Hela has to be one of the most iconic MCU Villains ever! I absolutely love her. Cate Blanchett did an outstanding job playing her. Part of me hopes she comes back someday, she is too perfect for them only to use them in one movie. Also, the line where she says "No one is going anywhere. I'll get that sword even if I-have-to-kill-every-single-one-of-them to do it!" is so amazing and iconic hahaha.
Holy shit I completely forgot that it’s Cate Blanchett playing Hela! I just finished Lord of the Rings where she played Galadriel, and thought that Hela looked familiar… 😅😂
Shitty villain in a shitty script. In the first movie it shows Odin's staff can do the same thing. Waititi is a hack who didn't event watch the first movie.
@@sshan_lwolf Better Hela than Thanos. Thanos killed people just for his insane beliefs. Hela seemed to let you live as long as you pledged your loyalty and didn't seem to kill innocents unless they were in her way.
Imagine if Hela hadn't been consumed by her Lust for Power, or hadn't been sealed away by Odin? She would have definitely been a force to be reckoned with in Infinity War and Endgame, Thanos would have such a hard time with her by herself, let alone all 3 of the siblings.
Hela is stronger than Thanos, he's only that powerful bcs of the gauntlet. Even Odin feared that Hela could conspire against him and defeat him, so he sealed her, you have no idea of how much Hela is in fact powerful, she's the goddess of death
Jacker Studios Pro yeah right I'm a really big marvel fan actually, I hope she will return, im pretty sure, she will return infinity war, we did not see her actually dies here in this movie.
As much as I like tragic villains and villains that weren't always bad people, it was refreshing to get a MCU supervillain that was pure evil from start to finish.
Anybody else notice as Surtur plunges his sword in to Asgard in an attempt to kill Hela, she teleports backwards and then flys off? This means she's alive and could make a return right?
I think hela is not dead because Hela is the of Death not dead. She controls Death. If she wishes anyone could die except the Asgardian gods. Hela also has control over her death. After distruction of Asgard she might be floating in space waiting for the right opportunity. She might comeback in Thor 4 or later.
It was said that she enjoyed that role immensely. And I can see why..... How often do you get I believe a two-time academy awarded winning actress that can just rip it the way she did.
Thor- Ragnarok Story was so great, accurated, strong and so many plot Twist in this Movies. No one think that Thor Mjolnir will be broken, Loki not Mischief, Deceptive and not scheming against Thor and his People but only against the bad guys, Hela as the hidden eldest Daughter and so many more.. Very great and very strong story/plot and great acting in the Movies..
I loved that they were true to Jack Kirby's design of Hela. Also, I have to add that Cate Blanchett was perfect for the role but she was smoking hot! There! I said it!
She got my FULL ATTENTION when Thor threw that hammer straight at her and SHE CAUGHT IT! WITH ONE HAND, WITH NO RECOIL from its momentum! I froze and I was stunned. So was Thor. She didnt even flinch! She held it effortlessly. But she did even more: SHE CRUSHED IT TO PIECES! WITH ONE HAND! I never seen ANYONE of Thor's foes in all my Marvel comics do that. From that moment to this I wanted to see and hear every scene she was in. I knew her power was serious to be reckoned with!
Honestly for those who thinks she's still alive it doesn't matter. Without Asgard, the bulk of her power is effectively gone. Now she'd just be some regular baddie in the MCU that the writers have to kill off instead of an effective villain.
Thor himself Don't know that his natural powers are in his body not in hammer. Hammer is a part of his power but his strength is in his soul. To defeat Thor you need 3 or 4 Hell.

I can't be the only one that wanted her to win? she's just too elegant and calm
I wanted her to win so badly.
She together with yondu would be too OP for thanos so she died
Yea I know right She kills a whole freakin army of armoured men and 5 ships by herself with elegance
Cate has always been the epitome of elegance and calmness ❤️

Are you dumb? It's not a job
Every time I saw Hela I always feel that Thor is the adopted one and not Loki...😂😂😂

She looks so hot with that hair and catsuit. Reminds me of Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy In Batman.
She is still alive out there who agrees she is immortal
