      Why would you get a light mouse anyways? You do know the reason they are able to make it so light is because the plastic they use for that mouse is shit, and heavy mouses in genral feel a lot more study and strong, AND they improve accuracy, so stop feeding into their bullshit , but a strong heavy mouse

      @mimp8365 Год назад +2

      @J M Yeah, I get what you mean. “Who asked?” can be funny if used responsibly but it’s way too overused by kids. Most of his viewers are very young and just want the best mouse for Fortnite, however much that may cost. They see lightweight mice praised in every review so that has to be the best, right?
      I don’t really mind the hype for lightweight mice but the thing that annoys me is that whenever something is so hyped and sells very well, innovation is just thrown out the window.
      I’ve dailyd the Starlight 12 Hades, GPRO Superlight, G502, G402, Madcatz RAT 6 to PRO X3 and a Steelseries mouse with a screen of which I don’t recall the name. It is a fact that the less weight the mouse has, the better it is for competitive gaming, because a lighter weight mouse can be both accelerated easier and faster, same for stopping. However, that is not an excuse for companies to make every mouse with more than 5 buttons obese. Out of all the mice I used the Madcatz were by far the best, even though they had weight to them (70-100g), they were over-engineered (in the best way possible) and brought innovation to the industry. The G502 is good but it should not weigh that much. Madcatz used a magnesium baseplate as a foundation for the mouse because they understood that if you want a mouse to feel sturdy and not cheap with plastic, you have to use more plastic. If you use a metal skeleton you can add plastic on it without the cheap feel.
      Aight I’ll stop ranting and praising Madcatz, you have a very good life as well, wish you the best.

    I'm a freelance graphic designer and I got a repetitive motion injury in my right hand painting. I used a MX Master for work which is a great mouse but it's heavy and it was putting too much strain on my hand to work. I had a big project due soon and another bigger on lined u after it so I had no wiggle room for my delivery so I was considering canceling the project I was on but that kind of decision can ruin your relationship with a client. I figured I'd find a lighter mouse to see if that'd help. I got this mouse the next day and it saved my ass, I didn't cancel any projects and the reduced strain gave my wrist the rest it needed to recover for the next one. I can't speak for gaming but I'm really glad I was able to pick this up for work.

  • @supremely450
    @supremely450 3 месяца назад +16

    Unless you play FPS games you wouldn't understand. Mouse specs are completely subjective to the user. However, lighter mice typically make it easier, faster, and more consistent to move your cursor from point A to point B. The general goal when choosing a mouse for FPS games is that you don't want to really feel or notice you have anything in your hand. Again, this is all subjective and different people perform better with different mice. For almost every other game or task on a PC, heavier with more buttons is preferrable.

    For anyone not understanding why light mice are beneficial. For shooters specifically if you are constantly flicking for hours at a time heavier mice will make your arm tired for sure. Also beinh able to flick a 180 and stop on a dime is nice. Heavier mice sometimes carry the momentum just a teeny tiny pixel too far past the target and can cause misses. I went from a 12 button mmo mouse to a light weight and my aim improved and my arm was less sore after intense quick movement gameplay. Also my mouse movement style as changed with my light mouse. There are small differences that add up to a lot.

    • @derbart1191
      @derbart1191 3 месяца назад +1

      This is not how it works, it is a missconception. There is no proof of it, gaming companies use this for their advantage. Your Wrist strenght doesnt care if it have to stop 50g or 100g, the mouse will always stop at the same position. The only difference by these light mouses is the multiutility, because the shape of it allows you to use every grip and to change grips in an instant.

      Not a good way of explaining it. Also, anyone who works out will laugh at you.
      It’s purely a physics problem. A heavier mouse has more inertia, and more inertia means more force is required to overcome that inertia to do anything; get the mouse moving, stop the mouse, or change direction.
      I’m tired of poor explanations on this simple topic. If it can be boiled down to a science it will be better understood.

    I’d relate it to something like headphones, sure those $1000+ headphones are better on paper but only a small percentage of people can actually hear the difference compared to $300 headphones.
