    Thank you for the compliments. This is my motor,and if also filmed the video. Glad you enjoy. As far as horsepower. Stock ford 94-95 roller blocks are good for about 540 horse before they pop. The car it belongs in has never been dyno'd. This motor was built to have about 450-500 at the flywheel. On a carb. The car pulls extremely hard and the motor and car are currently daily driven and has never gone over 190 degrees in Florida heat.

    • @haialhuw9769
      @haialhuw9769 10 лет назад

      so you have a fully built engine and daily drive it without a tune?? is that even possible? i just bought a m 90 mustang gt 5.0 fully roller engine and the car is not tuned yet and was wondering if i can still drive to the dyne shop without problems lol

    • @BlueSN95Mustang
      @BlueSN95Mustang 9 лет назад +5

      Hai Alhuw yes i do daily drive it, its a car without a computer and runs with a carb - there is nothing to tune except the carb and regulator, and is and was tuned in 2 seconds flat. OF course you can drive your computer controlled '90 to the dyno with no tune. How is it not possible? Please stop acting like you know something, when you clearly dont. There is nothing BUT a carb to tune on a carb inducted motor, with this car, no computer to flash and OR code, no fuel parameters, no air velocity, nothing , its all jetting and tuning the carb to the motor, and is done in literally no time if you know what your doing.

      scott blue question. I am currently installing a 347 in my 95 f150. This is the motor of a lifetime for me. I traded a motorcycle for it, which I had a good deal in. Otherwise I could never have or “would” spend this kind of money on a engine. I am a Law Enforcement Officer and cash isn’t just pouring out of my sock drawer, if you know what I mean. I have $11,500 in receipts from the previous owner. The engine has never been bolted into a vehicle. Dyno run only. 547HP and 502TQ at the flywheel. It’s EFI and I have purchased $2500 in accessories just getting it ready to put in the truck. 42lb injectors, 80mm MAF, 80mm BBK TB. 3200rpm stall, just on and on.
      I am going to use this as a weekender. I have a patrol vehicle so I don’t need a vehicle for every day driving. I can do my errands in my patrol vehicle. However I plan on using this truck as an occasional driver. You know. Hardware store on weekends, Lowe’s trips, trash truck. My question is how has your experience with your Stroker been? Are they ok for driving “smoothly “ around town and on the highway? Anything I should no or expect?

    • @derpyy4577
      @derpyy4577 5 лет назад

      ertren6 to answer your question I run 331 strokers due to less problems with powered breaks and compression. Cylinder walls are very thin on 347 stroker. So if you baby it you’d be good but having such a power little small block. It’s tempting to get on it. But you should be good watch the heat watch oil. Don’t it go over or under.

    Does the 347 stroker use another existing crankshaft, like the 350/400 Chevy hybrid does, to make a 383?

      Like with any engine, it depends on the intended use. The specs of a cam determine how the engine behaves and even determine the final compression ratio.

    ok what cubic inch can you take a 302 Ford to? just wondering

    • @andersonsspeedshop3051
      @andersonsspeedshop3051 8 лет назад +1

      about 347 safely, thats 3.4 stroke, 30 over bores, and without a certain piston it has oiling issues, a dart block can be taken to about 363 because its a big bore. better to stay with a 331 for a street car (because of the issues with the 3.4 inch stroke in a short deck block) or go 351w according to some of the guys i have talked to.

    • @idreamofdragonso5677
      @idreamofdragonso5677 8 лет назад +1

      +Spencer Hall cool thanks for the information, I guess I will take a 302 to 331 just to be safe

    • @andersonsspeedshop3051
      @andersonsspeedshop3051 8 лет назад

      IDreamOfDragons O no problem man, if you don't already have the block, pan, distributor, and intake, I would go 351w since the block is capable of holding 700-750 at the crank rather than about 500, its already bigger than a stroked 302, and it has the ability to be bored and stroked to 427 I believe, dart block being capable of 461ci i think.

    • @idreamofdragonso5677
      @idreamofdragonso5677 8 лет назад

      +Spencer Hall oh its probably going to be a aftermarket 302 block

    • @Tyler-tg3jc

      can't start the motor without an oil filter. if you watched the end they started it. you can drain the oil and take the filter off when you go to put it in the car.
