Struggling! I just separated with my husband of 4 years.We both been through a lot from grief to argument’s. I couldn’t take the arguments and the belittling anymore. I have living on my own now for two months. He booked us a trip and told me that we need a reset because of everything we have been through. We went on the trip and it was amazing like we just started dating. We are going for marriage counseling in two weeks. I really hope we can get through this

She had planned a stay out of state with our kids that she didn't intend me to come on. She allowed me to come and during that time together I kept my composure but didn't make any moves nor just be stoic. We hadn't been sharing the bedroom for most of the year prior to that and when we got home before she went to bed she said I could join her. For almost a month things were great but then she had a snap back to reality or a newfound resolve to end things between us. I feel that she may have thought I was getting comfortable and wasn't confident enough in my changes to believe that it wasn't going to just be a matter of time and we'd end up back where we were before. It broke me again but I still haven't given up but I know a big difference between how I was conducting myself before she wanted me back and throughout being back for that blissful month is I haven't been able to hide my outward appearance in words and expression and how I hold myself of being needy and desperate. I'm working on getting finances in order to get in the program as just when I was using all the videos to try and guide myself this material has made the most amount of sense and given me the most amount of hope of any resource I've tried to reach reconsiliation... But that's still a part of my struggle is being so terhered to that desired outcome and it affects me on every level. Makes me doubt my value and intelligence and qualities. I want my partner to be emotionally safe for me too. To support and build me and encourage me rather than kicking me when I'm down, saying they want me to wake up and want me to succeed while it feels like actively trying to ensure I fail. Despite it all I still love her and I don't want to raise our kids in another broken home.
@@RobertRiggin I feel you brother. Going through a similar situation with my wife. She’s unwilling to work on the relationship. Keep at it , it isn’t easy to break that confirmation bias Jeffrey talks about. It’s tough to not appear needy and desperate but we need to somehow overcome that and do it really to change ourselves and be the best version and then in the end the decision lies in their hands whether to revive the relationship or not. Im in a similar financial situation and trying to afford the program.
@@a.haseebmalik6974 I could go on but I'm on both the pity party and the ownership. The harder she resists the harder I try and the stronger my resolve gets but it's breaking my heart. The kids I have with this woman are the same age as my oldest child was when that relationship ended and I never wanted to ever have kids get raised in a split household again. I've got myself to blame for not stepping up sooner at the first time she brought issues and unhappiness to my attention years ago. I could go on for hours but I'll just end this with I need healing, I need to get myself figured out and stop allowing my happiness to be tethered to anyone but myself.

I was hesitant to click on your videos because I thought I needed to hear from the woman’s point of view to receive the best advice. So I was only searching out videos from women. I was wrong. Advice is good no matter where it comes from. I’m struggling with my wife needing space. It really hurts, but your videos are spot on for how I feel and my situation. Great video and solid advice. My take away from this is dont let your emotions get the best of you and just try to be the person you are ment to be without letting any negative thoughts or feelings get in the way. Learn to enjoy and grow as a person and your own character. Easier said than done of course, but I believe it's possible with a little time.

My wife and I have been sleeping in separate rooms for the past 3 weeks she wants a divorce but still wanted us to live together in the time being as we just moved to a new state a year ago and we own a business together. Today I left the house to give her space even tho she didn’t kick me out but it hurts being roommates. I’m staying at our business and I’m just going to focus on myself, workout meditate and try to keep busy at work in the time being. Hopefully I didn’t make a mistake by leaving but I wanted to give her the space and see if it helps. I love her with all my heart and I want nothing more than to work on our marriage but she has her mindset hopefully I get a miracle and get to come back home, I will do no contact and work on myself in the meantime. I'm in the same position except I'm the wife and he's the husband who wants a divorce. He said he will stay until I get a job (I'm self-employed currently) so that me and my son will have insurance. And he said he'll still want to fix things around the house and do projects and things like that because he knows I'm cheap. So I feel like there might be still hope, but it is very hard with him sleeping separately and telling me there's no hope.

Thanks for another great video. Right now my biggest obstacle is that my wife is convinced that I have given up on our marriage even though I have not. This young man is really good. This video will help me to stop chasing her... I will try to apply the advice. My wife left the house after a burst of anger and being in a burn out for several years. Together with her midlife crisis we are now in serious trouble, after a mariage of 21 years. I hope the seperation is temporary because i truly feel that my life without her is not worth living. We have been seperated for 2 months now. It feels like hell.

I still hope she needs a breather and will find her way back to me in a year or so. I am demolished. On the bag was a word and by adding one letter it spelled her name. She also said " courage"...wich means something like stay strong. The last 10 days I noticed she is calming down. I hope she comes back from her 20 day visit to the family and she tells me we will try again. I have a feeling that if I stay positive, constructive and take care of myself and our daughter she will see she took too fast her radical decision and we will reunite. I told her she has the key to my heart and my happiness.
She hasn't filed for divorce yet. It has been 4,5 months since we broke up. It is hell. I would give 30 year of my life to be with her again. It is crazy.

I am in the process of finding and fixing my problems that drove her to leave the house entirely. I screwed up. I realized I had not even apologized sincerely for my behaviors in the past five years, though that was only one of the many of my issues. She is currently extremely limiting our contact. I am letting her lead that aspect with hopes of showing her respect again. Like Geoffrey said, I'm learning and doing this for a genuine change in me. I love the process of change for improvement. She said she misses the man she married. I say I want to be a greater man than him.

Before the separation, I got into AA, got a therapist, then started parental courses. It’s been great, we face ti change for us or we set ourselves up for disappointment if we hinge our growth or happiness on others. Expect nothing, accept everything.

With the exception of individuals who did not even do the program, we don't really get failures in the program. If you watch more of my client stories, you will hear us talk about this - how there are no people losing in the program.
This is hard for people who have not joined the program to believe, but it's the reality.
We are, however, going to start publishing some testimonials from people in the middle of their journey before reconciliation, and posting another story at the end.

My partner of 4 years recently cheated by flirting with a guy online for half a month, when confronted she felt no remorse but after i threatened to take actions against everyone involved in it (like her friends who knew but did nothing), she then started listening. Made her understand that he was taking advantage of her mental state. I wanna give her another chance and she said she wants to try again. But she hates me for threatening her and others. @@GeoffreySetiawan I started off by doing non verbal touch when we met in person since we have a daughter together, and she was slowly opening up to her feelings but not everything obviously and then she brought up stuff that was said in the past week, and that’s when she said she wants to take things slow and be friends for now. I wanted to react the bad way as my response but then from me watching your videos and Love Advice videos, it’s best to accept this as a good sign to help each other and for me to find the root cause and be able to take this time to learn how to approach her with win win solutions and how to properly communicate with her that won’t lead to arguments. I’m committed to bettering myself for my child and her to be a better boyfriend to eventually a husband to her and a better father to my child but at the moment I can’t afford your amazing course till another time but I’m still watching your videos and taking things step by step like how you explained in the in the masterclass on building the first 2 foundations with emotional and psychological safety.

My partner acts like every-time I change I’m gonna just do the same thing and has given up hope she no longer is affectionate even though she calls me “babe” or “love” and she sleeps with a separate blanket and on the other side of the bed now she’s completed guarded with me and it almost feels like she’s forcing herself to not be with me what do I do we live together and have a 1 year old
From what I am reading, you are doing things from a place of need. Once you achieve true change, you will be unthered from the outcome and your partner will notice your true/genuine changes.

Me and my wife have been separated for a little over a month. I have been trying to woo her back to me (I.e. flowers, gifts, surprise lunches delivered to her while she is at work) should I consider trying to take her on dates and slowly build the relationship back with her? Or should I just wait for her to come to me and stop doing the things I have been doing to make her feel special. @@seananderson2638 Okay so is it safe to say that the reason she initially wanted a divorce is because she felt neglected? What are the actual reasons?. Coach Lee argues it's almost always caused by a drop in emotional attraction. A safe way would be to work on this. Improve your emotional attraction with her by (having meaningful deep conversations with her), workout, try and make money (even if you don't I've lost count of the number of women who have told me how attractive ambition is). DO NOT make her your number one focus, she should be a compliment to your life not the focus. I understand your trying to woo her back but don't over do it. If it took 1 year for her attraction for you to drop it will take a year for it to rise to the level it was again. I got that from coach lee. Women want to be with the prize if you appear to be too needy of her validation she will sense that immediately and will lose attraction for you. You should both be in pursuit. Be unavailable at times (by that I mean be out grinding, levelling up, show her your ambition) then when you're around her make it fun. Women hate routine and love surprises remember that. Don't do too much too quickly. Also remember no women wants to be with a doormat, do not lose your masculine frame.

MrMcMiller, you need to figure out what you have done in the relationship that drove her away from you. Generally, we have issues pains or wounds from life, that cause us to react a certain way towards our wives. I have done the same thing, driven mine away, by me overbearing, controlling behavior; & I had anger issues too. So, to fix her I had to fix ME. When I changed my behaviors, and the ways I responding to her, then she began to change towards me. Basically, I created an environment where she felt Unsafe and Unprotected. That is a husband's job to create a safe place for our women, so they can grow. You need to go figure out your bullets that are sabotaging your marriage Relationship, and fix it in you, then when she see's a genuine change in you, then she may change her mind. But you need to fix you 1st. unless she's just a crazy woman. You will have to remove yourself from crazy women, but I doubt that is the case with you. I created the negative environment by being too controlling and too NEEDY! We have to grow up as men, and become truce Care Givers, that protect our women and our family. I had to change too my behavior toward one of my son's who was rebellious, but I was too demanding with him, driving a wedge between us. So this Training is good for all relationships. Hope this brings you some hope.! Geoffrey is brilliant in his training. Give her space and do not chase, use this time to go fix yourself. It will not be time waisted. It will better your entire life.

My girlfriend and I are on a break right now… I would primarily assume because of me and my neediness and it’s soemthing that I’m working on and doing my own things etc and working on my personality and character trying to be more compassionate and understanding. Look I love this girl and i would say I want to continue our relationship when she feels ready. Im at a loss… she said she wants a break etc and after watching this video I’m just wondering if I talk to her or not? 13 years, a 12 yr old Son, a real rocky beginning and a separation after she found a sexting conversation with a girl I hadn't seen for 20+ yrs. Just 1 time, drunk and totally stupid. My wife is the most beautiful person I have ever known. Her dad dying of liver failure, her mom died when she 15 yrs old, older sister went completely rogue (meth, fentynol. Weed, pills, major charges), nephew had a seizure at work and fell 12 ft and 15 staples in his melon, her brother and wife moved away, myself getting hospitalized with some kind of heart attack shit, raising my granddaughters; MY GRANDDAUGHTERS, not hers, her working her ass off cleaning, cooking, bathing, laundry and you name it; she's a incredible woman, 1 in a million for real and I'm serious as can be: then my stupid ass drunk one night and just mentioned what I heard to that girl about not having any gag reflex and loving oral sex, I say a bunch of totally inappropriate shit, next day ashamed and embarrassed.... Erased everything and tell the girl I fked up, couldn't ever cheat on my wife, completely defuse the situation and a month later my wife finds entire conversation in my trash file on phone. I destroyed the most beautiful person I have ever known. And only a sexting conversation, nothing more. She's done. Asked me to move out yesterday. So disgusted what at myself and no way to prove it didn't happen. Need a miracle for real. Any help?
