  • In this video, I check out the COOWPS Meta Quest 3 ORANGE Comfort Head Strap. You can buy this head strap directly from the ANNAPRO store for $39.99 👉🏻 bit.ly/annaprostrap, and for $26.99 from Amazon US 👉🏻 amzn.to/3Hvnnww, £32.78 from Amazon UK 👉🏻 amzn.to/3vOb7Vt, and for €48.20 from Amazon DE 👉🏻 amzn.to/4b8PBuD.
The Comfort Head Strap for the Meta Quest 3 from ANNAPRO/COOWPS is a simple head strap that packs a few additional features over the official Elite strap option from Meta.
At a glance, this head strap's construction looks very similar to many other third-party Elite straps I have reviewed for the Meta Quest 3. It's not trying to be anything new or different and in some aspects that's fine.
The one area that this strap has going for it, is its colour scheme options. If you have picked up a coloured strap for your Quest 3 and you want to replace the soft strap with something more rigid, you can pick up a similarly coloured strap to match the orange and blue facial interfaces from Meta.
I don't have these official accessories at hand, so I can't comment on their colour accuracy, but it's a lot closer than all the white/grey options that are available from other brands. Everything is coloured either in orange or blue, including the rear head pad, the foam top strap and side rails. Opting for the white version will give you the classic two-tone white and black look, and if that's your preference I would stop here and look elsewhere.
For me, the colour options are the only real reasons to pick up this strap, and if you do, you'll be ok with its build quality and materials. The only downside I experienced was its willingness to restrict the rear part of the strap without too much interaction with the rotating dial at the back. Taking the strap off my head, or simply picking it up would adjust the rear strap slightly, which will always lead to some unnecessary adjustment once it's on your head.
If I were to nitpick, I would have preferred a thicker foam in the top strap, and some foam padding in the rear pad also. Otherwise, its an 'ok' strap to own for your Quest 3, the hinges work well, but do not 'lock' in place when positioned upwards like the all-around better Kiwi head strap does.
At its full price, honestly, your buying attention should be cast elsewhere, but if you're looking to fully complete your orange or blue VR hardware setup, then this strap from ANNAPRO/COOWPS ticks most of the boxes for a fixed Elite style head strap solution for those looking to add a pop of colour to their Quest 3 headset.

I agree, it does the job. Did you have the same colour interface to go with it?
