Cheap guitars often come with crazy high string action because the factory line nature of mass producing these cheap instruments doesn’t allow time or effort for proper factory adjustment. You can bring a guitar to just about any music shop (or a guitar center) and get a setup for little to no cost, especially if you buy your instrument from there.

The action was very high on mine- something just under a half inch (!!!) near the 12th fret. I don't have any problems with the feel and the sound is serviceable. I assume the silver dots on the pickup are the centre of the pickup coils. I also note that, where other guitars have the strings directly over the dots, those are about a dot-and-a-half off centre. Might that have something to do with the weak pickup performance?

I would honestly just buy a pre wired pick guard off of maybe a squire or possibly fender if you can find a good deal and slap that in there. Adjust the neck and shim it if you have to, then you’re good to go.
I keep one of the little 3w Orange amps like this on my work bench. I use it really just to make sure things are working while I’m working guitars. It’s actually relatively decent for that.
Glarry brand sells guitars at the same price point. The black and white bass is a decent instrument - clanky sound not very warm. Incredible value for money.
My friend gave me a bass cause he didn't want it. The bass was hella cheap but worked. It never had a brand name on it so I never knew who made it. The bass shown here however looks very familiar with all the same issues. Heavy neck, super light body, output issues, and issues with the cheap pickups getting caught in the body.. Let go of the neck and let the bass rest will just have the bass tip and fall. But seeing as my bass also has a poorly cut neck seam, pickguard not properly cut being too snug at the neck, and an issue with the action where the nut is low but the bridge intonation screws are high up on the saddle, so if you try to lower the action at the bridge the screw will angle down and not allow the strings to drop down far enough for consistent action. Also the coating on the neck is cheap and comes off with normal play. At first I though my hands were just gross but it was the film on the neck. It really did feel like little clumps of dead skin coming off the neck. Clearly this is just coincidence, I guess my search continues.
I actually an older Yamaha bass that has a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard... yeah it's not one of my American fenders or German warwicks lol but I threw some bassline quarter pound PUs in it and it ain't bad... still kinda fun lol. Awesome punk rock bass lmao

Ive been dying for a solid review of them but cant find anything outside of audio recorded from what appears to be an etch-a-sketch while someone tries to solo-djent over Avenge Sevenfold. I know you have had good times with Bare Knuckle in the past and a bridge and neck Sinner are just a poor man's paycheck away so It would do wonders to hear a full clean->dirt->distortion->full fuzz (the clean/fuzz where its at with these lets be honest) demo of what they can do for anyone trying to give life to a not so special guitar. I wouldn't pay 71 "cents" for what already sounds like almost a throwback to 1990s "instruments of torture--!". Neck shims--? Not mechanically inclined. If it doesn't play right for me right out of the box, it goes back--!
So for some reason I remember first act trying to fo a kind of custom shop, I might be wrong. I do remember seeing they had a guitar at one time for sale at around $800. Maybe try to find it and do a video about that??
I bought this same bass off of wish for 43 dollars you didn’t add the tuners suck they are so stiff it’s impossible to use and regular fender tuners don’t work with this but hipshot ultra light tuners do work I had a set laying around also the frets on mine were so bad and the neck was thick! Don't see myself selling my schecter anytime soon for one of these either lol
Please consider doing a vid of the cheapest 12 inch woofer vs V30.
Just FYI, it's a little cheaper to get it direct from glarrymusic.com. In December 2020 Amazon has it listed for $98 and Glarry's site has it listed for $86.
I bought the acoustic-electric version of this (branded Glarry) (dark blue sunburst) and its actually very decent
Ive been wonderful youve been Fluff.
Can you PLEeEeEASE fit the last cheapest guitar with some Bare Knuckle Sinner single coils??? Ive been dying for a solid review of them but cant find anything outside of audio recorded from what appears to be an etch-a-sketch while someone tries to solo-djent over Avenge Sevenfold. I know you have had good times with Bare Knuckle in the past and a bridge and neck Sinner are just a poor man's paycheck away so It would do wonders to hear a full clean->dirt->distortion->full fuzz (the clean/fuzz where its at with these lets be honest) demo of what they can do for anyone trying to give life to a not so special guitar. Thanks as always and keep up the sickness with these types of vids! You're giving so much wealth to the musicians who are trying to do their best with what they have (or haven't) got! :)
Please do cheapest drums but with good heads and set up. Maybe b8s or something. Not complete trash but definitely below mid range.
Some where in italy theres a man saying “WHAT, hes using pick on base, un acceptable”
Hell, 45 years ago when I got started you’d have loved to buy beginner bass that sounded and looked this good for even twice this price USED!!!
I ordered one, got the wrong color, return, wrong color. Kept and played it and hated it. Returned it for being the wrong color and invested a bit more in a Stingray Sub4.
So I guess thanks for screwing up my orders guys, helped me find a great guitar :D
I just picked one up in surf green and yeah the pickups are weak but not for long! The action was low and the saddles were high. I guess I got lucky🤷🏻♂️
My friend had one of these. Its absolutely horrible. This is how you ruin someones desire to learn an instrument. Its absolute garbage.
What you talking about, that is definitely AN GUITAR

Davie504 wants to know your location
I was about to ask if he got Davie's permission to make a bass video
I wouldn't pay 71 "cents" for what already sounds like almost a throwback to 1990s "instruments of torture--!".
Neck shims--?
Not mechanically inclined.
If it doesn't play right for me right out of the box, it goes back--!
You know what ? Riffs, Beards & Gear is right.---If my bass was stolen or broken and i was in a real bind---i would buy this for 71 bucks !!!
Fluff turns into punk rock when he has a bass 😂
Thats what i thought i get some serious Green Day vibes while he was playing
@@GJR44 Exactly my thoughts
When you have to rise the volume to hear something, it's not pretty good, to me.
Hi Fluff !
Could you make another video where you play this bass after a set up, checking how it sounds ?
Him: scratches styrofoam
My ears:
so you have chosen death ...
“It’s a T H I C C B O Y Y Y Y”
1:09When you said you love styrofoam but your making that face ironically
next time:
Cheapest custom guitar lul
I didn't start out playing a cheap bass...Always try to go forward, not backwards
So for some reason I remember first act trying to fo a kind of custom shop, I might be wrong. I do remember seeing they had a guitar at one time for sale at around $800. Maybe try to find it and do a video about that??
First Act's custom shop made a lot of Matt Pike's guitars
Or if you have an extra $130, you can get a decent Dean base model. Edge 9 or Metalman series.
I bought this same bass off of wish for 43 dollars you didn’t add the tuners suck they are so stiff it’s impossible to use and regular fender tuners don’t work with this but hipshot ultra light tuners do work I had a set laying around also the frets on mine were so bad and the neck was thick! I sanded mine down a bit and filed the frets and now it plays like a dream I’m replacing the pick ups with my older American p bass pick ups and alpha pots I have laying around and I will be using this as my hobo back up bass and for shady gig where it could be stolen at.
