I love all coaster content, enjoy watching it so much and appreciate what you do. My feedback is only from honest wonder. I have no idea how anyone could ride Mako and believe there are 49 better coasters in the world. I have similar questions about how Velocicoaster, maybe the best themed coaster in the world with the best inversion in the world (the roll) could be ranked 10. After my son and I took a trip to GA to ride Arie, we both agreed as great as this new RMC is, it's not nearly as good as Velocicoaster. I hope to get as many coaster credits as you one day and appreciate your opinion.
Nice rankings! You have FLY a lot higher than I do relative to the coasters I’ve ridden, but I get why… also I’m glad to see Iron Rattler so high, I loved that ride so much
I like the video but i REALLY wosh you would add park locations. Telling me its at PNE funland or whatever does nothing. Give me a city and state or something
Do you think Superman at SFNE will run as good again this year as last year? It was fast last year! Cannot wait for it to open, but I sadly will miss opening day this year. I think they may delay the opening depending on the Nor'easter we get this week..
Excellent lineup and list. The only gripe I have is in regards to Arie Force One. I'm trying to figure how this is a hybrid when the whole ride is made of steel?
I have a question: You've mentioned about some grey-out moments at the Lech-Coaster in Legendia (which is true, of course), but some people says the same about Taiga in Linnanmaki (especially first part of the ride) - do You agree with it? I don't like this feeling, so I'd like to know before, because generally this ride looks fantastic.
no offense but i find it absurd that you find coaster at pne playland better than fury 325 but that's just my opinion and its inetersting to hear yours
The fact you ranked Phantom right between RTH and Velocicoaster somewhat awes me. It’s the coaster that got me into coasters, so I’m always glad to see when it is as highly regarded as that.
My number 1 is T-Express at Everland and the gap between T-Express and my 2nd place (Flying Dinosuar) is pretty big, also I only have 24 credits so I can’t even make a top 25😢 (from what I remember)
@@CanobieCoaster definitely worth it, even though I don’t have many coaster credits I think it will stay in my top 25 for the rest of my life, and only one coaster I guarantee I am riding that might pass it and thats AireForce One which I am riding in less than a month.
I must have some good luck bc I only have 69 credits yet have been on 14 of your top 100. My top 5, 1. Velocicoaster 2. Arie Force One 3. Iron Gwazi 4. Iron Rattler 5. Goliath (SFOG)
You're clearly an RMC fanboy. They are definitely intense but I hate their restraints too much to rank them high for me. Where would you place Diamondback and Kumba as I noticed they were both off your 100. Of course you've ridden about 1000 coasters more than me
@CanobieCoaster Yeah that's my problem. I do love Iron Gwazi though because it's mostly laterals and swooping motions so they don't hurt my legs. SteVe would probably be my #1 if not for the restraints. I'm going to SFFT and SFOT next week so I can try the Gerstlauer restraints.
I've had to demote Boulder Dash in my estimation--it just got too rough. I would definitely not rank it above Shambhala or Superman: The Ride. But I haven't ridden it since the Titan Tracking. My all-time favorite is still Wicked Cyclone, which I would rank above *any* of those--but I have not ridden any other RMCs!
@@CanobieCoaster It's frustrating because the coaster clearly always has the potential to be an all-time great--they just need to take proper care of it. It seems to beat the hell out of itself.
Petition to change all references to coasters as airtime machines to airtime buffets starts here. (Love the video, hope to catch some rides on Boulder Dash again with you this year like last year!)
Also, I feel like this is a good place to ask, can someone list all four inversions on Velocicoaster? Every time I watch a POV I only see a dive loop, the stall, and the mosasaurus roll. I’m assuming the inversion I’m missing is in the jumbled first half?
I think Steel Vengeance is my favourite coaster I've ridden, with Fury 325 coming in 2nd. I got unlimited rides on Fury (97 in 3 days and 4 hours of a 4th day) but only 10 on SV, 8 in the back car, (rows 11 or 12); one in the 3rd back (row 9) and once in the 3rd back (row 7), so they could switch if I rode SV enough, but I still think SV is my favourite coaster I've ridden.
So i believe my top 10 would go like this. 1. Iron Gwazi 2. Arie Force One 3. Voyage 4 Maverick 5 Mako 6. Orion 7. Diamondback 8. Steel Vengeance 9. Magnum XL 200 10. Montu I haven't been to as many parks yet but will be going to quite a few this year including dollywood. I just hope that Lightning Rod isn't as disappointing as Steel Vengeance was for me.
@@travisvanalst4698 It just didn't have a wow factor like IG and Arieforce did for me. I wasn't the only one either. My brother's first RMC was Steve and even he said it was lackluster. But the first ride on IG he was like, that was insane. I guess its just the repetitiveness to it but I think it has to do with Steve has way more floater than ejector and IG is all straight up ejector.
I feel, that 2 experiences that could crack the top 100 would be a Night Ride on Excalibur at Funtown in Saco. That twister section in the woods is almost just as good as Boulderdash. #2 is Roarasoarus night ride at Story land. That ride in darkness is phenomenal and i think it could be in the 70's.
I agree the trimmed version of mako is mediocre it wasnt until my 4th ride that i got to experience its full potential what a difference its my favorite hyper untrimmed
So glad to see my home park brought home a top 20 placement out of 1294 coasters! Do you think Skyrush will move up after you experience it with the new lap bars?
On this list, I've only ridden DC Rivals, but this summer I'll finally be able to ride some epic coasters I've been anticipating since I became an enthusiast, and I can't be happier. I'll be riding Shambhala, BGCE, Lech Coaster, Zadra, Hyperion, and Hyperia. I will be excited to see where they place!
What a fantastic list, lots of wish list coasters for me in here. I can tell from experience that Untamed can become borderline ridiculous at the end of a hot summer day. It really is that much faster compared to a medium temperature rainy day
@@CanobieCoasterI know I just thought I’d point it out. Also something scary I noticed (I may have missed it tho) None of canobie lake parks coasters are in the top 100🤯
I find many restraints don't bother me. Lol also shivering timbers is my favorite woodie. It was my first ever big coaster last year and I said I wanted to be in the back row. I spent the whole ride on my feet it seemed. Got a nice bruise from it
I’m very happy about your praise for Kondaa. I’m European and it’s currently my #1 having done almost everything here. The first airtime hill is incredible and the outerbank is simply the best coaster element I’ve ever experienced
I realy must be the odd one out cause i don't really am that a big fan on woody's and air time while I enjoy it is my least importend element (of the importend element). Having said that i still don't understand the airtime fans Phanthom revenge fandom. If it was up to me they could scrap that coaster and put something decent in. To be honest from all slc i've ridden only blue tornado was worse. Not that this PR was painfull but it did absolutly nothing in my opnion. Now after this rant i can understand why an airtime persone would have this top 100. I only have 800 credits but it is consistend with the difference in what we like and don't like and your observations are pretty good about the coasters. So Kudo's for making another good top 100. Ihaven't done that many yet of your top 20 but i should do at least 8 of them this seizone so with that in mind this is my top 10 1 Zadra 2 I305 (or whatever its called since this year) 3 Taron 4 steel vengenge 5 Untammed 6 wildfire 7 el Toro 8 Hyperion 9 expeditionGforce 10 lech coaster ( i have to say 3 to 5 are interchanegeble i just did Taron so often and at its best i enjoyed it more then the other 2 on avarage it probable be last).

I'm in the same boat lol, my top 5 is
1. Iron Gwazi
2. VelociCoaster
3. Mako
4. Montu
5. Kumba
Yes finally someone realizes how underrated Outlaw Run is!
It's an amazing ride.

24. Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure
25. Goliath Walibi Holland
Awesome list!
For Phantoms Revenge do you enjoy it more when the track is green or purple?
I liked it better green.
They're amazing rides, but there are others I prefer. I try to give reasons in this video.
Nice rankings! You have FLY a lot higher than I do relative to the coasters I’ve ridden, but I get why… also I’m glad to see Iron Rattler so high, I loved that ride so much
I love the visuals and Gs on FLY.
I like the video but i REALLY wosh you would add park locations. Telling me its at PNE funland or whatever does nothing. Give me a city and state or something
Sorry for not including the city/country. I kept it as the park to avoid having lengthy lead ins for each coaster.
Do you think Superman at SFNE will run as good again this year as last year? It was fast last year! Cannot wait for it to open, but I sadly will miss opening day this year. I think they may delay the opening depending on the Nor'easter we get this week..
It should by the summer. Usually it runs a bit slow at the start.
Really interesting to see you put gotham city escape above Velocicoaster.
Its not that big of a hot take I think most people would agree
It was close, but Batman is better paced.
I have GCE over VC as well mainly because of the pacing, but I do prefer Veloci's ending with the mosassaurus roll
@@CanobieCoaster Nice its a lot easier to get from when you live in the UK aswell I'll have to go try it out.
Excellent lineup and list. The only gripe I have is in regards to Arie Force One. I'm trying to figure how this is a hybrid when the whole ride is made of steel?
Didn't RMC use wood for some supports?
No magnum in the top 100? Its the reason most of these coasters are here... innovation!!! It kicked off the coaster wars!!!
It was in the first 10 that missed.
I greyed out lightly on a few spots on Taiga, but my greyouts on Lech were way harder.
@@CanobieCoaster Thank You!
no offense but i find it absurd that you find coaster at pne playland better than fury 325 but that's just my opinion and its inetersting to hear yours
The minimalistic restraints and wild forces are a unique combo.
The fact you ranked Phantom right between RTH and Velocicoaster somewhat awes me. It’s the coaster that got me into coasters, so I’m always glad to see when it is as highly regarded as that.
I love its power, uniqueness, and restraints.
Is RMC the best manufacturer in the world? 6 of your top 7 would say so!
I love their rides.
@@CanobieCoaster Now RMC has thrown a changeup with the reimagined FITH powered coaster at SDC where I work.
You have ridden so many more coasters than I have, but I have ridden most of your top 20, and Fury is criminally low imo.
His list is criminal lol.
Fury is excellent, but so are the rides ahead of it.
Did you see the new mack extreem spinner going to holiday park? What are your thoughts on it?
I'm excited. I hope the layout is a bit different than Plopsaland's.
It's a 💩 idea
I finally got to ride Arieforce One last week and its so good. I was shocked!
It's amazing.
How many new credits are you expecting in 2024?
Hard to say for sure.
My number 1 is T-Express at Everland and the gap between T-Express and my 2nd place (Flying Dinosuar) is pretty big, also I only have 24 credits so I can’t even make a top 25😢 (from what I remember)
I still need to ride T-Express. That's a bucket list coaster for me.
@@CanobieCoaster definitely worth it, even though I don’t have many coaster credits I think it will stay in my top 25 for the rest of my life, and only one coaster I guarantee I am riding that might pass it and thats AireForce One which I am riding in less than a month.
Two years in a row that I’m furious at your placement of Fury 😂
Amazing ride, but there are some I prefer.
I must have some good luck bc I only have 69 credits yet have been on 14 of your top 100. My top 5, 1. Velocicoaster 2. Arie Force One 3. Iron Gwazi 4. Iron Rattler 5. Goliath (SFOG)
Nice!
You're clearly an RMC fanboy. They are definitely intense but I hate their restraints too much to rank them high for me. Where would you place Diamondback and Kumba as I noticed they were both off your 100. Of course you've ridden about 1000 coasters more than me
The RMC restraints are fine for me. I know they're bad if you're taller.
Thank you for giving Shambhala a chance.
I love it.
Interesting you place Shambhala over Hyperion. All Shambhala fans that I know who have tried Hyperion prefer the latter.
I could see Hyperion moving up with rerides. Layout wise it reminds me of Superman, but I prefer the latter.
I prefer Shambhala too. Hyperion was just too shaky. I'm going back to Energylandia in a couple of weeks so maybe I'll re-evaluate then.
Meanwhile me with 9 credits :,(
Kondaa was my favorite, with Luna Park's Cyclone second
Kondaa is one of the best.
@@CanobieCoaster I feel like I am spoiled now
I've had to demote Boulder Dash in my estimation--it just got too rough. I would definitely not rank it above Shambhala or Superman: The Ride. But I haven't ridden it since the Titan Tracking.
My all-time favorite is still Wicked Cyclone, which I would rank above *any* of those--but I have not ridden any other RMCs!
I love Boulder Dash and find it tolerable, but I know it's not as smooth as other rides.
@@CanobieCoaster It's frustrating because the coaster clearly always has the potential to be an all-time great--they just need to take proper care of it. It seems to beat the hell out of itself.
Glad to see AF1 in the top 5
It's an incredible ride.
Where does Magnum place for you?
Around spots 110-120.
I still don’t understand how lightning rod is your number one
It excels in the pacing, airtime, and location/scenery departments.
Petition to change all references to coasters as airtime machines to airtime buffets starts here. (Love the video, hope to catch some rides on Boulder Dash again with you this year like last year!)
Hope to run into you again as well!
Also, I feel like this is a good place to ask, can someone list all four inversions on Velocicoaster? Every time I watch a POV I only see a dive loop, the stall, and the mosasaurus roll. I’m assuming the inversion I’m missing is in the jumbled first half?
The first inversion after launch 1 is an immelmann.
Steel Vengeance is a worthy number one.
So i believe my top 10 would go like this.
1. Iron Gwazi
2. Arie Force One
3. Voyage
4 Maverick
5 Mako
6. Orion
7. Diamondback
8. Steel Vengeance
9. Magnum XL 200
10. Montu
I haven't been to as many parks yet but will be going to quite a few this year including dollywood. I just hope that Lightning Rod isn't as disappointing as Steel Vengeance was for me.
Nice top 10! Hopefully it lives up to its reputation
How anyone puts Steel Vengeance outside of the top 3 will forever boggle my mind.
You must not have ridden Fury, and as high as you have those 4 B&Ms, you need to.
@@russ4moose i haven't yet, I will be this summer though so that should slot in maybe above maverick but idk.
I've ridden Excalibur at night several times and it's great.
I agree the trimmed version of mako is mediocre it wasnt until my 4th ride that i got to experience its full potential what a difference its my favorite hyper untrimmed
I usually get the untrimmed version, but I was unlucky in a recent trip.
For me its:
1. I305
2. Steel Vengeance
3. Millennium Force
4. Twisted Timbers
5. Magnum XL 200
6. Twisted Colossus
7. Maverick
8. Ghostrider
9. Stormrunner
10. Skyrush
11. Gatekeeper (back left outside)
12. Candymonium
13. Xcelerator
14. Raptor
15. X2
16. Cannibal
Anything below Cannibal isn't really solidified and hard to rank.
Nice list!
i feel the raptor is a migraine igniter
@@benjason_94 It did definitely have some "bad"" transitions compared to other inverts, but if I keep my head forward, they don't bother me at all.
So glad to see my home park brought home a top 20 placement out of 1294 coasters! Do you think Skyrush will move up after you experience it with the new lap bars?
I didn't have an issue with the old restraints, so it should rate similarly for me.
I was off by 24 places when I guessed from the best by manufacturers list that Fury 325 was your favorite coaster! But it was fun to guess!
I really like that ride though.
Solid list but voyage above IG is kinda....... Garbage even if I love voyage still
Both are elite, but I love Voyage's setting.
Still have Lrod at 1?
Yes
On this list, I've only ridden DC Rivals, but this summer I'll finally be able to ride some epic coasters I've been anticipating since I became an enthusiast, and I can't be happier. I'll be riding Shambhala, BGCE, Lech Coaster, Zadra, Hyperion, and Hyperia. I will be excited to see where they place!
Enjoy!
@@CanobieCoaster Thanks! Your rankings helped me choose where to go!
What a fantastic list, lots of wish list coasters for me in here. I can tell from experience that Untamed can become borderline ridiculous at the end of a hot summer day. It really is that much faster compared to a medium temperature rainy day
My Walibi visits have all been on rainy summer days, which is likely optimal conditions.
@@CanobieCoaster very nice!
I feel as if intimidator305 is unfiltered intensity. It’s just too nuts to not include in a top 100.
It's on the list.
@@CanobieCoasterI know I just thought I’d point it out.
Also something scary I noticed (I may have missed it tho)
None of canobie lake parks coasters are in the top 100🤯
Woulddcats revenge I te best rmc ever
It's a fun one, but I prefer some of the company's other coasters.
I find many restraints don't bother me. Lol also shivering timbers is my favorite woodie. It was my first ever big coaster last year and I said I wanted to be in the back row. I spent the whole ride on my feet it seemed. Got a nice bruise from it
the intamin ostrich bothered me as i didnt factor in the bump in the middle and sat super close to it 😭
Glad you love Shivering Timbers as well.
the intamin ostrich
I’m very happy about your praise for Kondaa. I’m European and it’s currently my #1 having done almost everything here. The first airtime hill is incredible and the outerbank is simply the best coaster element I’ve ever experienced
It's fantastic.
did i somehow miss Shivering Timbers on the list? it was higher than Fury 325 on the Cedar Fair list but i must've missed it here?
13
It's on there. It was in the top 15.
@@CanobieCoaster gotcha, will admit i was multitasking through watching the video so thats on me
I realy must be the odd one out cause i don't really am that a big fan on woody's and air time while I enjoy it is my least importend element (of the importend element).
Ihaven't done that many yet of your top 20 but i should do at least 8 of them this seizone so with that in mind this is my top 10
1 Zadra
2 I305 (or whatever its called since this year)
3 Taron
4 steel vengenge
5 Untammed
6 wildfire
7 el Toro
8 Hyperion
9 expeditionGforce
10 lech coaster
( i have to say 3 to 5 are interchanegeble i just did Taron so often and at its best i enjoyed it more then the other 2 on avarage it probable be last).
What did you find painful about Phantom?
@@CanobieCoaster O sorry nope Phantom wasn't painfull. But its just incredible boring it didn't do anything, ok the speed was sort of ok but that was about it. Blue Tornade is painfull Thats why its even lower in me ranking then Phantom.
Now i only been once to Kennywood so maybe it had a really bad day.
I think we have pretty similar taste
Nice!
30:21 LOL at the dude in the front row
Lol
I get this is all opinion based but I couldn't get through this video when you have Cyclone which is basicly a kids ride over formula Rosa.
Cyclone is an amazing classic coaster with serious power.

Well rip lightning rod now
It should still be an amazing ride.
Too much to mention, so I left another comment in the meantime. Wonderful two videos you posted for your 2023 best 100 coasters; Thanks for posting!
You're welcome!
I love hearing your lists! Very interesting to see how your top 100 changes each year. Lightning Rod recently fell from my #1 to #6 with the chain lift. It is still an elite coaster and the ride had no downtime during my visit with 2 train ops all day so the change was well worth it in my opinion! I also did Skyrush with the new restraints yesterday and it felt nearly the same to me. The airtime was a tad stronger while the laterals were a tad weaker on the edge seats.
I look forward to getting back on both.
