Like a spin off you mean? Or a straight ahead new This is England Chapter? I love this gang of friends as much as anyone but I feel like a return to This is England proper might be a mistake. What I could see is possible a new series set in(was this suppose to be Sheffield? It is the West Mids, at least yeah?)in the same area...maybe have occasional interactions with Woody's old gang...much how they've done with the Sons of Anarchy on the Aztecs show in the U.S.
There's been talk of another film set in the year 2000 called This is England '00. The last time (or the last time I'm aware of) it was spoke of was in March or April 2020. For the best aging affect it would take another two years.
@@woooooooo9061 it wouldnt be amazing though, would it? What would it be...2000 and they all get mobiles and learn to text one another? My opinion...the end scene is a gracious send off to these people we've grown to love through the years. You miss them? Imagine where they'd be in life now...I think a return to film for them could not do anything good for our memories and nostalgia.
@@at0micwerew0lf if they could find a good story line, and they have one of the best writers on the planet, I would absolutely love a new series. Combo coming back into it would be a stretch, but maybe Milky dealing with the guilt, or even being caught for his part. It was a great ending, but the acting and casting on that show was genius.
@@skaworld509 Yes but he orchestrated it, if he’d warned Combo and told him to never come back Combo could’ve done so. He wanted to see Combo gone, but only in the last minute realised he’s just as bad as Combo for what he let happen.
@@skaworld509 I know I'm arguing the actions and intentions of nonexistant scripted characters but do you not think Milky's uncles would have fck'd off had he told them to? I believe they would have. And aside from...look, one doesnt have to participate in physical action to participate in revenge. You could have revenge by keeping your lips buttoned, yeah?
@@at0micwerew0lf If someone harmed a female family member of mine, Gd FORBID, I have 3 large brothers who would discuss revenge. Naturally enough. Then swap that for what happened to a beloved family member of a large immigrant West Indian family, where machismo and pride are fierce, where family and loyalty are all that protect you from oppressive violence and someone as sweet as Milkie could never stand in the way of sworn revenge. And it's Milkie who, at the zenith of the story arc, is side-lined and isolated from the group at Woodies and Lol's wedding. His blackness had him beaten senseless, his culture had him avenged by murder which he had no hand in and all he ever did was love his crazy gang of misfit buddies which he considered as close as family but now realizes that his blackness will never make him their family. He showered love on a troubled and lonely child (Sean)
I notice the two scenes of lol and woody having a joke about her affair with milky seemed to have been cut. Likely to remind the audience that what they did to woody wasn’t okay
@@northerncrapthattalksback6589 We did not use it, (im from south) but i met northerners who used it, as well as "lush" and "mint". another 2 things we did not say.
I miss this. Wish Meadows would follow up with a new addition to the series. Its time

Milky stomach must be churning. If you go down the road of revenge you had better dig two graves
just the look on his face says it all
He didn't
"Promises were made around my bedside"
His family ordered Combo's murder. Milky was unconscious while that happened
