Very helpful. On my same unit while moving forward a loud pop is coming from this assembly intermittently. Switching forward and back no real issues. Can this be adjusted or is assembly failing. Chain is new and a proper tension.
can that forward reverse assy. be modified a bit to work on a manco 606 frame with a 6.5 robin /subaru motor and a series 30 comet torque converter. I have been looking at the comet forward/ reverse gear assembly, but if this works it is about 1/2 the cost. What do you think? or does go powersport carry the Comet forward /reverse. Of course I would also need all of the mounting brackets, cables, hardware and lever. Any advise?
Am I able to purchase that sleeve where the reverse cable screws into? I bought a hammerhead that’s missing the cable and sleeve. Will a cable replacement kit include the sleeve?
I have a 150cc (147cc displacement) Chinese brand dune buggy. The reverse setup looks just like the one in the video. Is their supposed to be play on the backside of the reverse box, Between the reverse box and the motor? I'm trying to determine if it's broken, because I've been having an issue with getting it to stay in gear. I installed a new cable and it works fine as long as I squeeze it together with my hands. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
So that main bolt on the spline is the only thing holding it on? I have an old one I'm pulling off an old motor and it won't budge. I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong.

i have replaced the carb on my tomberlin crossfire 150. it running kinda sluggish, i tried to adjust the carb at idle is fine but as im driving it seems to lag in power. speed and take off. what could be the cause of that??
I put the same reverse assembly on my gts 150, goes in drive and when I pull The handle it’s like it goes into neutral but doesn’t go into reverse, trying to figure out if something is messing inside. because I was giving it when I bought the hammerhead, I know the external reverse came apart maybe something isn’t aligning up inside to kick it into reverse.
