It's so easy to re-theme this game to whatever you want! Just change the names of each item in the card and now its a pirate adventure! Zombies! Space! The possibilities are endless.
@@GeekGamers01 I haven't yet, but I'm running another session this week (or weekend) and I'll think about it in the meantime, haha! I think an overhaul of the system, or a larger encounter table with a higher percentage of lower level enemies might help. Fortunately, double sixes is rare, but not rare enough, as playing Battletech has shown me, lol
Interesting game looks like it could use a rules revision to iron out the rough spots. I think it would be easy enough to tinker with the game system. Thanks for the video as always you're the best!
Hey there good to hear from you. Yes your take away is on point. There’s a nice foundation here and lots of ways to expand/deepen/balance the experience. I enjoyed my time with the game & in an alternate world would spend more with rules tinkering

I agree the balance does need some work and I will definitely keep on tinkering it :) 3. Dear Geek Gamers, could you please create a 5 video playlist on the following: generative resources, restrictive resources, suggestive resources, rubrics, and a tie-in video with examples of how they play off eachother? Can you also include links to your books in the playlist? I know it's a bit much to ask, but searching your back catalog of videos takes awhile and i love seeing new ways you express your stories. So even if you state which rubrics and specific resources you are using for which intent would help greatly.
Thanks for the suggestion but I’m not sure it is possible. I don’t have videos where I simply talk about one or the other resource… that’s kind of the point… I use them all in my sessions, so there are not 5 existing vids like that. That said I have done some vids where I’m more explicit about calling them out… truly I’m not sure I can go back through 300+ vids to find these… I will think about this.
@@GeekGamers01 when i watch your videos, i see the "ah-ha" moments, but they don't really happen that way for me, and i totally get the analysis paralysis... i have a huge collection of both physical and pdf rpgs so it's really hard to find the gems that have what you need because it could take HOURS... Which is why i was hoping for more direction... oh by the way Humble Bundle has a Shadow Run 6th edition $18 pdf bundle!
Thx for the tip but I can’t work with pdf’s…. In terms of what you say, since you have so much stuff, why not just take 5 things that seem they might work together at the outset and tell yourself that’s all you are using? Maybe that kind of artificial constraint will help. And if you are looking to donate any physical RPG items to a YT channel… :)
