I use smaller head tight string pattern frames, but I use to play with an aero pro years ago, this frames need a thick gauge poly to control the launch, I agree the power and launch can make you lose confidence and make you tend to abreviate your swings on match play,
You probably overhit the returns because your stroke mechanics are dialed in on the speed pro which has a really low launch angle and less power. Would take some time for you to get used to the frame.
Exactly! Which is why this type of power racket is not really in my wheelhouse. But I try to review things that are outside my spec preference from time to time.
great review. I am testing it out myself. However I use an eastern grip, coming back from not playing for a while. Have you ever played with the Prince twistpower x100?
Is it true that there's a left handed and right handed version of the twistpower? I heard they do in Japan not sure tho and have you tried it?does it play similar to an aero? The twistpower does look interesting.
I did not do a swing weight test because I don't have an RDC machine but tennis warehouse lists the swing weight at 322. For comparison's sake, the swing weight for the previous gen was 324. Not a huge difference but the 2023 edition is a little head lighter.
@@opencourt808 in comparission with the previous pure aero, did you find it's more manuverable? i had trouble with the old onde, cuz it was too heavy on swing.
I'm an intermidiate player who is learning the game. Would this give me access to try all types of shots and learn the fundementals of the game, or is it too stiff and more for teh advanced player.
I appreciate a good review like this one. However, during your play test you stated it was still hurting your wrist and then you contradicted yourself that it did not hurt your arm or wrist. Please which is it? Did it hurt your wrist or not?
Sorry about that. The 2023 version of the Pure Aero did not hurt my wrist long term. I just felt some stiffness when I struck the ball off center. The 2012 edition of the AeroPro Drive was really stiff and I said that one hurt my arm a lot.
@@opencourt808 Thank you very much for your response. I now understand. I know what you mean about the older versions. I own the 2019-2020 Rafa PureAero and I’m force to sell it, due to the the stiffness which has created me huge elbow pain. Lucky I now play with the 2021 PD which I love and no pain at all. Again, thanks 😊
Great view man! Damn, this place looks like paradise
Great review! Please do the 2022 ezone 100, they say its great for doubles

No, unfortunately none of the shops in my area have it in stock. I may try to demo it online in the future.

What SW did you get on this model? I”m thinking about getting one of this

I would say this racket would be a good place to start. I would recommend stringing it with a soft multifilament to protect your arm though.
@@opencourt808 What tension should I string it at
Which string did you use and how many lbs?
I used full bed Babolat Addiction and full bed MSV focus hex
