Thanks for sharing , made this just now with Almonds I had soaked overnight , didn't have cashews on hand, used key lime instead of lemon but it came out delicious!
Hi Timea! Sure, feel free to use lime. Add the salt little by little if using lime until the taste is to your liking. It should last about a week in the fridge :)
if i added that amount of water to my crappy blender it wouldn't actually blend anything, just throw the cashews around and make a mess hahaha. great recipe, i'll definitely try it (albeit with a lot more water hahaha)
Hi there! Sadly almonds don't cream up as well as cashews do. As an alternative I'd recommend macadamia nuts more than almonds but you may need to add a bit more water.
Hi there! So sorry I hadn't seen your comment and had somehow missed it! It's best to use fresh water and discard the water the cashews were soaking in, as it can have a bit of a stronger taste. Hope it helps! :)
LOL!!!!! This is so funny... Believe it or not that's my "this is so good" face, I've never associated it with a sour face but I think you might be right! haha!

Don't even bother guys it's nothing like sour cream. Ruined some pretty dope cauliflower and mushroom tacos....
Sad face.
So sorry you didn't like it! Thanks for watching anyway :)
it is vegan and hard to get a good vegan sour cream recipe because the original has milk in
