It would be perfect wouldn't it! Vita3K needs to work on their UI I think, then work on popular VITA ONLY games to be compatible. After that work on the rest, not even Dolphin has made it to 70% compatibility yet and it's been out for years, I think the developer should buckle down on popular games then non.
@@DNAMobileGaming Definitely! If you run everything through a frontend like Emulation Station Desktop Edition it could be a nearly seamless experience, especially if someone develops a Sony-oriented theme for it. That would be awesome.
This looks amazing, as a kid I begged my parents for a 3ds or vita. But never once got one. I’ve been alive for 15 years and still don’t have a strong powered handheld. I hope it can change soon 😉

Oh nice! It's really not that bad of an install either, just remember the one cable is stiff and doesn't need to be removed plus the speakers also don't need to be removed just all the screws holding the internal plastic piece.
Recently got a vita after being a 3ds kid all my life and I've concluded that the vita design is peak handheld design. Seeing a system this powerful with the vita size and shape made me really happy and immediately put it on my shopping list.

That was maybe a year and a half ago. I did have a little yellow sp style powkitty that my brother got me but man it really kinda sucked, just wasnt a fan of it. Granted I hadn't really learned about the 60 different handhelds they release every other day yet. But yeah man you've been my go to content creator when it comes to this stuff. That Vita look is so good. Sony handhelds were ahead of their times. I mean playing Dissidia on my TV even TODAY looks like it could be a modern game when upscaled.

I have a PS Vita, and when I first used it I used Adrenaline to play psp games. But I bricked it trying to get some homebrew on it. When I was setting it up again, I decided to forego Adrenaline in favor of setting up psp emulation on my steam deck. I love emulating psp now, but the deck is a bit big so this would be perfect for that.

PlayStation buttons make the most since on a system like this tbh. Vague enough that nintendo vs xbox button placement isn't as annoying, specific enough for PS2 and PSP that they feel right at home.

Their process is actually extremely annoying I don't understand why they can't send a battery alone when they can send a device with a battery no problem. They should just put a Disclaimer that if the battery gets lost they're not responsible and only charge $20 for it shipped untracked.
@@DNAMobileGamingYes. Ironically, hardware-wise, its easily accessible but we can't access the replacement battery itself easily. I heard that there are legal barriers to transport batteries internatinaly without being installed in any device. Its sad that Ayn threw away the idea of using the Switch battery as a replacement.
The Odin 2 mini is what the Vita should've been. I feel like that could've forgo the back touchpad and did L2R2 shoulders. I get the gimmick but the touichpad was rarely used in games other then being L2R2/L3R3
The Odin 2 mini seems more powerful than the RP5 & RP5mini. Like you metioned on the other video of ayn/retroid, which do you believe will have better gameplay for ps2 and up? From the RP5 & Odin2M?
Your channel is important. It's important to have dissenting/independent voices that don't accept status quo views and are willing to extend the dialogue in the space, which you I appreciate. That mod was pretty simple and came out nice and clean, it so does remind you of a vita
