100% accurate. The worst day of my life was going to intake. Traumatizing. I still have issues with my bladder from that ride. Everyone was crying and begging to go pee and peeing on themself. Grown women peeing on themselves... it was insane
Aw babe...I. so sorry...I hope u be ok...xxx
How is that allowed to even happen
I would honestly just pee on myself, screw that. Can't get any worse!
That’s inhumane. I would love to change that.
Same!! I went to Baltimore City Jail.. and they put me in the back of the wagon, dead ass summer, hot as hell..no there's no AC..they picked 3 other girls up and drove us around Baltimore for hours just cause they didn't feel like doing paperwork right then! My wrists were bleeding from the cuffs.. one woman pissed herself she had to go so bad! The intake was the worst part I think!!
You should write a book. Literally.
Just like that. Raw and real. I can't even imagine. You're such a good story teller.
Yes..and this should be the effing television shows. That might actually get thru to the YOs and help others think hard before ever taking that chance that could land them in there. From what I have seen, TV makes it sound like a street sorority or propaganda that people are treated decent inside. Someone told me the other day that "inmates have it better than a lot of people..medical care, 3 meals a day, a roof, and have the ability to learn skills/take "free" classes. I was like.."yep..I used to believe that too".
Write it! Put it on Amazon so all ur fellow girl friend's can buy it or HELL walmart even tho I DNT shop THERE lol I knw a majority still does!! So get er done Grandma bet Me n a shit ton of other's WILL buy it!! Cuz girl friend we taken a chance on what YOU have ta say 💖 GOOD IDEA!!

Christina, I am a retired English professor, and I’m wondering if you have written a book, talked to kids at school (I would have asked you to visit my college students!), or given lectures about your experiences - you are naturally a very charismatic person and your storytelling abilities are amazing. People can learn A LOT from you. I really respect you and what you have experienced I love your coverage of true crime, and your own experiences make your analyses so much more insightful.
that was my impression as well ! She is genuine and easy to listen to.....Would make an excellent speaker for wayward teenagers.....
Exactly! I really hope Christina got to read your response. She is so real, raw and human. I feel quite overwhelmed and shaky, her story stung! I definitely think she would be a true asset to every school...

I'm a retired community Corrections Officer from Florida. I do appreciate you sharing your experience as raw and real. Hopefully, it will compel others not to want to experience through the words of your testimony. Truly, you are an amazing storyteller, and many people will listen and be inspired.
I’m doing an interview Thursday for pasco corrections can’t wait
It should do way more than that. It should compel us, as a society, to ensure this NEVER happens to any human being. It's viciously cruel. It's plenty punitive enough to simply be locked up and have one's freedom taken away. What she experienced was torturous, traumatizing, damaging to health both physically and mentally ... Since many of these people were there due to trauma from childhood, it was re-traumatizing. It's sickening and embarrassing that we treat HUMAN BEINGS like this.
My brother is currently serving 45 years for a crime he didn't commit. But because he was with someone who made a bad choice, he's paying for it too. It's his 6th year this year, I feel for him and it hurts my heart everyday he has to deal with this life everyday. He's one of the most amazing men I've ever known. Thank you for bringing awareness to the system and helping others see this can easily be their situation and how real this life is.

Commit the crime do the time is one thing but this is inhumane, this should not be allowed just because someone’s committed a crime doesn’t mean you strip them off their human rights. We have to rehabilitate our people not make them feel like worthless pieces of shit and go out and do the same damn thing!
Its absolutely inhumane.
You think this until someone kills one of your family members. I get it people who haven't killed or hurt a child shouldn't be placed in prison with ones who do..
I feel that if a person hurts , rapes or kills anyone, and admits it, deserves no good treatment at all.. but if you ate serving time for a non violent crime you shouldn't lose your rights as a human. Definitely should reform our prisons in that aspect

I’m from Norway and people always say that prison here is like a hotel, I didn’t really believe it until I saw a documentary about one in a city called Halden. I saw prisoners getting their own room with a tv and bathroom, good clean food, different programs prisoners can attend, education opportunities, library, a room made up like a grocery store etc. I mean it was just insane to watch, and the most surprising thing to see was how respectful the guards were. In the common room the guards would even be sitting having conversations with the prisoners.
They focus so much on rehabilitation and explained that not being able to live in the free world for however long is the punishment, the goal is not to punish and seek revenge as that would only lead them to inflict more pain on themselves and others once they get out.
This treatment as explained in the video is freaking crazy and should only exist for the lowest of the low.
Saw the same documentary. It was nice and so clean. The guards that worked there said “if you treat an inmate like an animal, they’ll act like one. We treat them like fellow human beings and the percentage of reoffenders, is very low

Well said. We need prison reform here in the USA.
America could never. I have seen and looked into the way other countries handle things and... They always seem to find a better solution for things. Other countries plan better, they try more. Not at all downplaying her experience, but read Do They Hear You When You Cry...by Fauziya Kassindja. THAT needs to be a movie! A true story about an imprisoned African woman's experience. Ironically I read this while I was locked up.
I'm a 65 year old man South Carolina 40 years married , I'm so ashamed we would treat woman like Animals and expect them to better themselves

Thank you for your testimony I may have more understanding when my nephew comes out .
Oh really? Spare me with yourself righteousness! Your are compassionate towards the criminals but not the victims?
There are quite a few inmates who come out of prison that have PTSD after spending time in there.
Mainly it depends how long an individual is exposed to that daily environment & treatment. The more years that go by, the worse it becomes for that person to reintigrate back into society. And there are some experiences that you just can't get over easily.
@@OlgaSmirnova1 Nothing about his comment has anything to do with "self-righteousness". Seriously, you need to understand the meaning of words & obtain better reading comprehension skills before making rude, misplaced, & ignorant comments like you just did. There wasn't one thing that gentleman said about having sympathy for inmates as a whole or having any less feelings towards victims of crimes. That wasn't even in his comment to begin with. SMH

It has been almost 2 years since I was released from NC womens prison. I am shocked at how hearing you talk about that first day took me back to that trauma filled day. This has helped me realize that I probably have some PTSD from that day. You did a great job talking about it. I wish people were more aware of the lasting effects that happen when you stop treating people like people.
I'm so sorry. Our society sucks and in particular the USA which not only made the entire world a prison (Im from the former Yugoslavia, bombed and destroyed by America and EU) but even their own country. In a country which is a prison of exploitation and inequality itself, actual jail is of course inhumane.
I think most ppl who have lived thru and survived prison have some form of PTSD

As a retired Correctional Officer and a former Juvenile Delinquent, I know how tough it can be going through the whole process. It is important to be cognizant that those detained are just human beings and imperfect as are all of us. I worked in California so the policies on how detainees are treated seem to be much different than those in Florida. They deserve to be treated humanely and with respect. Thanks for keeping "it real". I enjoy your videos.

We need prison reform in this country. This is inhumane treatment. I'm so disgusted. I think there's people in this country that love being so punitive. That's how our prisons are set up. And it doesn't encourage people to change. It doesn't work considering our high recidivism rate.
Amen! Showing people such cruelty will not inspire anything positive.
I totally agree. Even if you are cold as hell and don't take the human element into consideration--you should at least care that crime rates and recidivism are impacted by the prison system (negatively). Rehabilitation for most crimes should be the goal (exceptions for heinous crimes and the small percentage of people that cannot be reformed)
Some people deserve inhumane treatment tho but not the ones that did small nonviolent crimes.
I know. I don't think prisoners should be treated like kindergartens but this is horrifying to realize how badly these people are treated in prison. Even worse- how can people morally treat others like they are lower than animals?!

As we were riding, the Marshall went to a gas station to get whatever. When he got back into the van he hand me two Tylenol extra strength. I was so touched I started to tear up. I tip my cap to you. I couldn't be a prison guard. There is the old saying that you pick your enemies carefully or you become like them. We can be a a product of our environment.
Ugh. That sounds like literal hell. 🥺 Thank you for sharing your story. I am so glad you found your way and turned your life around. I found you during the JD trial and so glad I did. Love you! ❤️
This literally sounds like a kidnapping story. insane.
tell us about last day in prison
love ya
Yes!!! This is such a good idea!!! Please do ❤️❤️
Yes definitely!!
Yes!
Yes do it Sister
You'd be an excellent speaker for school kids and children with issues! Thank you for sharing your story with us, I realise it takes a lot to talk about things from the past!
I so agree with you! They should show her videos about prison to youthful offenders that have lost their way or heading down the wrong path.
I feel the same!! I appreciate that she shares her life with us and her descriptions are so vivid that I can picture in my mind. ❤
I agree;she should go from school to school, around the country. 👍👍👍👍👍
I feel like this woman would be successful doing pretty much anything. She’s been through it all and is tough as nails but still manages to be warm and charismatic. Such a gift.
I’m soo sorry you went through that Christina. I’m glad your out and safe-
FLORIDA! I'M 2 MINUTES IN AND ALREADY KNOW I WOULD DIE! THE HEAT ALONE.... I CANNOT!! BLESS YOU!
Right! I am in Seattle but i am so a person 3ho likes it cold then hot. I dont understand why they can't say use the bathroom before they take everyone & have some air circulation at least. Treating people like that is horrible & unnecessary. You are a strong woman, I can only imagine.
I can hear the pain in your voice as if you were reliving that moment 💔
I'm hella early today girl haha 👑💜🤘🙂
Jessica Kent Jess ❤️
I love you Jess I love watching your videos.. you and Christina are definitely my favorite channels right now! I'm in recovery from opiate addiction I've been clean since May 13th 2017 and watching you and Christina has really changed the way that I view myself. I only went to jail for 10 days for driving on a suspended licensebut other things that I did when I was on opiates people still judge me for they don't think that I have changed where I was able to change. But you and Christina have both taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think that as long as I know I'm doing the right thing for myself my fiance and my children that's all that matters I just wrote a comment on her channel and thank her I woke up this morning for the first time in a long time and I actually feel good about myself and the person that I am now and I'm not worried about what other people say so I just wanted to say thanks. You know how people judge you even after you're in recovery and I had a really hard time with it. But now I feel a lot better because I love you too so thanks. I've been watching Christina since about eight thousand and I was with you before you had 1000. I hope both of you have nothing but success in life you really are touching people and changing lives! Thanks again! I hope you have a great day!
Sara Brant, keep on keeping on, girl! U got this 💕
Hey Jess!!! Yay!!!
Literally both of y’all are babesss😭
This should be shown in schools!
You are brilliant at explaining the reality and rawness, but with the personal emotion and with superb morality and lessons learned! I know kids would listen to you.
What a woman !
Christina have you ever thought about going to talk to troubled youth? I feel like you’d be amazing at being a mentor to those who grew up in situations similar to you. You could let them know what could happen if they continue living the kind of life you used to, and how everyone is capable of change. You are proof of that. ♥️
She was told she could never work with children so might be tricky. I’m wanting to know if she did end up doing social work about 10 videos in
Have you thought about doing a keeping happy / battling mental health type video? Coming out of any difficult time or trauma? As I..along with so many others I’m sure, would really benefit from hearing some REAL advice about self care. Currently going through one of the worst stages of my life and I take so much positivity & love from your videos, you just radiate compassion & happiness, we could all really do with taking a leaf out of your book. ❤️ thanks for always being so real.
Amberrrlily las
Being in Prison is so traumatic. You being so honest is so wonderful. So many people need to hear these stories.
You are a gifted story teller. I’m so happy that chapter of your life is over. Thank you for sharing
That's inhumane how they treat people going to prison. Whatever you did, you're still human and should be treated as such. You can't treat animals like that but you can treat imprisoned people like that...? Nah, I'm not agreeing with that.
they shouldn’t treat anyone or anything like that
I agree with it for people that killed people hurt people raped etc but small or nonviolent crimes no
There must be the idea behind it that being treated like that somehow turns people into better human beings. I am pretty convinced this not how it works. Otherwise, the prison population would go down, less people would return to jail again and again. It should stop!
Right but sadly it’s all true... once u belong to the state u basically lose your rights intelligence (according to COs ur a dumb pos no matter what) and lose respect/dignity. Yes jails/prisons have rules and regulations but they aren’t followed COs do what they want when they want and there’s nothing you can do about it. If ppl report things their lives will be made like a living hell worse than it already was and if investigated guess what COs know ahead of time even though they’re not suppose to suppose to be random but it isn’t and they straighten things up real quick those inmates that reported or give problems will be placed in the hole (isolation) while investigation is taking place. So everything checks out no issues all rules followed and they leave within couple hours and after they walk out door it’s back to the bs.
Then they wonder why most ppl reoffend they set you up for failure they want you to mess up they need the prisons and jails full that’s how they make their money and that’s what it’s all about. If you’re not an addict or a true criminal and sent away for petty stuff after u serve ur time you’ll either be an addict or walk out institutionalized. Basically you come out worse than you went in. It’s sad! Look up jails on Europe Netherlands Finland Sweden etc etc those are literally like a nice hotel COs treat inmates with respect one I saw soon as they walk in door officer is there to shake there hand and greet them. They don’t have cells they have rooms with their own shower tv fridge looks like a studio apartment designed by ikea. They have nice gyms pool tables table tennis. They aren’t handcuffed it’s amazing check it out on here.
The way they treat humans in prison is not going to lead them away from crime. For some people it just makes them lose any faith they had left in humanity.
Its truly remarkable that Christina was able to change her life. Sadly, the dehumanization in prison leaves many with such negativity its a never ending cycle of reoffending. Maybe with a little compassion, it could give one a reason to rehabilitate.
That’s there plan tho keep them like animals so when they get released they come back it’s all for profit break the ppl so they come back and make the government more momey
Prison is not designed to rehabilitate. In other countries, prisons are treated like regular people and what do you know, they are much less violent and have less recidivism. If you treat people like they're animals, that's how they're going to act.
Very true on This comment
@@chelelee6321 very true
You really have put things into perspective regarding us prison system. Sounds horrific. Thank you for sharing your story and love your videos.
Girl I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have great admiration for you. But after watching this video that went up like 200%. I could just feel how heavy that was, everything you were saying. You were reliving it. I am so sorry that you went through all these things but you are a beautiful, strong, amazing human being.
I am a juvenile probation officer and I truly believe videos like this would be every bit as effective as probation when it comes to deterring kids from continuing to make bad choices. I love watching your videos, you are truly inspiring ♥️
I wonder how many people coming out of prison have ptsd. Sounds pretty traumatic.
Edit: sounds REALLY traumatic
Jessica Robison almost all in my opinion. I was in jail and I have ptsd
Tori Brown I’m so sorry, that’s terrible. I honestly don’t see how treating people like this is beneficial at all. If they want people to stay out of jail I can’t imagine this is the best way. It would be hard enough to adjust with out ptsd but with it wow what a struggle.
@@Starnote16 they don't want people staying out of jail. that is the point
trose90 good point. That’s disgusting as well.
Jessica Robison sure is disgusting. Everything is all about money. I am just happy many people are already waking up and continuing to wake up to all the corruption that has been hidden. Its just going to keep revealing itself so I am grateful for that
Can you do video on first week of prison? How you start talking to other inmates? Please
I was just about to request this! I would be interested to know how you make "friends" and how or when you talk to other inmates. Do they approach you? Do you approach them? Also if anyone tried to make advances on you or perhaps offering relations in exchange for safety or something else.
I'd also be interested in knowing what goes on in an average day of a prison. Im not talking about fights etc, im curious about jobs and other things. For example: Does everyone get assigned a job? Is it right away? You mentioned courses and classes are few and far between how does that work? Do you do your job everyday? How much downtime do you have? Basically i'd like to know the day in the life of an inmate.
Yes like how u settled in and got used to the flow
From California; I have a son who has spent more time in then out. I became a probation officer so I kinda know both sides of that rusty coin. I've been to South prison to North Prison and a few in between. I'm so glad he finally gave that crap up so far 🙏🙏🙏
I've worked in a prison here in the Netherlands and prison is never a good time, but what you describe would be unthinkable here. Wow. Just wow. So inhumane.
What she is explaining is exactly how it is here. The powers that be don't care about us. We the people, in and out of prison, are nothing but a number. They live their cushy lives while we the people are their slaves. Seriously. And folks wonder why we are such an angry set of people? The powers that be care about nothing but money. Money is their God. Watch the movie "Hunger Games'. That pretty much sums it up.
Office to the constitution of the United States (we the people) but ask to see their oath of office, their oath is to the BARS ASSOCIATION. Which is illegal. Technically they are protected by the Foreign Sovereignty Immunity Act. Technically they aren't even American citizens! Look it up. You too will SEE.
And once you have been in their system it is hard to get out. They know we don't have the money to take things to court. They get paid to lock us up. So they will either Trump up the charges or make up a charge. The public defender (public pretender) works for them. Their job is to strike a deal with he prisoner so the case doesn't go to court. BUT the judges are suppose to take an oath of
The county jails get paid $100/day for each prisoner. The judges get bonuses for each prisoner that gets locked up, which is illegal bc that makes the prisoner a "financial interest" and anytime a prisoner is a financial interest the judge is supposed to recuse himself/herself. They don't though. Any agency where the prisoner/detainee is a financiL interest is supposed to recuse themselves, but they don't. They are all so crooked. The problem is, is that folks don't take time to READ their rights! If they ever start looking into it and stop allowing things like the TV or RUclips to take up all of their time, the powers that be will be in real trouble. What they are doing is writing the rules while breaking rules that have already been written. Its treasonous!
Should be played in middle schools and high schools. Thank you for sharing.
This should be played for everyone. At least the next time a person wants to do something stupid, they'd realize what's in it for them.
100%. Christina and Big Dragon would sort out so many of America's kids imho
Great idea
The titties would definitely keep me entertained too!
And college too with all the crime we see nowadays
“bob wire fences. seament walls.” i love you so much 😭😭😭
lena lomonaco baby, it’s the same way in jail, but they treat you better in prison, than they do in jail.
Ikr the way she pronounces words are so cute😂
I thought I heard Bob wire lol she's adorable
Lmao in came to the comments after I heard "Bob wire" to see if anyone was going to mention it. I love her so much ❤❤❤
You’re a beautiful and strong person. You really help to humanize those who’ve been imprisoned. Everyone makes mistakes.
loving the makeupless videos :)
I didnt even realise she wasnt wearing makeup until I saw this comment she's beautiful
Katie Clark isn’t she?!☺️❤️❤️❤️
Last day in prison? 🤔
Love ya girl!💖
danielle johnson good idea!!!
danielle johnson yes!!!
yaaaa
One of my biggest fears was the jail would catch on fire and they'd just leave us in there. I had that thought all the time.
@ChristinaRandall ❤️ I always say your intro with you and I never skip it.
Love you so much girl 🤗
Hey gurl..thanks for sharing your experience. Your truth! I have a 19 year old daughter, who Is an actual amazing young lady, I sat her down and asked her if she would watch most importantly listen to you and what you have to say, surprisingly enough she sat and listened, then she turned to me and said "mom, I love you" and this woman is courageous to tell her stories, & I promise the next tym I even think of doing something irresponsible I will forever remember this." So as a mother I'd like to thank you. So a HUGE THANKS TO YA! 💜 STAY LIFTED💜
Bruh im show this to my kids if EVER I NEED TO scare them so they don’t act crazy and go to prison. Girl im 27 and you got me shook, prison ain’t a joke so many shows make it look so easy and chill... when really it’s horrible
I actually want you to make a video about what type of people you cross passes with in prison.
Yessss, I would love to hear that
I love your smile Christina. I’ve been a fan for a long time. But just wanted to say that. Keep it up. You’re amazing.
If you haven't been to jail or prison she has explained it exactly how it is. It is a horrible place to be and she has show so much emotion describing her situation in prison. I thank her for sharing this. She just might have saved somebody from messing up and making the wrong decision
❤️❤️ your intro honestly grew on me, and idk why but I freaking love it now lollll
Was just about to head off to bed but guess I’ll stay up for a storytime from grandma Christina 🥰
Tee Ellen-Rose oh this won’t give you sweet dreams lol
It has been 7 years for me and I rarely talk about it because it was so traumatizing and when I do share, people don't believe me that it is really that bad.....it is REALLY THAT BAD. Thank you for sharing, for being so honest, and being the kind of person that this world needs more of. You give me strength without even knowing.
You make me so thankful I didn't get in any more trouble once I turned 18... And I mean that as a compliment. I'm grateful for your channel!
This alone would keep me from crime. It is so horrendous.
It's always been something I'm absolutely terrified about.... I really honestly do not think I could do it for a second.... Can u just imagine if u actually didn't do anything anything and were for some reason accused and put in prison... I just couldn't stay alive anymore I don't think... Xxx
I know prison ain't supposed to be appealing but it damn sure shouldn't be so inhumane either. 💔
Wow!! Hopefully this will dissuade some people from going towards that path….thank you so much for sharing the truth…God bless you…..
