    Wow. That is a perfect first wash on the sky! Beautiful. I've just reached the point where I can do a perfect graded wash, but I don't know about a flat one. You make it look effortless, lol, but I know better.

    Rick, you have created another great painting. Your method of describing what you do and why you do it is so helpful to be in understanding the creation of watercolor paintings. The painting is much more than just a copy of the reference photo. Your paintings always look much better than the photos. Great work, Rick. Have a great new year.

    This was one of the most captivating as well as highly informative piece I've seen in a long time! It was exciting to watch your process as well as listen to your comments!
