THANK GOD!! I'm going to attempt to cook, for the first time, a london broil medium well. I was going to pan seared it because I didn't want to turn on the oven in this TEXAS heat. But, your steak looks so delicious at medium well. It's worth the sacrifice of cooking it in the oven. Thank you for posting this video. Be blessed of God today and always.
OMG, this turned out great! Mine was 1lb so I did 5 mins, flipped it, added some onions, then did another 5 mins. I let it sit for another 5 mins man oh man!!! 😍😍😍
This is EXACTLY what i was looking for! I want a *tender* steak made in the oven. Period. It can be well, medium, just as long as it's tender. And i can tell this/yours is. Thank you 👍🏽 Keep making videos 🎉 PS- Anyone watching can cook less, or more, add onions, mushrooms, less butter, no butter (well ion know bout no butter 🤭), chives, etc... So, this is a good base on "how to" cook a *tender* steak via oven.
The first step for me in this recipe is to pan fry my seasoned steak for about 3 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness, and then transfer it to the oven to bake for 20 minutes, flipping the sides after 10 minutes. DELISH!!
I'm going to broil my steaks in the oven for the first time after watching several videos I found yours. We like our steaks about medium just a little pink in the middle. I hope it works out because I don't want to ruin 4 ribeyes!
My ribeyes came out pretty good. I Let them come to room temperature. I put them under the broiler in my oven for 6 minutes. Then turn them over for another 4-5 minutes and they came out medium. Really good steaks.
Not all of us like our steaks medium. You know, personally, I like mine well done. But I will admit that those commercials that talk about steak get me a little hungry.
@@mariefpaul1875 You are welcome. I meant to say 6 minutes on each side for a total of 12 minutes for well done. 5 minutes on each side for medium well. 4 minutes on each side for medium. And 3 minutes on each side for medium rare. This may not be true for all but this is what I go by. Make sure that your oven is clean and free from grease before broiling any steak. Also, I raise my rack so that the steak will be about 6 inches from the top of the oven. Hope this helps. Mine come out so delicious. I will never bake another steak again as it ruins and toughens the meat.
The safest way I do my 200+ gram steaks is oven cook in a deep pie tray, not much more bigger than the actual steak in a preheated oven at 200 C, 17 minutes on each side, where no pink remains🙂👍
I was kind of shocked to see how tender and juicy this steak is because I'm used to everyone saying to "rest" it before cutting into it. I can't wait to try this method!
Thank you so much! I've never eaten a lot of steak, but, I just bought us some rib eyes and I am going to cook these for me and my son! Your's looks so amazing! I like mine with no pink in it. So, I am going to cook them just like you did. Yummy!
This was exactly what I needed! I'm making a special dinner for me and my husband tonight and I hate cooking steak because it always comes out tough. I'm definitely trying it. It looks so good, quick and easy! Thank you so much!! My mouth was literally watering....😁
Try buying a tender cut of beef, like Ribeye. I make mine in the oven in a baking pan, covered with foil. Also, lay onions, scallions, bell peppers on the bottom of the pan and top of the steak. If it has enough marbeling, the fat will make it tender. Plus the juice from the onions, scallions and bell peppers will help too. If you don't want them in the pan, just cover it. I promise you, it will be fork tender. It will probably work on top of the stove too. Just make sure to keep the lid on.
I'm a chef from way back, my critique of this video would take two thousand page volumes and too long for it not to be enough to tell you all the wrong I observed in your very courageous steps in pursuing this line of career. I applause you greatly, cause you allow yourself to be heighten and debased by the viewers, and you still have to encourage yourself when there maybe times of questioning "why go on"? Why in deed, cause no matter the criticism, you will take the good and bad voices and get better at what you do,what your dreams and desires are; which there's no limits except what you put on your imagination. Lastly, remember, we do not become the great we adhere too be one day; we grow into all the greatness as we managed to avoid and weathering to the pitfalls engineered into a predisposed outcome for you. My short critique is that London broiled steak was a hot mess. Lastly, presentation is everything, seasoning is everything; so always have the best part or cut of whatever you presenting.
