Hey man. First off, wheel spacers may wear out your wheel bearing quicker but not as fast as you'd want to worried about your studs, and overall geometry of your truck's ride quality when off-roading. Typically people throw these spacers on while driving around the city and there aren't plenty of cons to that, but it will put more stress on your ball joints and other mechanisms when compared to the stock geometry. Personally, if you want a nicer stance I would get a wider wheel, not one with offset. Offset can help achieve that look but can also present fitment issues when selecting bigger, meatier, wheels and tires. Look into Maxtrac Spindle lifts which kicks your wheels out 2-3 inches, and does not place any of your ride geometrics in a vulnerable spot. Actually the geometry is almost the exact same as stock out of the factory just a beefier spindle.

I swear these stock trucks look like they’re going to tip over. Nice improvement 👍

Yes it can put more stress on wheel bearings, but so will non stock wheels with a wider offset. Off roading will also prematurely wear suspension/bearings etc. Some people running bearings hit 100k plus with no issues , some don’t. Im one of the people that haven’t had any issues. Its not like you put them on and 6 mos later your bearings start grinding.

You’re supposed to use a torque wrench when you install these not an impact wrench.

That’s with no lift? Also might want to use thread locker.

Do the tires rub when you turn , now that you have the spacers on, with the 65?

Wheel bearing eaters...Learned from past experience on colorado& tacome..definitely improves the look, but not worth it...Spend the $$$ on offset rims

      Really ?

I can’t see how spacers would wear out bearings FASTER than a wheel with the same offset. The same forces are at work. While yes, there is slightly more stress on wheel bearings, its no different than running wheels with a wider offset.
I installed Bora hubcentric 1.25 spacers after my drivers side wheel bearing failed. I figured it was a good time for spacers since Id have a brand new bearing.
80k miles later still no issues with the drivers side. Interesting the passenger front bearing is still original even with the spacer use.
There are pros and cons to spacers, its a topic that will be debated until the end of time.
Definitely check spacer torque specs every time tires are rotated, if not sooner. Ripping them on with a gun without checking torque values is asking for trouble , especially after the first 50-100 miles of use .

@@TheUnrestricted it's what a lot of people been saying they burn up wheel bearings quicker.

Both offset rims and spacers put the same stress on joints. Spacers are just cheaper.

Bro the spacer creates more stress in all the pieces of the front suspension, specially on the wheel bearing.

I have to agree, with much of the commitment section. Estra suspension wear, need to keep up with alignment. I just can't bring myself to like a video that is not solid info. Other than this video I think your content is solid. Best wishes and please keep the content going.
