Check out this guys comments on edward snowden. He claims edward snowden went to the russians when in reality snowden just had a connecting flight in russia but the us gov revoked his passport before he landed. Leaving him trapped in Russia.
He often tells little lies and gets away with it. Go watch his interview on konkrete, at least there he gets called out on them several times by john kyriakou. In that interview its very clear he has zero respect for the constitution. I wish ppl could see the grift for what it is.
Im not even sure he's off the payroll of the CIA, they have infiltrated media in the past, its not a huge leap. But it doesnt matter if he is on the payroll or not, he tows the line perfectly anyway

So true when he said, paraphrasing here"we have the right to be happy, but not at the expense of our neighbors, we have to co-exist". And "the primary job of Congress is protecting American national security interests and making sure our society gets stronger, NOT undermine the purpose and intent of your office". Some in Congress are intent on taking away individual citizens right and also fundamentally changing government to a more authoritarian regime

And when are you going to investigate your "American interests" foreign policy that determines that no African country has a right to its own resources?
You do know that your CIA foments coups to overthrow and often assassinate any African leader that shows signs of governing for his people, don't you? These ambitions do not include attacking the USA, but rather to feed, house and cloth his people, using the natural resources found within his borders.
American national security interests include economic interests, at the expense of everyone else's economic interests, and its protection by any means, fair or foul.
And it is really only the one percent who benefit!

I don’t think he was really an employee of the CIA. He may of had some tenuous, superficial connection. But likely not an agent. It’s suspicious that his long green comes from “training” wealthy wannabes in spy-craft. I had a pretty good education. I’m certainly not an expert in diplomacy, foreign affairs, military history, or any other such things. But, I do know enough to recognize that some of the things he says, are total nonsense.

  • @Jessica-kk1cz
    @Jessica-kk1cz 5 месяцев назад +31

As a person who works in federal government consulting industry across agencies for 16 years - Bustamante is 100% correct that the majority of people who go into the national security arena are more progressive and liberal overall. And it’s also entirely correct to say each agency has its own culture. Even in DHS - there are a lot of more liberal people there. Be glad there are both “sides” because Bustamante is also correct that the world is not as ideal right now as one would hope.
For example- I’m left of center, but I don’t care about the “feelings” or childhood trauma of sex traffickers, drug lords and I’m no longer naive enough to think they can be “rehabilitated”. Or, in DOD, you had better be pretty cognizant that Putin, Xi Jinping, and many of their followers, are psychopaths and “negotiating” with them not to release some bio agent somewhere in the US water supply. Negotiating with them would be like negotiating a car ride with Ted Bundy or a dinner date with Jeffrey Dahmer - sure, you can try - but you’re stupid if you think negotiating with them in normal terms will never matter to them, and you better be on your toes, and have your gun ready.

Every time someone does an interview, unless the interviewee is pitching a book, I wonder what the agenda is. Bustamante said most of the sought after secrets aren't sexy. Didn't he give the reasons why someone would leave the CIA? First point was getting disillusioned by the reality of the job - and people in the comments have made it clear that the agency does make mistakes and this probably is connected to personal mistakes as well - and second point after years your work shifts from working in the field to more and more political games as you rise in the hierarchy which some would like and for some that is the point to quit and look for another job. And for why to join: he described the recruiting process, so indirectly how he joined himself.

Here are some key takeaways from the video:
    - Andrew Bustamante was a former covert CIA officer who worked in the National Clandestine Service (NCS) from 2007-2014. His role was highly secretive - even his family and friends didn't know he worked for the CIA.
    - The CIA recruitment and vetting process is extensive, with multiple interviews and psychological evaluations to assess if candidates are suitable for clandestine roles.
    - Contrary to popular belief, intelligence "secrets" are often very mundane technical details rather than sexy plot lines like in movies.
    - Bustamante believes the intelligence community leans liberal when hiring younger employees, who then often become more conservative/centrist as they gain experience seeing global threats.
    - He cautions against overtly politicizing intelligence agencies, arguing they should be nonpartisan and focused solely on protecting national security interests defined by Congress.
    - For everyday people, useful spy skills include elicitation (getting information without revealing your intent), gaining perspective beyond your own perceptions, memory techniques, and managing fear/anxiety productively.
    - The anxiety management goes beyond therapy techniques by tying it to operational utility - redirecting energy purposefully after calming down.
