This setup is not optimal. The tie rods should be located on back side of king pins with pitman shaft pointing downwards.

This steering mechanism would not work at all for a regular kart with a live axle. It lacks Ackerman steering and caster on the front wheels that are needed to turn correctly.

Howdie wondering if you could make one with a motor in front 22hp Briggs and then ya got something cause anybody can do this it's lot harder when ya gotta use what brain cells we have left for one with a motor in !!!!
