Genny, the sweater you're wearing is such a stunner. I think having the color work in one solid color is more effective than the often-used color-changing yarn (like Spincycle) that so many other knitters have used. Your Hesper shawl is gorgeous, and I think one duplicate stitch over that mistake would make it invisible even to you! I appreciate your concern about fit for a gift---I'm knitting a surprise birthday sweater (Jared Flood's Grist)---and since it cannot be tried on as I go, it makes me nervous.
