actual Norse mythology, Sif is Thors wife
Great Reaction Ladies 😍
No idea why the Homies channel has turned to crap. But I’m so glad this channels still awesome 😎👍🏻

41:26 Classic Loki, making everyone lose their minds 😂

I love that you guys drop on sunday unlike any other reaction channel lolol
6:16 let’s be honest, if any of us was as jacked as Chris Hemsworth in this scene we would never wear a shirt.
40:41 "I'd rather be a good man than a great king" - by far the best line in this movie and a testament to Thor's growth as a person.
37:00 "This is my new pet. You like him?" I mean, you can call him a new pet, but that's like replacing Asi with Asi. lol
This movie is very underrated but is in My opinión the Best movie of Thor.
"I want that! I want that scenery! I want to wake up or get to bed with that."

36:09 my favorite bit of this movie. Mjolnir trying to reach Thor lol
Well, Laura's gonna end up LOVING Infinity War, Heimdall will ensure it!
My exact same thought! 🤐

I don't know why so many people hate this movie so much, but I really like it. It's nice to see people actually enjoying it too.
People were claiming the MCU was dead after this movie. Like they do now. Such silly idiots.
@@YodatheHobbit right? Such a clowns. It's better than any of the recent movies.

I also wanted to live in Asgard; and THEN I saw Wakanda. And now Asgard is only my second choice. lol.
You ladies got eye candy twice in the movie.🤣🤣🤣

This is going to be a very unpopular opinion so here it goes. I really like The Dark World more than Ragnarok!
