Need more videos on the ram, I just bought one and your videos have helped me soooo much you get to the point and don’t leave out the screw ups so we don’t make the same mistakes
next time you do it theres a magnet in there at the bottom that collects all the metal shavings. take that out and clean it and reinstall. great video. youve made things a lot easier for me and my 1983 b150 ram van.
For those of you that need the information if you have a Dana 70 powerlok/Chrysler 9.25 you use 75w140 gear oil and 4 ounces of friction modifier, then you do 8-10 figure 8’s if your rear end shudders/ squeals add one additional ounce of friction modifier to the 4 you have placed in. For the job you will need 6 quarts of gear oil and 2 four ounce bottles of friction modifier
I would do a video about adjusting the tps sensor for guys that have problems with shifting into overdrive, I have a 1993 w-250 and I adjusted mine it works very good, all you need is a volt tester, pick, paper clip, and 10mm wrench, pick out the rubber grommet from the tps sensor, and stick the paper clip in where the red wire is, get your volt tester, put it on negative post of battery and on the paper clip, you should have a reading of 1v, if not, there is a nut/bolt somewhere under where the tps plugs in, once you get that adjusted to 1 volt you hold the throttle to max, and should get a reading of 3.7-4.0 volts, put the rubber grommet back in and you’re done.
Love your videos! A while back I bought an ‘87 D100 so your my go to for repairs. I was planning on repairing some cooling hoses on my truck as well as a couple other things me and my buddy have a whole list put together on what needs to be done (as well as some cosmetic stuff)
James Hoosier I did a video on brakes, rotors and drums. One thing I didn’t do was adjust the rear shoes correctly. ruclips.net/video/Bs86ZiKKiY0/видео.html
On my 96 the dealer recommended rear differential fluid changes every 30k but if towing to change rear differential fluid every 15k. Although I think that is a little quick on the changes doing the job myself doesn’t make it expensive.
just found your channel , my 1990 been sitting for 11 years gonna work on her over the winter only 69k on it . I was wondering how much lube did you use to fill it? my book don't say.
@@JasonExplainsThings well yeah, i mean i would think you want to get that old nasty oil out. it does seem a tad excessive. but i mean the new oil is going to re coat it right?
@@aaronhall1984 serviced my differential today... sprayed brake cleaner on the inside... the old fluid does leave a dark nasty thick layer... the new gear oil should do its job?

Isn’t that only for lsds
@@jberrocalucf the gear oil additive is needed if you have limited slip. If not then 75w140 for towing and 80w90 for mostly daily driving
Nice episide, please do one retrofitting a newer fuel module. 88-90 fuel module are gone. They need 91-93 pump 5 prom connector
Just purchased 90 d150 the door panel has been taken off and wires are everywhere love the videos!
Nothing like the smell of old gear oil in the morning!
I love these videos. I'm looking into getting a 92 regular cab. I'd love to see a tour/review of the truck!
Great idea. I'll try to do that this summer.
I have a 1984 W150 and these videos are very helpful
Awesome!

Can u make a video on how to change out the door locks
Love the Old Dodge series. Definitely excited for the next one. Congrats on the new job and move. Hope all is well.
David Friedlander thank you sir!
Nice truck. Greetings from germany.

That 1 gallon of gear oil I had was enough with a little extra. You just pump oil in until it runs out, then you know it’s full. 👍
I've just become the proud owner of the same Dodge but I'm looking to get it a tune-up and do it myself do you have any videos explaining how to
I've got a whole playlist of videos about the Dodge. :-)
There is a vent line I think... after noticing one on my truck. It is clogged up with dirt, how important is it to be not clogged?
I’ll check that next time I service the diff. Thanks!
Awesome!!
Does anyone else feel like this guy and Pee Wee Herman are related in some way😂😂😂😂😂. But seriously, enjoy the vids🤙
isnt that Alberta beer?....lol
How you secure the gasket into place while replacing the cover?
You can use gasket sealant or RTV.
i was just curious why you said not to spray the break cleaner inside the dif?
Break cleaner will remove the oil from the metal surfaces.

Need to replace oil sending unit/switch
How often do you have to change the rear differential oil
Different manufacturers have different intervals. Every 30k to 50k miles or so.
I'd like to see wheel bearings on front
That’s covered in my brake video pretty well.
Rear differential yoke
is it 4wd?
Nope.
not being creepy, maybe I am, are you located in Washington?
Yep.
Little cuties.
yeah as soon as you started prying on it with the hammer i could smell it.. stupid brain tricked me
😂
