My engine builder used them straight out of the box I believe with the stock springs and a retrofit roller cam. Hopefully they work ok when I put the engine back in 😬 .
when they made the e street head they should of made it so you could use stock cam lifters and rocker arms so they would be easier to install for people who dont want to spend so much money just to use them
Which are the reference values to compare these ones? & excuse my ignorance, can you kindly define CFM? I bought the Edl 5025 for my Ford 289, how many horse power do you think can be developed with Edl 4 barrels carb, Edl Street Dominator intake manifold, 4.020 hypereut pistons with Hastings molly rings 2M5508, rockers 1.6 ratio, camshaft 230-280º/ 0.5 lift, compresion 8.6 & headers 4-2-1? I would like to have a response with at least an idea in average.

Do not trust edelbrock straight out of the box heads! Having trouble with summit and edelbrock for warrantees.
