- " Dave Kroupa watched his cell phone blow up with dozens of text messages from his stalker.
"My favorite thing to do is stand outside and stare at you," one message read. Dave, 36, was almost used to it by now. He would go on to receive tens of thousands of texts and emails like this over a three-year period. The messages are rife with jealousy and rage at first, then over time, the tone changed from spiteful to threatening. "I hate you so much that I want to drive a knife in your heart," read one message. "I will destroy your life and take your happiness," read another.
Kroupa said he can't remember how many times he changed his phone number, and yet, the messages kept coming. "What do you do when somebody invades every space of your life?" he said. They all appeared to be from Cari Farver, a woman he dated for only two weeks in Omaha, Nebraska, but no one had physically seen her for a long time. It was years after the harassment began that detectives uncovered a vindictive lover, who had gone to extreme and deadly lengths to destroy her perceived rival." I just watched this documentary and I was sickened to see the lengths this pyscho went to to hide what she did. The poor victim to have her life taken and then framed to be a stalker etc is just unimaginable. I'm so happy the truth came out and they caught her. She's a monster!!!

I was good friends with Cari in the early 2000’s. She was a funny, honest, happy person. I hadn’t talked to her since I left the Omaha area I. 2006, it was sad to find this out on Netflix.
I can relate to how you feel. Finding out a family I knew was killed in a murder/suicide, on the TV News. Heartbreaking. I was in shock for days because it was my brothers business partners family killed by the 19 year old son.

When my fiancé and I watched this, he had a theory that I think is really brilliant. He thinks that crazy Liz burned her body, but kept whatever wouldn’t burn like bones & threw them into the fire she started! Any evidence of Cari’s death that she might’ve had because no one would’ve been looking for them and there was animal bones already, but could you imagine killing your own animals? If you’re going to be that crazy to burn your own house down at least let your animals out and let them think that Cari had compassion for at least animals. It would’ve been believable. The animals did not have to die that really pissed me off.

It’s a newer case- out of Pueblo, Colorado. Jesus and Yesenia Dominguez were the siblings names- RIP. Parents were arrested finally last week, thank god. Both kids hadn’t been seen since 2018. 😞

Same, I first heard this case several years ago and remember how shocking this case was to me. The mom's dream and the fact that Liz would take this to such lengths to not only kill Carrie, but to also kill HER OWN PETS to keep this twisted game of hers going absolutely floored me!

I was alone in my room drinking trying to find something to watch. I came across this, man that chick is crazy.
I haven't seen the Netflix doc, but I have seen the Dateline episode, the 20/20 episode, and the lifetime movie.
Dreams are the easiest way for those on the other side to communicate with us. So if you want to hear from someone on the other side just ask and be patient. It's a learned skill for them.
I lost my brother (my only sibling) in 2020. He has spine/ brain cancer and contracted an awful flesh eating disease so when I was in the hospital to say goodbye (right before COVID restrictions) I had to wear a full biohazard suit. Seeing him in a coma looking like a skeleton haunts me to this day. He was 35. Well a few days after he passed I had the most horrific dream. He was like a zombie with his flesh falling off, his brains pouring from his skull. He told me he still wants to live and he’s not ready to die, that he was stuck in purgatory and didn’t know how to get out. I woke up crying and drenched in sweat. I developed insomnia because I was terrified of falling asleep. I truly pray it was just a nightmare and not really my brother visiting me. I also pray that he comes back in my dreams and I can see that he’s ok now. 😢

I watched it when it first came out...Liz was cra-cra for sure...scares me and makes me feel warranted for my dating screening process. In my past dealing with men who mental health and substance abuse issues. Others who abused me in every way possible. I am a survivor of several years now and lots of therapy. Online dating is challenging because you never know who you are talking to. I think Liz was on another level...be safe out there ❤

I forget when this happened but the worst cse of stalking I ever saw was a woman who had moved away to another state to get away from her stalker. The stalker hired a detective, found her and stabbed her to death.
The cops told Dave, you need to keep ur kids and Amy as close as possible, cuz they believed she was in danger. After she tried to frame Amy, EVERY single time the cops asked if for more info on about Amy she would forward SOOOOOO MANY emails and texts to them. This case BLEW my mind, I mean he hadn't even been seeing her long when he met Carrie and she kept this going for YEARS! Makes u wonder what was wrong w her and going on in her brain to do this? She was completely CRAZY

What wasn't stated on this video, if I remember correctly from a different video, is that Cari actually lived in a different town in Iowa but worked in Nebraska. Two different states with two different police departments and the ties were just never connected especially since police didn't want to believe that she was actually missing

I remember the story from dateline years ago. It stood out in my mind because it happened in Omaha, which is where I used to live. The dateline episode started with the 911 call about being attacked in the park. Since I used to live in Omaha, I thought that was not even remotely plausible. But I hung on, and as the story unraveled, I could not believe it! I am sure the Netflix movie about this would draw you in! I would love to see it, but I don’t have Netflix. But I love your storytelling and yes, the lady is crazy. .. and that is the best word for it😂

Crazy people & killers existed before online dating. It’s irritating when online dating is blamed for this. There are plenty of murder cases of lovers that met in traditional ways. It’s so easy to pick on online dating whenever there is one case that involves online dating.

Wow I knew right away this psycho killed Cari!! I had a moment of doubt when the animals were killed in the fire and the txts coming in to both her and Dave at the same time but inside I knew she was behind it all. Wow what a sociopathic psychopath! The job, the furniture, the shooting herself in the leg .. the list goes on and on of what a crazy mind this woman has! Her poor kids!! I also just recently watched this Netflix documentary! I met my current fiancé on Plenty of Fish, back in 2015, so not everyone on there was crazy! I feel for Kari’s family and the craziness they had to go through though. I could not imagine my my mom dealing with this kind of thing.

I got so confused in the middle of this video that I almost shut it off but I am thankful that I didn’t because that lady is bonkers. I got so confused when this one was acting like that one and that one said she was moving to Missouri to get a new job yada yada yada yada yada OMG. And yes she could’ve got away with it if she would’ve been so busy writing all these emails and text messages. Wow just wow that woman is definitely not on the right page in her book.
Let me tell you that this is some next level sociopathic ish. I heard the story before and the lady is beyond crazy because she believes what SHE says is true. The lengths she went through over jealousy only exist in mental disorders text books.
