The film was good, the 86 show was even better, and I couldn't wait to see the 88 show, and believe me it didn't disappoint at all. I need to shake Shane Meadows hand BUT the next decade is the 90s so I don't think it's gonna happen. I think 88 was IT, no more sadly....
@kingofpunk1977 , i agree, but if you look at the bunch only the two major leads are really holding on, even though there is a skin/mod cross over. The rest of the gang are a mixture, one even has a cramps t-shirt and rock-billy haircut. Kelly is a bit new wave, with gadget as casual or trendy. I think we will so more of this as the series progresses, especially with the music. BAD - brilliant
@neverwasapunk16 When it finally comes on (I think it starts Sept 7th '10) you might be able to watch it on 4OD (4 on demand) - you can access this via Channel 4's website
@lazertagveteran I'm not quite sure pal, you could keep an eye out for a torrent also, you could try Internet protocol changing, chaging your IP to a british IP that way you can stream it, what i do if i wanna watch somethng blocked lets say from america or something. peace out

Should've expected folk to be all up in arms, but yeah The way I saw the trailer at first, The Whole Club setting thing, You know? Plus on the website, Sean said he really didn't want to incorporate the storyline of the first movie into the spin off series. Which is why it's a SPIN OFF series.

Come on ... Shane Meadows is a veritable genius, I mean genius. The best we have. First episode was outstanding. Near perfect continuation from the film. Does Channel 4 really think that 4 episodes will be enough ??!.

well they must have shot it for the movie and then cut it out and when it came around to making the show they decided to use it in it.
