This is England is one of the best dramas ever made
Absolutely love the actors, setting, fashion and subculture aspect
Joe, Thomas, Vicky, Andrew and Stephen were absolutely amazing, as well as the other actors
Love from Brazil
The crew that done the hair, makeup and dress absolutely nailed it. Every town/village/city north to south can relate to this is England.
not the posh ones.
Love Joe. "Most dads go a little bit trampy"
He killed me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️Absolutely love him! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😘😘
It definitely happens
I used to wear designer cloths now i shop in primark 😂😂
She knows her stuff. The wardrobe was spot on for this show. Everything felt authentic as it if were actually filmed in the 90s
Gadget never took that fucking top off in 90. Or the fucking hat! Lol. Still a good lad though.

This is England '90 was fantastic. Gritty and gripping. A great companion series to the film.

Imagine "This is England 2000"
@@jlcrproductions301 There's talks of This Is England '00
@@nothanks5630 I'd feckin kill for that
Never seen anyone in 1990 with that blond quiff haircut!!! I Had that in 1981 when I was following Psychobilly band The M3t3ors!!! In the late 80s early 90s everyone had longish wavy hair center parted 'Madchester' style. Lots of stuff wrong with TIE90. Not even any mention of Italia 90.
+WednesfieldFCLadies Remember, people were mostly wearing 80's styles at this point as it was only the first year of the 90s.
WomensFootballChannel
Tbf Harvey is into The Cramps in 86, it's feasible he still had the hangover of that look.
only really outdated farts had the quiff in 1990
WomensFootbalChannel - I know what you are saying about the long center parted hair. So many lads did have that but a few still wore it in that flick hair style. People that weren't around in 1990 think that everybody had hair like Ian brown wore his hair but in reality the only person who had hair like that was Ian Brown. He was so ahead of his time with that look and people started having it like that in about 93 and you still see it today but in 1990 there were more blond quiffs than the Ian Brown style.
You can drag a good thing out to long I think, In the US there was Fargo.
They refer to theatre of hate and Kurt Brandon who formed spear of destiny in the 80s she’s a decade out
Always knew Harvey was psychobilly inspired since I dressed the same lol
Where can I watch this is England 83?
That’s the movie and it’s just called This Is England
is it just me or does she look like sue brockman from outnumbered 1:13
just me?
I WANT THAT GADGET'S HOODIE
Yeah looks sick
@@jlcrproductions301 ikr, we have to hunt that.
she knows her shit
Ive seen theater if hate
Most dads go a bit trampy lol
I want Gadge’s hoody so badly
most dads go a little bit trampy, LETHAL 😂😂
Pk woody es tan inseguro?
The 90's was nothing like this at all..
Br1koo yeah especially the “rave clothing” people then were wearing moschino, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger etc
@@yesgeorge333 Koshino and bodyglove
I was born in 98, but to me it seemed accurate, I've heard a lot about raves in the 90s and there was such a thing as rave clothing. Although this is more like Madchester scene and not happy hardcore clubber if that makes sense. They are characters that are heavily into subcultures so they don't represent the general population.
1990 was. Basically still the 80s. Late 90s absolutely not, but none of this was supposed to be late 90s.
The 90's were shit in England
No they fucking weren't, not if you were in your twenties in the Midlands they weren't..
The 90s got off to a good start but by 1994, that’s when I decided to leave the UK. Needed a different perspective because my Home town was becoming too small and everything seemed like a dead end.
