Hello Kevin 👋 I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for me?? I see that it looks as if your painting Alla prima. Or are you just stopping for dry time and start the video back where you left off? Also do you use any mediums that help with speeding up on your dry time? And what do you use, linseed oil or something else? I have always wanted to use oil paints. But I have been using acrylics now for some time and I start working with watercolors last year a bit. I feel like I’m ready to get started with oils so I got some water soluble all paints. I just seemed a little less intimidating and may be a little safer . Have you ever tried them? If so what are your thoughts on them? Thank you so very much in advance!!

It’s not all prima, this was done in couple of stages! You can tell from the foreground trees and the darks under the snow just past the trees, the colors didn’t mix!
