There's a reason why most of this is clips from the first movie. Because that was when an actual good director who understood the source material made these movies. Odin only has 2 scenes in Ragnarok, but in just those 2 scenes, has the most poignant displays of wisdom and introspection out of any of the movies. The movies failed in a simple basic premise of the comics. Odin possessed the odinforce, which, according to the cojics was a combining of odins power and that of his 2 brothers eons ago. This force was to be passed to his successor on his death. Thor should have inherited that power. But, i understand the need to deviate from the comics to insure the kovie story lines are maintained
THey could have made so many more fantastic Thor movies - I can't believe they made that last POS Thor movie. I would love one the Avengers in Asgard with Tony making the uru armor. Would love one with the Karnilla. They royally f'd Zeus because those could have been great and Hercules movies could be fun. I'm not sure why Disney went scorched earth on their best stuff - OK killing Natalie Portman was a good thing.
