There is a vinyl that has the 7'' Remix & 7'' Version & the 7'' version is a shortened mix of the album version. So this isn't the 12'' version it's the 12'' Remix by Phil Harding.

This mix is the first 12" Version called US Wipe out Mix Part 2. (US Wipe out Mix Part 1 was the 12" of 'My Heart Goes Bang') They called it the US Wipe out because of the electric guitar solos. Then they released the Mortevicar Mix which also had the Flamenco Version on the B-side. There was also a promo Clean/Dirty XXX Mix which contains a sample from the film "The Exorcist".
Mortevicar was the best ever!!! long life forever for Dead or Alive and Pete.. Pete will always be alive in our hearts and minds. I AM SO SAD so many things to say ...

Something in my hose was remixed for single release, I'll save you all my kisses was remixed for single release, hooked on love was remixed, but it was only its 12" version that was remixed. Love come back was actually remixed for the album version rather then single release. The single version was slightly different then the album version, but it was almost the same. Spin me was actually the only single not remixed because the original version was the 7" performance mix, but they ended up putting the 7" mix on the album. Those are the only 2 songs on youthquake that were remixed & put on the album. Come home with me baby was remixed for single release. Turn around & count 2 ten was edited, but some parts in the 7" were remixed, but it's really not a remix. That's the way I like it was slightly remixed for single release & I believe it had was Rerecorded as the background vocals are different from the albums version. What I want was remixed for single release, both the original & the rerelease. I want you was remixed, but it was only released as a B-Side. So was total stranger also remixed but a B-side. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting about but it proves my point that almost every single release was remixed. So yes this is the Phil Harding 12" Remix & not the 12" version.

Is there an instrumental version that doesn't take out all the instruments because this is pleasing to my ears but I want a better idea of the music.
