Nice This app is very useful for experimenting with car and make your car model.
You can’t us that actuator arm of the steering servo as it is. It scribes an arc in motion ..and you would need to have elongated slots at its connection to the rack to allow for the change in distance as the arc is scribed (moving of servo to steer)?
what all features do i get in demo version nd how can i get the total version...!? please tell me in detail about difference in demo n full versions of it!

Wow, this looks seriously impressive! :D Thanks for making this! Does this game have reduction gearboxes or would I have to make them myself?
I'm trying to find out whether I can use this game to model some farm engineering projects I am working on. It seems promising so far!
I want to make a chunker for instance and I want to see if I can reduce the 1800 rpm from diesel motor using a 1:50 gearbox and turn the chunker at 36ish RPM.
Search on youtube for 'gary wood chunker' if you wanna see what I mean.
Thanks! You'd have to make the gearbox yourself using the gears in the game. You should be able to get that kind of gear reduction, but you'd need to use quite a few gears together to do it. Take a look at the "Geared down Motor" example construction in the game for the general idea.

i don't know why but i cant get the steering to work i checked everything for rigid attachments but there were none the steering just wouldn't budge when i tried to move it yet it would sometimes rotate freely
+Ethan Kline Hrm, hard to say why this might be. In the latest demo build I've included some examples of steering mechanisms, I'd suggest comparing those with the one you built. If that doesn't get you anywhere, you could post up your save file somewhere and I'll take a look!
SERVO motor not working what should i do ?
You need to assign keys to it in order to control it. Highlight the servo and hold shift and E to bring up the configuration menu. For more details check out this video: ruclips.net/video/mzoEbnwEq5M/видео.html

how can you use a steering wheel for this type of steering mechanism
Probably the best way to hook up a steering wheel would be to use a rack and pinion gear, here's an example: ruclips.net/video/BCJqG68kLHo/видео.html

Hmm, that's odd. Have you tried turning things off in the graphics settings to see if that makes any difference? Can you let me know your machine specs (OS, CPU, GPU etc.)? Thanks!

@GearBlocks ok thanks, but just to be clear, would making the side links angled instead of straight towards the mid point of the back plate make it ackerman? Is this sufficient?

Do you mean to open the .rar file? You can use Winzip or Winrar to unpack it.
