RIP not only to the amazing Pete Burns but now to Steve Coy who died on the weekend that just passed. Dead or Alive are officially over unfortunately. I would have loved more more more new material. Pete Burns was such an amazing artist. I saw them in 1987 in LA on the Rip it UP tour and it was one of the most memorable nights of my life.
I loved the way he looked, danced, his hair and style. I was lucky to see him once more performing at the pride parade in San Francisco.
This is my favorite song by them but then all of their songs were my favorites. I just love Dead or Alive. Its Alive forever in our memories of a unique, gifted star with courage to be who he was. They say we go to heaven for the climate, to hell for the company.
Wow man you were so lucky to see him perform in his prime, i would of loved to have experienced it.

Never seen this one, only the TOTP performance, so to see this on You Tube is divine . Pete in Black contacts transfixes me every time. Next to Misty Circles performance on (Razzmatazz) this is simply PERFECTION XXXXXXXXXXX

@@witchylyrics5556 My comment was actually made a few weeks before Pete passed away. As of now, I believe Steve Coy's wife is releasing another Dead or Alive box set that is going to contain an unreleased track and some new remixes. It still breaks my heart knowing that Pete and Steve are gone. :(

Why the fuck he's lip-sync ? He has a lot of talent and he was one of the few singers who can really sing. I just don't get it !
It was very common for pop artists to lip-sync in the 80s when being filmed for tv and was often encouraged or sometimes even forced by those inviting them to "play" on their show. People were much less aware/critical against lip-syncing compared to today so artists casually got away with it and "had a flawless sound".

At Top Of The Pops all the artists were obliged to sung in playback, so it doesn't depend by them, maybe because they wanted to keep the original sound of the songs or it taking too long with the soundcheck and anyway this is call 80s :-)))))
