We're going to hit the studio again soon. In the meantime we'll keep you entertained with regular new videos! The videos are unmonetized, I therefore need your help to make them happen. Help us out via: www.patreon.com/MartinMillerGuitar I wish you guys all the best! Sincerely, Martin.
I would pay to see them just do covers all day. Love it! They do them perfect or even better than originals. That drummer is one of the tightest I have ever heard! So smooth!
@@monitor4208 I don't really get why Martin likes the Ibanez, why other notable shredders like Vai, Petrucci etc have used them. I love the playing but not the sound.
All of the session bands are like that. You don't get to be a session musician unless you can walk in and put this kind of stuff out, at this stellar level, in a take or two. Studio time is expensive. Try Dave Wekl and Jay Oliver's 'Higher Ground' if you want to hear another excellent cover, especially if you like drumming. ;-) I just found these guys, and added to the subs. Bottom 40 is good, Smoking Section is another, there are many more. And not a session group, but if you want some pure up foot stompin fun, try Steve'n'Seagulls 'Thunderstruck', not remotely a session band, and the tightness fails at least a couple of times, but the uniqueness factor is off the charts, and there is a reason it has 180 million views. When he rode out on the tractor in the overalls, and I saw the instruments, I laughed, then about 1/2 way in it was like, dayyyam, this is fun. Some of the comments are funny, too. One I remember was something like, AC/DC does a pretty good cover of this song.
You know when you are listening to the first few bars of a band laying down the groove to get everyone started and you're grinning and 'neck-grooving' before you even notice you are doing it...... This is that. Kudos.
What an incredible group of musicians all at the top of their game. For me, Mark Letteri was what made my jaw hit the floor. What a tone and beautiful phrasing!!!
I love session bands, no putzing around trying to stand on their heads while playing and the like, just killer awesome musicianship, tight and crispy...and interesting fully fleshed out interpretations.
Simply the finest collection of individual musical talent on planet earth. These boys would sell out the biggest stadiums world wide. Absolutely awesome if they ever come to Scotland, I will be there.
Amazing individual talents, synergized into what is called a superb jam. The licks blended well as they also deviate from each other. The rhythm was excellently executed. I enjoyed the performance as well as being awed in each segment. Each part played gives a surprise to its listeners.
Einfach Klasse.
You can tell this is Mark's wheelhouse, his feel on this is just tremendous. Don't get me started on that solo! Martin killed the vocal and the rest of the crew crushed as usual

I wish you guys all the best!
Sincerely,
Martin.
👏🏼 Love it! Like everything you guys do. *Just curious for a while now: what is Benni standing on?
Are you using a Helix?
@@Lisse1 I was as asking Martin 😅
😘
Do a KISS video :p
The engineer who mixed this deserves a great amount of praise.
I think Martin does a lot of the mixing and editing himself. Some guy
Yeah its in the credits, Martin mixed this lol. Man’s ability is staggering.
Acho que é o próprio Martin que faz as mixagens e edições
This entire series is a masterclass in engineering and musicianship
The vocals are too quiet and the bass is too loud
That snare, that drumming, and those fills!!! Damm, he's one of my favorites!! This guy rocks!!
And that kit sounds fantastic. Wish I could tune mine to sound that solid.
Felix is not from this planet. He's from a planet where they all play drums.
@@chriskennedy2846 he was born in a drumset... 😂😂😂
Thanks for pointing that out!
When he was born, the doctor slapped him... with a drumstick.
That drum fill at 1:46 is just SICK!
you just stopped me from posting that lol 3:05 too
I love it when Mark is on here
Man, Lettieri MELTS that guitar!
all amazing, but that drummer is laying it DOWN on this one! :-)
He lays it down on everything they do!
My God! So much talent in one room. Incredible performance. Felix is such a machine!!
Felix is exceptional! That drumming is the real centerpiece of this performance.
I would pay to see them just do covers all day. Love it! They do them perfect or even better than originals. That drummer is one of the tightest I have ever heard! So smooth!
Literally was just thinking this. Wonder what type of venues they could draw at in the states, I would go see this in a heartbeat!!
the use of space in Mark's soloing is from another planet.
I love Mark Lettieri's tone.
Insane on this!!! I must immediately buy that octavey fuzz thing he used *checks instagram*
Martin should throw away bis crappy Ibanez and geht a proper strat to get a better tone..
@@monitor4208 I don't really get why Martin likes the Ibanez, why other notable shredders like Vai, Petrucci etc have used them. I love the playing but not the sound.
What's not to love about Mark's playing?
You guys should really check out Mark's "baritone sessions" album .. it's just insanely good and groovy
A Stevie Wonder-Song with Mark as guest - can't be wrong. Big thanks for this great version!!
Hell yes!! 😍😍😍
The level of musicianship on display here is simply staggering! These guys all live and breathe the stuff, with chops to back it up. Wow!

Impressive as usual. Mark Lettieri's playing added to it is just...out of this world!!
Are we not gonna talk about that tasty fill Felix bestowed upon us at the 1:45 mark?

Hot damn, the drum fills.!
Can't believe how good everybody is. Amazing.
If this same performance had been recorded in the 70's, it would have gone down in the rock n roll hall of fame.
I'm always a fan of the Stevie Wonder covers!
I love Mark's rhythmic super-power! :)
I am so happy to have found another group of fine musicians who just straight up kick ass.
FN AWESOME!!! Fantastic band of muscicisns & my fave guitarist Mark Lettieri!
Felix Lehrmann is such an incredible drummer! unglaublich, so eine Maschine!
Can’t compete with Stevie Wonder’s voice!
67 been Stevie fan 57 years you guys jazzy funk rocked the hell out of it .

Imagine these guys on tour.... would be amazing.
Heritage honored. In the best way possible. Almost makes one hope for the future.
A hundred of hours and days of work, for playing like this. Congratulations and thank you.

Especially after 03.00 it was dazzling : Virtuoso, groove and energy. Hope this amazing performance will not be underrated.
Wow , that drummer, that drummer , that drummer , swining like hell, 🤩🤩
I love session bands, no putzing around trying to stand on their heads while playing and the like, just killer awesome musicianship, tight and crispy...and interesting fully fleshed out interpretations.
Very cool! My dad had this album when I was little and I always loved this song. I memorized the lyrics to this day. Love Stevie
Many good and even great cover bands out there. Then there’s the rarefied air of flawless. This is that!
Must have listened to yr I Wish literally 15 x; keeps getting better. GAWDAM!

Martin Miller and his band are the best of the best of the best of the best... infinitely the best!!!
waiting for the drummer solo... this guy is amazing! but let's be fair: all the guys are awesome!
What other planet in the universe has such good music?
Mark's solo is just pure genius.
So cool Drum fill & guitar solo by Mark Lettieri
One of the best rythym sections around. Guys are killing it while obviously have a blast. Mark's lick at 4:01 slays.
Love Mark's way of playing!
mark’s solo put a big smile on my face
These two solos are incredibly packed with language and material that I should learn 😅... Increeedible ideas
Lettieri ♥️♥️♥️ very amazing
The best covers of all of RUclips. I could listen to you all day !
That snare is crispy!
My favorite band of all time! I actually copy all of martins solos 😀
thats some chops :)
Haha, no kidding. My mind now fills in some of Martin's licks automatically when listening to the originals.
I might call Martin my favorite guitarist right now. His soloing is so damn good. Really nice fusiony licks on this one.
I see Martin Miller I click. He does not disappoint! Cheers
That rhythm guitar is so slick. I can't stop replaying this cover
The bass sound is to die for!
Great song, amazing performance. I loved the "unleashed grooveness" of Mark Lettieri.
It's that a valid term? 😅
Einfach Klasse.

That drummer is always KILLIN!
Love this song!!! ML crushed that solo and those drum fills were something else!!! It's always a good time on Martin's channel!!!

I love how the keyboardist's shirt creates a transparent illusion 00:20

Wow. This was tremendous. Mark's tone and playing was incredible and the rest of the band was as tight as always.

3:25 I absolutely love that little lick right there
Ridiculously good.
Oh man, Mark’s piece so abstract Masterclass melody.. Sounded just so right …😗😗
I have played guitar for 40 years, this is inspiring, yet soul destroying in equal measures. Amazing level.
this is pure perfection gahhh
My god you guys are good, to be able to watch and listen live would be a night to remember !!!
