To celebrate the 3 year anniversary, here is my prediction for the top 50 roller coasters in the world, as well as a comparison to last year's list showing how the rankings changed from last year.

Note: This list is just a prediction, as I have only ridden a few coasters that are featured. That being said, I have ridden a wide variety of types of roller coasters, and I have done extensive research on each of these rides over the past few years. Because of this, I have gained a very solid understanding of what I personally prefer in a roller coaster, and I can be fairly confident in this ranking.

I agree this is one of the best coasters ever!
I did it in the freezing cold in it’s still in my top 5, I’ve only done 70 coasters so it doesn’t say much but it’s only behind amazing rides like Twisted Timbers, Iron Gwazi, Fury 325.
Velocicoaster and Ride to Happiness at 20 and 17 is insane
I have ridden Lightning Rod, VelociCoaster, Maverick, Steel Vengeance, Fury 325, and Iron Gwazi, and all of those rides are in my top 10. Amazing ranking!

I Like DC rivals placement, feel like everyone is overrating that Ride
The good spots seem elite, but there are a few dead spots
I think it’s on the same boat as Millenium force, it’s so overrated it’s underrated
Been on untamed at walibi Holland. My favourite coaster, not that I am an expert in them but wow it’s amazing. I remember the old coaster as well before it was remade into a hybrid. Love it
Fantastic list!...unfortunately, I have only been on coasters in the U. S. I plan on changing that.... I'm happy with the placements of Fury and Twisted Colossus. Gwazi and Vengeance....definitely the top 2....but I give SteVe the very slight edge. Riding Wildcat this weekend and Arie next month. I really have to get to Intimidator 305....no excuse to not have been on it yet.
Update: Went on Wildcat's Revenge...definitely one of the better RMC'S...by t he late afternoon..this thing flies through the course. I also re-rode Skyrush and I forgot how intense the back row is...basically, it tries to kill you : )
Maverick over VelociCoaster is crazy. We must have gotten a lot more dumb to put it -14 from last year

as someone who rode maverick yesterday, and Velocicoaster like 2 weeks ago. I 100% agree with the fact that Maverick is the better coasters. (I do not care about theming in the slightest)

T express is my favorite coaster ever, but I haven’t experienced many, and also for your next like building a perfect coaster could you do the Intamin prefab wooden coaster?

In my personal opinion, Velocicoaster Is my favorite coaster of ALL TIME. The very fast movement on the second launch, the drop, and the mosasaurus roll just makes this ride absolute perfection. At first I was nervous on riding this, but now I feel like I could ride it every second I’m at universal. I even got the shirt which I have not regretted buying. If I had to rate this out of 10, It would break my scale. As one of this biggest Jurassic Park and World fans, I approve of this ride.

Batman Gotham City Escape is much better. Velocicoaster and Batman both better than Toutatis, it isnt that good as a complete experience
Batman gce is worse than veloci by quite a lot
@@ProduccionesGarfol I'm not saying bgce is better than veloci, just that in my opinion both are better than toutatis. Just by their pov, because I haven't ridden none of them
@@eduperaba Yeah I understand. As well as taron and taiga. Both of them seem more complete rides. Toutatis was kinda disappointing. I was expecting a more impactful pacing and agressiveness, but no:(

I like your ranking, but Ride to Happiness, Velocicoaster, Taiga and Batman Gotham City Escape alle deserve a higher spot
Taron, Gotham city escape and ride to happiness seem very low
Gotham city should be in low 30's or middle 20's, Ride to happiness has one dead spot so I see why he placed it there, taron's first half and finale don't seem to do a lot.
@@sr.chi7741 just because rth has one bad element, doesn’t mean it’s not worldclass and the whole second half and begin of the first half on taron have also power
@@Blauwedakpan I agree, it's world class, but it still keeps a few spots lower. It's at worst a top 15, and at best number 1
Great choices, except I would've put X2 a little higher on the list. I was, however, quite pleased to see Steel Vengeance at number 2!!!!
I think DC Rivals should be higher, the only real dead spot is the Stengel Dive, the positives on the helix are actually really good once it’s warmed up, and that’s not just when riding backwards. I have ridden it quite a few times now but your entitled to your own opinion so it’s all good. The backwards seats are an upcharge and definitely not necessary they are fantastic.

You put Kondaa above Toutatis and Velocicoaster (just mentioning the best new intamins)! Well everyone has another opinion...(kondaa´s my homepark ride, so i guesse i´m lucky😅)
Which ones out of the top 20 have you been on? Velocicoaster's POV doesn't do it justice. Greatest layout of all time
Been on VelociCoaster and I honestly prefer maverick’s layout. Plus I found VelociCoaster to be much rougher than I was anticipating. Still an amazing ride and the mosasaurus roll delivers as everyone says

This ranking is the worst I've seen, to ride to happiness, velocicoaster, batman ghotam city escape, Taron, they are too far behind and there are too many wooden coasters and too many RMCs in the ranking, beware that not all RMCs are good...

do you rank mainly on the layout or do you also take theming into account ? because I feel like FLY deserved to be on that list
Yes, theming is taken into account, I just think that FLY is not a ride that really appeals to what I prioritize in a coaster that is considered "elite"
@@EliteCoasters expedition geforce and a lot of different coasters on this list are definetly not superior to FLY in my opinion. But Id really like to know your reasoning behind this list, btw im not trying to be over critical, just curious

Most people say that zadra is better than iron gwazi some people say that zadra is the iron gwazi on steroids most people say that zadra is one of the best rollercoasters

Great list! I would like to comment on some coasters on this list that me/my close friend have been on though…
I’m surprised and happy to see that ArieForce is so high! It is really great! That being said, we both agree that it is better than Fury 325. After my rides on Fury I had probably the worst headache i’ve ever had. I threw up soonish afterward as well. Along with this, the ride felt short, some possible airtime moments fell flat and therefore there were only 4-5 ones on the ride, and the ride slowed down really quickly. I respect the decision though!
Also, Id like to say that Goliath at SFOG is better than Mako, mainly because of the positive G forces. Mako has more airtime but Goliaths is stronger and the ride is more forceful and diverse as well. The ending even has some laterals! And when people complain about its shakiness or roughness I cringe because the only thing it inhibits you from doing is riding the coaster like 5 times in a row which is almost impossible due to wait times and ops. That might be hypocritical because i had a really bad headache after Fury (i’m not sure if it was roughness but there was something about it that my body didn’t like) but most other coasters don’t bother me.
you must’ve been riding a different fury than me, because when i rode it, it was one of the most incredible coasters oat. the first drop was spectacular, speed felt insane, ride was smooth, and ofc it felt a little short, but only because you fly through the layout, but when you hit the brakes you don’t feel cheated out of any of the track, feels like a complete coaster.

About Fury, the ride does not slow down quickly as it averages 91 ft/sec for the entire ride. For comparison Steel Vengeance averages 62 ft/sec, which accounting for their respective top speeds, means SV slows down faster than Fury (due to larger hills respective to their drop heights). I think SV is an overall better ride, but barely. Fury 325 is the 4th longest roller coaster in the entire world, but apparently it "felt short"
I know it’s all opinion but from all the reviews I’m seeing, Wildcats Revenge is better then Aiereforce one and best RMC in the northeast
By far this is the most controversial list of top 50 coasters. Velocicoaster? At 20#? Whatever, it’s your list

@@huntzzio Taron is way too low. it's superb. The 2 launches should put it at top 30 on their own.
I actually like taron placement, some parts of the ride look forceless, and the layout isn't that good. But some of the good elements and theming make up for it.
Didn’t Arie Force One open this year? I also scratch my head why Velocicoaster & Lightning Rod are so far down your list. Your list and you have so many coaster credits, especially international.
This is just a “prediction list” of what I would rank these rides “if” I’d ridden every coaster. I’ve probably ridden 10-15% of what’s on here, the rest is based off of what coaster types, elements, layouts, etc I know from similar experiences that I would prefer

Ich selber bin davon nur Zadra gefahren, wo einen ordentlichen 6. Platz ergattert hat.
Aber Ride to Happiness nur auf Platz 17?
Dabei zählt gerade diese Bahn zu den innovativsten der letzten Jahre, gerade wegen dem Fahrgefühl.

lol - that's one of the most crock of shit lists I've ever seen. For one, Skyrush is on it. Over Millenium Force? Seriously??? I no alternate universe would this happen. Skyrush was also above X2 which should be a top 10 coaster on any list. Well . . . fun to watch but couldn't agree less.
